Fantastic food. carry out / takeout only, also they do have delivery options. We got the chicken curry mild and the lamb curry medium spice. As well as an order of original naan bread. Both dishes come with a side of rice, so you don't need to order it. The lamb was savory with just the right amount of spicy, and the chicken curry is such a delightful flavor It is easily in the top three of "the best ways" to prepare chicken. Truly, Everything is wonderful. From The service to the food. The only thing I truly miss though is being able to dine in this wonderful little restaurant. Yet I respect their decision for the change and they seem to have adapted quite well. They make up for it with their hospitality and their accommodating attitude. Providing utensils and plates, even waters while you wait. For when you need a good regular place for delicious Indian food in Orange county This is your spot. I suggest ordering ahead of time by phone or online. Though you can walk in and place your order for carry out just as easily.

I have never eaten Indian food outside which is this bad. Ordered Samosas (in which the potato stuffing - gone bad and started stinking like crazy). Aloo goby didn't taste well too. Shrimp biryani tasted like shrimp frice rice 😐 The green chutney had so much good color in it. Very much disappointed with the food. Wouldn't recommend to someone who is looking forward to try Indian food.

After went back and forth should We or shouldn't we have Indian foods for lunch? We finally decided to go for this place. First,this place was voted on Msn news one of the best places to dine so we all agreed to check it out. It was inside a strip mall near the different kind of restaurant and also Smart &Final. It looked small from the outside, inside there were probably 10 tables , but it looked cozy and well decorated. We came here during the buffet hours ; therefore, there were customers also started to arrive. The foods were looked very delicious and attractive on the displays. There was also salad and fruits right next to the buffet area. I tried some of chicken curry and rice they were good and the tastes were right on . The services were ok since he was the only ones to run from the front , he missed the most important things the customers needed. Anyway, most act I admired from him was even he was running and helping customers he also helping the homeless people that came in for the meals. He did it with pleasure and loved. He should be commended and praised.

Been coming here for years , it’s my favorite Indian spot ever, and I have been to so many all over. Best service ever too, the owner is a super awesome and joyful. One of the best if not the best. The chicken biryani was soooo good. The chili Naan was very hot, but it didn't stop me from finishing it. Not for the faint of heart. Love the owner and chef. Great friendly people.

My wife and I dropped in to give it a try when we were craving Indian food. It was late, almost 9 PM,and we were going to have e it for take out. The gentleman serving was very kind and smiley. We asked if we could sit and he was very accommodating. Everything was so good! The chicken, lamb, naan and the sauces they brought out were all so flavorful! Great quality, great service! We will be back soon!

Take out only. Aloo Tikki and Vegetable Pakoras were amazing appetizers. The sauces were great too! Really sad the curries were a bit plain. We use to come years ago as this was our favorite Indian restaurant. Maybe it was an off day? They didn't have lamb they day. Curries were a bit plain. But one the best thing about this place is quality still. Comfort food. Amazing customer service.

Best naan’s ever

While visiting Disneyland with family, both nights we ordered take out food from here. The best decision made!!!!!! The food is so good and the customer service was outstanding. Kamal was so kind, went above and beyond to make sure we got our food even though we ordered 15 mins before they closed. My entire family enjoyed the food . Second day, he even added two desserts on the house. Thank you !

Love coming here before and after Covid. This is our “Go-To” for Chicken Tikki Masala. They no longer have a buffet, only take out. I wish they would have the buffet to try other things without the bigger cost of buying the whole entree but we tried a couple other places in Little India and didn’t like it so we continue to come here.

I ordered for my boyfriend and I for the first time, Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was simply delicious!!! 😋 It included Samosas that were not too spicy and simply fresh, crispy, and with great filling with veggies. Even the rice was so delicious! I will definitely try other dishes from the menu in the future. Thank you for such great experience :)

India House's food is excellent. It truly tastes home-cooked. It is our favorite Indian restaurant. We used them for take-out for one of our outdoor parties with around 30-35 friends. The food was a great hit. Kamal help pack the food in large insulated boxes and the food remained hot until served. And Kamal no only helped load these heavy boxes in my car but also gave a dolly to wheel it at our venue.

Covid Update: Ordered through Google Maps online and it was super quick and easy, especially if your card information is saved already. My order was ready in about 25 minutes. I went in, and was offered a water bottle and my order was ready to go. Everyone was being safe, wearing a mask and gloves. Very clean and professional! My entree came with a house dessert and everything was a great price and so delicious. The garlic naan, ugh 😍 heavenly!

Ordered the chicken tikka masala and the chana masala w/ one naan and it was great. My order came with an extra container of rice which was on the house which was amazing. I'd make sure to order 15-20 minutes ahead of time because the food is cooked to order, the whole time I was waiting for my food the staff made sure I was comfortable and offered me a glass of water. Overall great experience and great portion sizes.

Although the flavor was good, the sauces and condiments are noticeably watered down. It seemed the restaurant is trying to improve cost/volume. ie: chicken tikka masala was quite watery and tamarind for the samosas was nearly transparent. Samosas were also soft and should have been crispier. If it weren't for the chicken saag and onion kulcha, I would may have rated my experience a 2-star. I've definitely had far better Indian Food in Los Angeles.

Drove 10 miles to discover that this is not a restaurant and there is no buffet. The owners are still pretending that there is a full COVID-19 lock down that must be obeyed. If you're traveling and don't have a place to take and eat your food, don't bother with this one. There are other Indian restaurants nearby which will start you in a relaxing setting.

Not happy with carry out only. I dont live near resteraunt and would have no where to eat the food. Indian food isnt really car friendly either. About 5 years ago...or perhaps more, I once dined in for buffet. All I remember there was a friendly server. Since then I went there twice for a brief visit. However, after 5 years I went in today. You would think the person would change. Lol same friendly service and kind and warm smile. I think the server's name is Kamaal and just for his friendly service it is worth the visit. We have 3 young children who are very picky eaters...and of course can't handle anything spicy. That being said, they love the chicken Korma and garlic naan bread. This restaurant has the best customer service and they always adjust our orders regarding spice level.

First time here,ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good,the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good. I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce,this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means,just too sweet for my tastes.

Been going here since 2015. Times change and people call on hard times, but this man stays true to himself. Kamal is the most genuine and kind person I've met in my life. He is constantly involved in charity work and feeding the homeless. I'm proud to have him call me a friend and if I have a son, Id want him to look after Kamal as a role model. Great food, great service, great family.

I've been waiting to go to this place for a long time. I went with a friend a couple of weeks ago and I loved the food. The ambience is great, the service is great. :) The starters are all great, and they have great sushi. :) A great experience for a vegetarian.

The food was decent. The main issue is that I ordered food at 7:49pm. They said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived around 8:15, a few minutes earlier than the expected wait. A couple was in front of me placing an order. Then I paid for my order and waited. The couple that placed their order got their food before me. I received my food at 8:40, almost an hour from when I placed the order. The guy at the counter was nice, but I don't know if I'd come back simply due to the lack of timeliness.
