😠 If I could give zero stars I would. I don't write reviews often, as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever written one, and if I have, it can't be mote than two. But what I witnessed here today cannot go unstated. Long story short, if you are black, do not come here because black people are not... People often mention black, lady,

If I could give zero stars I would. I don't write reviews often, as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever written one, and if I have, it can't be mote than two. But what I witnessed here today cannot go unstated. Long story short, if you are black, do not come here because black people are not "worthy" enough to work for this establishment. Not 20 minutes ago, while dinning in at this restaurant and seated a few feet from both the door and the register, I witnessed a black lady come in and ask the staff at the register for an employment application. The person at the register was immediately taken aback at the question. After 5 seconds of an comfortable pause, she told the black lady the restaurant was not hiring. The black lady pointed out the hiring sign posted in the front of the restaurant-for all to see. The staff became agitated, and mumbling her words, told her they still weren't hiring. Of course the black lady pointed out, yet again, at the hiring sign, but all the staff could do was shake her head. Then the black asked, "is it because I am black"? The staff just mumbled something incoherent then kept quiet. But when she saw I was paying attention, she produced a paper application. By that point, there was a uncomfortable silence in the room as the black lady and I came to suspect racism as the underlying reason for the rejection. The black lady left dejected. I could not even finish my food after that. Today marked my first brush with blatant racism. And in Los Angeles for that matter. Smh.

Decent lunch option inside a little plaza in Chinatown. Small parking lot outside. Had a few tables. Got the beef udon, which was light on the meat but had well cooked noodles and a clear but hearty broth. Staff was really nice. Food was good but a bit pricier than expected for what I got.

I really like this place. Prices are okay and service was fast and very attentive. We got two donburis with miso soup and some takoyaki and we really enjoyed the meal. We were both completely full afterwards so I’d say the portion sizes are really good

If you are looking for a very traditional Japanese ramen, this is not the place. Or maybe I set the standard too high compared to the one from Japan. Overall it is not that bad, if you like California rolls and stuff like that, you can probably accept the food here too. If you order a drink, ramen, appetizer and a dessert, probably costs around $35. The staff is nice there, but it is kinda hot inside. And if you sit next to the plant, there are some flying things around you.

Small little business, seems family owned, the waitress was very sweet and nice. I had the chicken udon, must say it was delicious !! Best I've had !!

I'm a fan of the original suehiro in little Tokyo, say they're closing due to their bad landlord. Went in today for noodles and three bowls of noodles took 75 minutes. One order was an order for a toddler and the order came out way too hot. I'll come back again and revise my review once they get settled into their relatively new location, but the workflow needs optimization.

Food is really great. They also have very good vegan options. Parking is tricky.

めっちゃうまい, so good! Tastes like your Japanese mother serving you dinner.

Pretty decent Japanese restaurant in ChinaTown with affordable price. They have lunch special on weekdays, but you might need to pay extra for toppings or meat options. The lunch special menu in the restaurant might not be accurate. I tried calling to order lunch specials a couple weeks ago, and they told me different special dishes compared to the ones I saw in the restaurant.

Great classic japanese diner in the neighborhood, for the price it is consistently very good regardless of what you get. Service is awesome, and overall cozy atmosphere. The original suehiro is an old establishment and they deserve your business. Love the lunch special, limited menu for around 10$ you can get a full meal, even comes with a miso soup. The vegan tomato ramen is pretty unique also!
