I really wanted to like this hotel but there were so many things that were wrong. First on our reservation I specifically asked for rooms away from the elevators. Which rooms did we get? The one’s right in front of the elevator. Second, when I ask if we could get rooms away from it I was rudely told no,as if I was crazy or stupid. Three, Rooms were decorated very nicely with nice views but the air conditioning didn’t work and when we asked for help were treated again like we were stupid and bothersome. The hotel person said they would have it looked at. Nothing was fixed. The room never got cold. Fourth, When we took a shower that night we were disgusted to see that our towels were already dirty. We weren’t given new towels until the next day after they cleaned the room. This hotel has a lot to learn about customer service.

This 3 star hotel is an absolute disaster. Our first room we were given had dirty walls, doors and floors. The shower had mildew and mold in it. The laminate flooring was bulging and damaged. The door handle to the bath was loose and the main door to the room had to be slammed just to stay shut. After our first night we were moved to another room which was much cleaner. But unfortunately our daughter was greeted by a cockroach when she was coming out of the bathroom. With every complaint to the front desk we were meet with a sorry and no real solution. Unfortunately our booking was with Expedia who were also unable to help us get into another hotel. After shelling out almost $2000 to stay here for 6days, I’m not happy at all. I have stayed in hotels all over the world! Amsterdam, Mexico, Canada, US, Austria, and Peru. And never have I experienced a worse hotel then this. I had even heard other guesses talking about the hotel, calling it a dump. Avoid this hotel. Thank you Hotel Lindo for the worse experience and wasting my time and money on this vacation for my family..

One of the most ambiguous hotels I have stayed at. On the one hand, a nice well furbished room with a huge terrace-like balcony and good service (thanx to Gena at the reception who helped me out). On the other hand, the bathroom was a total disaster, badly constructed, with mold on the ceiling, no proper ventilation, water drops on the walls all day long, jungle-like humidity and a bath cabin door falling off... Breakfast - too little space for too many people and the same ham'n'cheese breakfast story with tiny saucer-like dishes for guests not to eat too much. Was glad I got out of there.

The rooms were fantastic.I loved the decorations! The service was unbelievable. My child can only have lactose free milk and when we told them they completely understood and brought the lactose free milk! The location is great because barely any cars come by so the environment is calm and quiet, it also has a few spots for parking and, must I add, a brilliant pool as well as a smaller one for kids.

Despite the upgrade to a "newly renovated" room, there were already signs of mold in the shower. There is high humidity in the bathroom and not enough ventilation. As a result, the bathroom smells, and the towels do not dry. The reservation was for a room with a doulbe bed, but we got two single beds instead. The room service collects towels in the middle of the day and returns them a few hours later, which unables you from taking a shower in the meantime. Breakfast was terrible, definitely not worth the price of 10 euros per person. The Hotel booked an airport transfer, despite that we didn't confirm it. It cost us additional 50 euros, on top of the transfer that we had already booked and prepaid ourselves.

You can hear the drains very loudly and people in the hall when passing. Also the cleaning lady kept knocking at our door for unknown reason during the middle of the day when we had our don't disturb paper on the door.

Stay Away!! When we arrived we were pretty happy. It is a cute hotel and the room looked nice. Until we looked up by the curtains and saw a ton of mold. It was all across the top. How in the heck can they think it is ok it let that m7ch mold build up. It is a health and safety issue. We left and paid for another hotel. It was last minute so wasn't cheap. I sent them an email asking for a refund but they ignored it.

Me and my partner had a great experience staying at hotel lido it’s a great area 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants the rooms are exceptionally clean, the bedrooms are very cute and cozy and the bed is very comfy to sleep on they have pool as well which is great to go to after the beach the only thing I would recommend they change is their breakfast room and menu not a very inviting space and not the best food selection but other then that no complaints and would recommend staying here over anywhere in Lisbon.

Upon waking into the room we noticed a foul smell coming from the bathroom. Indeed it was the smell of mold. It’s crazy that this very popular hotel continues to sell this room to guests. The extra bed was literally the smallest bed I’ve ever slept on.

Old room, in very poor conditions, fridge was awful and looked like it was 60 years old. Stains on the walls, ruined parts of furniture, bugs such as ants inside. Also I couldn’t iron my clothes as they don’t lend that equipment. Definitely not worth the price, extremely poor quality

Rooms are ok, but bathroom door has no locks and there are no towel racks.

Really good value for the price in Estoril. Enjoyed my stay. I even forgot my car keys after checking out and the cleaners and receptionist kept it for me in case I returned. Really great service too. Bed was meant to be double but it was two singles combined together.

Worst hotel experience for me to date! Was there on a business trip, left early in the morning and returned late at night on weekdays due to busy conference schedule and business social events. After 3 days or so, I started coughing as I am sensitive to moldy air. I can hear the neighbors cough loudly at night as well. As I was too busy with all the daily conferences and social events, I did not have any time or energy to think more on this. Finally on Saturday, my first break from a busy networking week, I noticed all the black mold on the bathroom ceiling. I also saw ants crawling on the floor and on the table. I went to see the front desk letting them know that I need to move out the next day. I was booked until the following Wednesday. So I asked for a refund for the days that I won't be living there (Sunday night to Tuesday night) and I will still pay for the days I lived there, very fair right? The front clerk said the managing director was not on site and Sunday morning he will be here to do the refund. But she could offer me another room. I politely declined because there is no ceiling fan in the bathrooms and I didn't want to risk breathing more moldy air. She did send some cleaners later to tackle the ants. The cleaners were very nice but seemed very confused on what to do when they entered the room. I then used google translate to let them know where I see the ants, and they put some strong smell liquid in those areas and left. However the chemical they put down did not seem to work as I saw ants in those areas again at night. The next day (Sunday morning), I went to the front desk to check out as the clerk said the managing director would be there. But he is not, the front clerk said he won't be in at all that day and asked me to send him an email to get the refund. So I checked out my room, booked another hotel and sent the director a polite email explaining the situation and attached pictures of the moldy areas and ants. And I received a very nice email the next day: Concerning to your request, we believe that your early departure was not due to the “ mold” and hunts(I think he meant ants), since you have been in the room from 21 to 26 and did not complain at all! Even when you did complain on the 25, you were suggest to change the room, which you did refuse, and we could solve everything on time! This is after I sent him all the pictures. I feel like this is handled very unprofessionally and I was not pleased at all. So I would recommend to avoid this hotel at all costs and if anyone knows the local health authority that handles mold complaints in hotels, let me know because I have picture proof and witness.

Just returned to the UK following my stay at the Hotel Lido. My friend and I had a room on the 6th floor, massive balcony with a table and chair and 2x sun beds. Clean, airy, well decorated room with air con. Nice pool, although very cold, and great location from the shops, beach and local amenities. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk and got you to Lisbon in 30 mins. We paid an extra €10 as and when we wanted breakfast at the hotel, but this was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend. I’m glad we choose the room only option. Good value for the price that was paid.
