Be sure to wear light clothing it's pretty hot in Nice and Monaco and shoes that are comfortable to walk in. If you choose to get you passport stamped they only do it in the "Visit Monaco Turism booth" at the train station across from Starbucks in red letters. Keep in mind they give you a mock passport now stamped they no longer stamp official passports.

PSA: Just a heads up for every tourist coming here: your EU-roaming plan is not valid in Monaco! If you don’t turn off of roaming on your phone, you might run into high costs within minutes.

Air-conditioned train station and has a lost of service such as cafe, vending machine and toilets. It lacks of luggage storage. Overall very large and well- maintained. It has a cess to all part of the city. However, you will need time to figure out the different access because it doesn’t show on google map and usually gives you longer destination

It's a unique building, established right in the cleft of rocks... But everything is blinding in face of tickets purchasing. If you don't speak French, if you don't know where to go at platform and were to buy... the only way for you is to pray and wait for good Samaritan or your countryman, that helps you. Sad but true 😏

For a tourist this was my worst experience. Trains to Nice are in 30 minute span. The train at almost 6 o'clock is full and the tickets are not calculated as per the seats. Additionally people are pushing on the doors like apes. From this experience I found that Darwin's theory for evolution is indeed correct. When you see the pushing apes for the train, you can see devolution in its real form. And the worst part is that I'm from the Balkans and I have never seen that.

The station is very clean and pleasant. The station is very high, so you can see the wonderful scenery just a little walk away. It is convenient to use an elevator inside the building when you go to a tourist destination.

The station itself is beautiful in appearance and there is step free access mostly bar one exit to the platform. Toilets were available also. Around a 5-10 minute walk to the bottom of the hill into Monaco. Would use again.

The station is beautiful and kept clean. It has toilet facilities and Starbucks. The views you get as you travel along the coast are mesmerising! We enjoyed travelling to our destinations via train. The price tended to be around €3-4 per person which is very reasonable, cheap even by UK standards.

Clean train station but, OMG 😳😯 we took the train from Antibes for the first time just to go visit Monaco for a few hours. On our way back to Antibes, we couldn't believe it. The whole train station was filled with so many people. We were like fully caged chicken waiting to be relised from our cages πŸ˜³πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. So if you are not used to being squeezed while getting on and off the train, don't try taking the train to and from MonacoπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. It could also be, it was just our unlucky dayπŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ€£.

A clean, posh Station in Monte Carlo. Plenty of street signs telling you how to get to the station. One strange thing was there is No barriers And no one checking your ticket as you enter the platforms?? There are machine where you can get a choc bar or crisps and drink..

SNCF Sud Station. Ticket machines, ticket office. Toilets (upstairs but accessible by lift with a disabled toilet) Mens/Ladies downstairs and free to use. Some shops upstairs.

Best part of Monaco, quite modern and gets you out of this hellish village quickly.

Huge huge station and yet the train to Nice has just 4 coaches!! Waited for an hour and a half before managing to get on

Clean, organized, with some cafΓ©s. And it’s easy to locate yourself. Moreover, the toilets are free, unlike French toilets.

no chance to use vending machine. Every one of them broke as I tried to buy some water. Some more clarity in navigation for finding exit for people with wheelchairs or baby strollers needed.
