Food was good but the amazing service that the gentleman at the entrance provided was amazing( the one who is at front cashier before you vet to the hostess.) It was our first time there and he was very helpful and informative. Kids loved all the goodies. My favorite was the grilling steak and salads. Will go again. Try going during the week when it's not too crowded.

This place is the best buffet ever. The staff is always ready and eager to work and tend to your needs. The staff is nice and respectful and there's always a supervisor on the floor.

This is a nice Golden Corral buffet! It's clean throughout and the food was constantly being replenished. My server Andrew was fantastic and made sure I had everything I needed. Dinner is the best time to come for the unlimited Sirloin steak. I also enjoyed the Roast beef, Pulled pork, BBQ ribs, Sides and Desserts were all delicious! There's no time limit and they have a large parking lot outside.

The food was actually delicious. Usually buffets are average or below average. But the food at Golden Corral was tasty! I went at a good time too because they usually get very crowded. My first experience was at another location and it was not great. It had a very long wait and so crowded i didnt feel comfortable eating or getting my food. I pretty much blocked that memory out of my mind. But this time was awesome! Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the ladies came and helped me out because i looked confused about getting drinks first. Told her it was my first time here. Super sweet lady! I will be back at this location!

I was so impressed by this place! There's such a huge selection and it's all so good! I'd say the only thing I missed there was hot fudge for the ice-cream but otherwise 10/10.Wait staff were very nice also :)

My family and I went there on 9/23 at dinner time. The person who was cutting the roast beef was racists. Refused to wait on me nor cut my protein. Another person in the kitchen told him something in Spanish and he walked over. Gave me a dirty look and cut the smallest piece of protein he could. About 1.5" round. Toss it on my plate and walked away. Sadly, people forget when they were treated like this. Now they do it to others and suddenly its ok. We will not return do to this treatment at this location. If this bothers you, then you should also stay away and make a statement. This isn't ok. As for the food, it was good. Location was clean. Items were stocked and maintained. Very pricey. $22 a plate and drinks were added to price.

If Could Give 10 Stars, I Would. From the time we parked and went inside, everything was very clean and free of clutter. As you can see from the pictures, we waited about 15 minutes to get through the line. But it was very pleasant. The cashier's were both smiling and interacting with the customers and so were the mgt team. We waited less than two minutes to be seated. There was 5 in my party, three adults and two children. Once we got to our table, it was very clean and the condiments/napkins were neatly placed. We then went to fill our plates. The food was great 👍👍👍 and was very warm. You can see from my pictures, very appealing and tasty!! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! There was a gentleman who we assume was the GM or AGM possibly. He was busy cleaning tables, sweeping the floors, sitting people while smiling the entire time. He made the effort to visit every table including. At one point, he and another employee joined in one celebration singing and clapping. We were very impressed. We live in E Hollywood and we will tell all of our friends and family. We will be back soon!

I went today to this place. I visit it at least once a week. I downloaded the app to get discounts. Every time you eat, you get points. When you reach 100 points you get a $10 off your total purchase. I like this Golden Corral because of the variety of food. As with many of these restaurants there's a problem. When you go to the grill and ask for a steak we'll done, rarely you get it to perfection. This is my only complaint and I hope that someday things change staff was very attentive and nice. Prices are high. For two adults and including drinks, I paid more than $50. As I mentioned about the app, you get a discount when you get 100 points. So, today, I only paid around $40. Most of the time you are seated as soon as you pay. However, on Sundays, you have to wait. Thank you!.

My first time coming to this Golden Corral buffet and let me say the customer service was absolutely amazing a clean family friendly environment with Delicious 😋🤤 Food. There is a variety of food everything looks so delicious 🤤 I had a hard time making up my mind on what I was craving 🤣. I Definitely loved the Salad 🥗 Bar everything was so fresh and very Delicious. A great place with amazing food and affordable prices you will not be disappointed on the other hand you will be full and Satisfied 😋🤗 A great Spot to go and check out for yourself...you can thank me later🤣😜. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Kids like Golden Corral. This is our 3rd one since moving from NY to CA. Service was good. Staff are attentive. Food was decent, but I do like the one in Ontario better for variety and for their pulled pork.

My first experience was amazing. The manager was very friendly and was serving drinks. The waiter was very attentive to us. I would definitely go again. The food was very delicious.. unfortunately I couldn't eat more hahaha

This is my second time coming to this restaurant in Downey to celebrate my parents anniversary and by far the best customer service we have ever received! We meet with manager Fatima and she was able to accommodate my party with little wait. Food was delicious, fresh, and steak is made how you wish to request it. Fatima gathered the whole team to wish my parents and congratulate them. Her customer service was hands down one of the best if not the best I have ever received in any restaurant. I highly recommend this location as staff members are polite and the location is very clean compared to other buffets.

