Very comfortable rooms. Clean and neat. Coffee available in room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. The only downside is that there are not any restaurants within close walking distance. Excellent pizza options available for delivery. Left car there while on cruise and had no issues.

My partner and I stayed here the night before our Royal Caribbean Cruise. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet. Also, the Royal Caribbean Cruise terminal is only a 20 min downhill walk from the motel. Great value for your dollar.

Driving in from Arizona was going on the Norwegian Cruise out of the port of Los Angeles. Parking at the port was very expensive. I called into the All Star Inn because it was referred by a friend. They were able to accommodate parking at a fraction of the price. I spoke to Sam and he was very kind and helpful. Upon check In Sam helped advise us on where to go and what areas to avoid. Recommended a few restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner near by and they were all amazing. There was even a nice little taco stand outside my husband loved. They did a very nice job on the rooms; they 're basic but comfy and has everything you need. Bathrooms were fresh and had walk in shower which I loved. The air conditioners were a bit loud but they work very well. Cable and internet were great 100-plus channels and I was able to stream my movies on my iPad. I called an uber to the cruise like recommended it $7.00 that’s how close they are to the port. I returned two weeks later and my car was right where I left it not a scratch on it. I’m definitely staying here again. Your not going to get pampered like the large upscale hotels, but it’s a nice personalized experience.

Please dont fall for these pictures. We were in the room with the neon green wall. Our bathroom has mold on the tub, the sink, the light switch and the towel holder. The walls had fingerprints and dirt all over them. The baseboards were filthy. The door let so much light in it had no seal around it. The curtains were gross. This place is in no way a 3 star inn.!!!!!!!

I stayed 3 nights there. I was pleased it was quiet and clean. The employees were very friendly and attentive. Rooms look recently remodeled. Mattress was super comfy. The only downside is they only provide room service if requested and I forgot to hang the sign. But they were kind enough to give me clean towels and supplies when I asked.

For the price motel 6 would have been better. It is very run down. All though the beds where clean the bathroom had hold in it. Also there is no maid service. So we had to track down an employer to get fresh towel. There was 4 of us I one room we checked in at night and asked for extra pillows and they said no that they would being them tomorrow not happy about the at all. The area it is in is a rough one with lots of homeless people. So be careful when out. The day time staff was nice. Though

Good rooms not to much noise either. Sort drive to the refinery. Both valero refinery and phillips 66. Grocery store cross the street and a lot of good restaurants to choose from. Bonus there is a taco truck right outside the parking lot.

Family and I enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were spacious and ac work GREAT!!! The rooms are also clean bathrooms looked new and sheets were also brand new. Staff is very nice gave us pointer for were to visit. For the price on a busy 4th of july weekend i was pleased with my stay.

Modest motel near the cruise terminal. It was a gem of a find very clean rooms. Reasonably priced had a good deal to let me park my car there while I was on the cruise. Bathrooms were surprisingly very fancy.

The outside of the hotel is not much to look at but the inside surprising updated, complete with a brand new Keurig coffee machine! It also has a microwave, heater/air conditioner and a TV. The only gripe I have is that the fleece blanket is thin and light, not enough for the winter time so I ended up using the heater all night long.

The rooms have been upgraded to be neat and "clean". For a two star hotel it was a nice stay. It was quiet, the floors are all hardwood vinyl which is asthetically appealing. The water is nice and hot. The air worked. Cons had to bring my own towels. None of the towels were usable except as floor mats. One of the sheets had a bad stain. The fridge wasn't cleaned in between visitors, but it wasnt dirty. It just wasn't clean either. The didn't clean under the beds but who cares. Overall a pleasant stay. They are 5 minutes away from target and a bunch of restaurants like taco bell, mcdonalds, dominos, ihop, etc. The sushi 21 might be nice, but we didn't stop in. 8 minutes from the san pedro marina. I didn't get good pics of the towels and stains because i snap chatted the piece.

I didnt like that the front desk has a problem with more blankets after I said my son dropped his entire water bottle on the ones they gave us. The room looked fine and the location was perfectly close to the beach and market we were visiting.

The check in clerk was amazing however the hotel had only cold water in the showers, fridge was broken the shower towels were the size of hand towels and so thin. When I complained to the manager she told me that since no one else said anything I was lying. Refused to refund or discount. She was rude. The room was dirty and the beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

Looks like it was recently renovated. Luckily there was a food vendor right next door. Tacos were delicious

Good. Convenient for merchant mariners. Gave me a discount when I showed them I was a USMM. No laundry on site had to walk to the nearest one. Good Wi-Fi

Our stay at the All Star Inn was great! We had some issues with booking our room, and they were so accommodating and so easy to work with! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Looked like a crack motel. Writing on the wall, paint splatter, furniture was torn apart and chipping, it was so much worse than the pictures which make it look nice. Made me turn off the lights in order to get my deposit back.

Within walking distance to almost ANYTHING you could need/want! Fast food, restaurants, bars, shopping, museums, art galleries, etc... Great location for staying.
