I
booked
this
hotel
mainly
for
location
reasons
and
I'm
glad
I
did.
The
room
we
had
although
a
bit
dated
carpet
and
furnishing
wise
was
a
great
room.
It
was
on
the
corner
of
the
building
on
the
10th
floor.
But
on
reflection
how
long
do
you
stand
looking
at
a
carpet
and
furnishings
when
there
is
an
amazing
view
to
be
had
from
the
balcony.
The
bed
was
really
comfortable
and
the
room
also
had
a
fridge
(bonus)
and
a
hob
(which
we
never
used).
The
bathroom
had
bath
and
shower
which
was
also
a
bonus.
The
place
also
had
indoor
and
outdoor
pools
which
my
wife
put
to
good
use.
The
reception
staff
were
really
friendly
and
helpful
and
we're
ever
present.
The
local
neighbourhood
was
quiet
at
the
entrance
side
of
the
hotel
with
some
nice
shops
and
bars
within
5
minute
walk.
There
was
a
downside
to
the
sea
facing
side
of
the
hotel
and
that
was
the
traffic
noise
and
the
noise
from
the
frequent
train
service
at
the
easily
accessible
station
3
to
4
minutes
away
but
this
is
easily
shut
out
by
closing
the
very
effective
sound
proofing
windows.
Two
great
Cafe's
are
within
5
to
6
minutes
walk
from
the
hotel
on
the
promenade
and
we
ate
brunch
there
on
three
occasions.
Cascais
is
easily
reached
on
foot
(about
25
mins)and
as
Edtoril
is
really
quiet
it
is
great
for
eating
and
drinking.
To
sum
up....this
Hotel
is
a
great
base
for
exploring
and
relaxing
we
took
a
taxi
on
one
day
to
Sintra
which
was
about
30
mins
drive
and
got
a
train
into
Lisbon
on
another
which
took
about
35
minutes
each
way.
Really
enjoyed
our
stay
and
would
recommend
it
to
anyone
that
likes
a
location
for
relaxing
and
exploring.
Thank
you
to
all
the
staff
who
made
our
visit
so
memorable.
PS
also
a
mention
to
the
lovely
gentleman
that
runs
the
paper
shop
attached
to
the
building
near
reception...thank
you
for
brightening
our
mornings.