It was good. I was enjoying the food unti l i noticed a roof leak. It was dripping next to our table so appetite went away. Kind of shy to notify Stagg I hope they fixed it. But overall really chill place for A rainy day.

Glad they opened after the covid shut down. So far their selection is great! Staff is attentive and courteous and cleanliness is great. Food quality is actually very good compared to other buffets of the past. Overall a nice place to get your fill or family outing!

The food quality from this Golden Coral location has gone down since I last visited before the pandemic had started. I had asked for a medium rare steak but I was given medium/well done steak. The honey bourbon chicken was too salty to eat but the pepperoni pizza that I got was soft & tasty. I believe this location needs to improve their food quality to bring back this location to its former glory.

I went to the location in Downey. eating out at buffets can be a hit and miss. However in the case the food was acceptional. Not overly seasoned or salty. It was comfort at its best in my opinion. The orange chicken was a wow! Not like I expected.. overall eating experience was very...good.

Was my first time here. It's like a sizzler or hometown buffet, with more options/larger variety of food, much more attentive and available wait staff, and seemingly very popular. Plenty of parking and seating is pretty abundant as well, though I could see there being a wait at times. Definitely worth a try with family/friends. As funny as it sounds, the green bean casserole here was probably the best I've ever had. Lol

Didn't expect much of it, but when I visited I found a nice and calm place to enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner (it might get a little crowded towards the dinner side) with your family or friends. The food is nothing special but good, and the buffet has lots of variety. In terms of the price, it is definitely worth it. If you are tied between going here or not, I suggest that you give it a try because it has many different cuisines in the buffet (Mexican, a little bit of Italian, and American). 1st time going to this place. The atmosphere was nice and calm (maybe because we went during breakfast which the place just opened). The service was good. The waitress was attentive to asking if we needed anything and also picking up the plates. She was charismatic and friendly. The food not so much. When it came to taste, it was well cooked and good flavor. I'll give them that, but the majority of the food was really cold as if they have been sitting in there trays for over 30min. Again we got there when the place just opened. They hardly changed the trays or try to reheat or kept the food warm. That's my only complaint. I mean if your going to spend $20 for each person, I would expect the food be hot-warm and not cold. Would I go there again, probably not. I'd say if it's your 1st time go and try it, you decide if its for you or not.

A down to earth place, comfort food and friendly staff, at least they are genuinely trying; as a matter I like most of their locations in surround cities. They are not perfect or not without flawed though, labor intensive as it is, with streaming of walk-in traffic and many grounds to cover, most of their staffs do make effort to make diners feel welcome, often turning them to repeat customers!

A friend and I met here for lunch , the first visit for both of us. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. An amazing variety of food was offered!my friend had regular food while I chose Mexican food. They also had breakfast and pizza available.

Been coming here over the years and finally tried a steak there the last visit. It was great and wished I had tried it well before then. The breaded shrimp is still probably my favorite amongst so many choices to choose from. We be coming back soon thanks to our friendly and helpful waitress!

Was excited to try it. Was in the area and there aren't any around the San Fernando Valley. I was not impressed. Service was good, they were prompt and attentive but the food was mediocre at best. Won't be going back.

It was good for Father's day, but to much ppl no respect for distance or share food, they Doble some trays= no 🥩 only roast beef too fatty.. love the fish pieces and 🍉,ice-cream. Thanks

This place is busy, but you never have to worry about food running out. The cooking staff are on it! If you have a bigger group it WILL take you much longer to get through the line. You will see many people cut in front of you because groups of 4 and less eat faster and Leave their tables much faster. Nice comfortable ambiance like you are eating at a family gathering. Very friendly staff. Great place to go eat your feel!

First time going to Golden Carrol and my family and I were very pleased. We arrived right before the lunch rush which happened about 1 pm which was perfect because I have small children. They had a great selection of foods and deserts. The manager seen I was kinda lost when I first walked into the buffet area, he explained to me where I could find everything. Super friendly staff! The reason I took one star off is because buffets really have to play attention to the cleanliness of the plates and silverware especially during this time, they need to improve in the department.

My dad and I went here and it was great! We both enjoyed our dinner very much, and the food was great! The only reason i didn't give them 5 stars is because i think the price for all you can eat buffet is too high. I'd like to go here more often, but probably won't because it's too expensive.
