Before
making
the
reservation
on
the
Travelodge,
I
read
the
reviews
on
the
website.
It
only
appeared
two
reasonably
good
ones,
one
stating
that
it
was
a
cozy
night
and
the
other
one
about
the
ice
problem.
So
I
decided
to
make
the
reservation
for
only
one
night.
The
only
reason
why
I
picked
this
location
was
that
it
was
close
to
my
parent's
house,
and
I
didn't
want
to
be
driving
a
long
distance
coming
back
late
at
night.
We
stayed
at
this
exact
location
a
few
years
back,
and
the
stay
was
reasonable.
I
checked
in
on
3/19/22,
around
3:34
pm;
the
lobby
looked
clean
with
professional
customer
service.
I
asked
for
a
second-floor
room;
the
clerk
mentioned
that
since
I
have
a
child,
I
would
like
to
be
bottom
floor,
and
I
told
her
we
were
coming
to
sleep;
therefore,
my
7-year-old
son
would
be
sleeping
and
not
walking
and
jumping
and
disturbing
the
guests
downstairs.
We
decided
to
leave
our
bags
in
our
room
and
see
where
we
were
sleeping.
As
I
opened
the
door,
the
room
reeked
of
cigarettes,
basically
an
ashtray
in
Las
Vegas.
So
I
returned
to
the
office
and
complained,
and
the
clerk
told
me
that
side
of
the
building
smells
like
cigarettes
naturally.
I
said,
"
So
that's
the
smoking
side,
and
she
said
all
rooms
are
nonsmoking.
The
clerk
said
the
whole
hotel
was
booked,
and
there's
only
one
more
room
left.
Common
sense,
I
asked,
so
what
if
the
room
smells
like
an
ashtray?
Then
she
said
I
don't
worry;
I
will
give
you
some
air
freshener.
This
room
on
the
second
floor
did
not
smell.
It
looked
like
an
okay
appearance,
so
we
dropped
our
bags
and
left.
We
drove
back
to
the
hotel
around
11
pm.
The
parking
lot
was
filled
with
cars.
Luckily,
we
found
some
parking
space.
As
we
entered
our
room
and
entered
the
restroom,
I
noticed
some
mold
around
the
tub
and
floor
and
the
edges
of
the
wall
with
dirt;
the
walls
were
filthy.
They
were
never
clean,
with
brown
stains
and
water
splashes
or
urine.
I
have
never
seen
a
dirty
room
like
that,
the
towels
appeared
clean
the
shower
curtain,
but
after
inspecting,
I
found
some
hairs
assuming
from
the
other
guests.
The
sink
was
barely
clean,
the
wall
edges
of
the
room
dusty,
the
walls
were
never
wiped
down.
They
were
footprints
on
the
ceiling;
the
sheets
and
blankets
had
cigarette
butts;
the
phone
in
the
room
was
dirty
and
dirty
with
some
white
stains
on
top
I
did
not
want
to
investigate.
The
only
clean
thing
was
the
inside
of
the
drawers,
and
I
did
not
find
a
bible,
so
I
was
disappointed.
I
ripped/stripped
all
the
blankets
sheets
off
the
bed
and
pillows.
Lucky
the
mattress
had
no
bloodstains.
We
were
tired
and
didn't
want
to
be
looking
for
another
hotel,
so
we
decided
to
stay.
The
bed
was
surprisingly
comfortable,
so
I
gave
it
only
three
stars.
Honestly,
I
have
never
seen
a
hotel
room
this
dirty.
I'm
not
a
clean
freak,
but
come
on,
at
least
clean
the
walls
once
in
a
while,
paint
the
room,
shampoo
the
carpet.
The
carpet
close
to
the
bed
smelled
like
feet.
I
kept
thinking
it
was
my
son's
shoes,
but
it
was
the
carpet.
For
the
night,
I
paid
$150.
It
should
be
the
opposite
pay
$100
to
sleep
in
the
room.
I
would
not
ever
come
back
to
this
hotel,
Travelodge.
