My first time visiting and it was well worth it. The atmosphere is cute and there is outdoor dining for those that want a little more space! I had the waffle and a mimosa. The waffle was crispy and fluffy, a little on the thinner side but I enjoyed it. It was simple and exactly what I wanted. The mimosas are so yummy, and I could tell that it was fresh orange juice, because it had such a fresh taste. I do recommend checking this place out, and I look forward to coming back!

Looking for a good breakfast place while visiting Downey Ca, I may have found one. This popular local spot uses fresh ingredients to create their dishes. The food is good, portions are generous and all are priced accordingly. The French Toast was very flavorful and the bread was cooked perfectly, unlike other establishments where the bread tends to be a bit firmer (hard) which, negatively impacts the overall taste of the dish. The Steak and Eggs were good but the steak did lack seasoning and flavor and tasted a bit bland. The inside dining area is spacious, clean and can accommodate large groups. Outdoor seating is available should you desire. The painted wall decor is colorful creating a soothing relaxed atmosphere. The operational efficiency on how customers are greeted, seated and served is very much customer service friendly. You’re initially met by a greeter who directs you to a QR code where you’re able to view the menu and order. You’re then directed to a cashier where you pay for the meal (In advance, tip optional) and are then seated. Within 8 short minutes your food arrives table side. This process does have one distinct advantage, which, is your food arrives much quicker than most. The draw back, it’s already paid for if you’re dissatisfied. The servers were friendly and very attentive. I would suggest you arrive early since, it can get very busy. With that, other than the steak missing the mark, overall, I believe you’ll enjoy your dining experience here and would recommend this breakfast spot.

It's one of the best brunch places I've been to! Every time i come, i get something different. They are fast and efficient, you definitely need to try their dulce de leche latte 😋. I've tried the breakfast burrito, chicken and waffles, chili chilaquiles verde, the steak and eggs, and tried their mimosas! Flavors are on point. Definitely would recommend trying this place!

I love this place! Breakfast included the “Omelet á La Grecque”, I requested egg whites. This is a favorite of ours, so we have two plates of the same dish - one with regular eggs and the other with egg whites. It’s a flavorful omelette packed with fresh spinach, mushrooms, green onion, sprinkled with dill for garnish and feta. Accompanied with their famous hash browns that taste buttery and are always crispy on the outside. It’s a well organized establishment, order your food, and sit out in the ample airy patio. It’s decorated with greenery for a relaxing fresh feel. Parking is easy and free. Refills on coffee, sometimes the waiter will come around to refill or you may need to go inside to request a refill on busier days. I highly recommend Poached Neighborhood Kitchen for breakfast, there’s something for everyone!

Atmosphere is cute - especially the outdoor dining options. You have to order first before getting seated at a table, so definitely take a look at the menu before you get there to get an idea of what you want to get. Food was great. Would highly recommend. We ordered one of their benedicts, pancakes and yogurt bowl. My cousin ordered their avocado toasts. Portions are good. From ordering to getting the food, it was pretty quick.

We had the pork chop, the oatmeal, the green chilaquiles and the banana pancakes. Everything was delicious but the pork chop is a bit pricy

Breakfast-centered casual dining with counter service and indoor/outdoor seating. Delicious egg dishes including chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burritos. A carafe of fresh orange juice is a must. The line moves fast and there’s not much time to order at the counter, so be sure to take a look at the menu before you arrive.

We waited outside for a while before we placed our order with the cashier. I Ordered egg white veggie scramble and got an omelet instead. It came with hash browns and toast with jam. I absolutely loved the food.

Had brunch for my bday and Peter was absolutely Amazing!!! He was so attentive and charismatic giving my group and I one of the top if not the Best service I’ve had dining out. We indulged in the fruit with mimosas as we waited on our food that came out of the kitchen. Definitely recommend this location and You won’t be disappointed in the service or food.

The food wasn't as great as it looks. It's a fast food restaurant. The poached egg was over cooked and cold. They are definitely pre made. Coffee was good.

Pictured are the steak & eggs and classic breakfasts with fresh orange juice and spring sangria. My son and I enjoyed it. It's a cool little spot to enjoy a quick brunch. I say quick because they have a 1 hour limit to your dining. Which is enough time to eat. You order your food first before you sit down. It's best to pull up the menu before you arrive so you know what you want to order when you get there. Prices are ok. Spent $58 for everything in the picture. Hope my review is helpful. Any questions, feel free to ask :)

It's a great place, food is fantastic and I highly recommend it but if you want to eat and catch up with friends, do it fast because you only get 1 hour and it feels like they are rushing you out because they have a line waiting. Once they didn't allow us to order mimosas because we had "been there too long" and had finished our food...yesterday, I planned to meet with a client there, eat and discuss business but we felt uncomfortable once we finished our meal because staff kept staring at us. We were uncomfortable and left at the hour mark. Ordered the Avocado Toast and the Oatmeal, both delicious. I hear the steak and eggs are fantastic.

You stand in line to place your order and pay and then they sit you down and you wait for your food. The food was delicious. However you do have to buy everything separately instead of combos. The pancakes were so soft, filling, and sweet. They also had a few different eggs Benedict.

The line was crazy long but surprisingly our party of three was sat in less than 25 mins. Turns out you order your food with the hostess/cashier before you sit at your table. The prices here are very fair for the quality and portions of food you receive. I got the classic breakfast and it was pretty good! One problem was I asked for over medium and my egg whites were undercooked. My hash browns came out like mashed potatoes (which is simply a personal pet peeve of mine with hash browns) so I wasn’t a fan, but my friend liked them a lot. The fruit was super fresh and my bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection! The sangrias were really good! I asked the cashier if they did pitchers and they said no, they only sold by the glass. I was disappointed to find out later on from a server that they had some type of bottomless deal, I wish the cashier would have offered this as an option after telling me they don’t have pitchers. The dulce de leche coffee I got was phenomenal! My friend ordered a matcha coffee and she really enjoyed it. I wish they had other nondairy options besides oat milk, but at least they have something. My friend and her daughter enjoyed their food as well, which came included french toast. Servers and other workers were all incredibly nice and approachable. I love the yellow colors everywhere, the ambiance is laid back and inviting. We didn’t wait long at all to be seated, order, receive our food and pay the bill. I will definitely be back again and again.

A breakfast spot that really is a breakfast spot in Downey! Area: located in a shopping center where there is a golden corral and a coffee bean. With ample parking space and free :) Dine area: They have inside table as well as a big outside table selection. It's an over counter service. Order at the front. Then get your food brought to you. Food: food was amazing! Everything tastes fresh and yummy. I had the beef omelet my spouse got the avo toast. (Feta on a toast? Nice choice). And we shared the flapjacks. Price: Price for entrees and drinks were a little above average. Used to being a 20 dollars per person type of guy including drinks. Entree plus ice tea was around $25. And there flapjacks were entree price. $16. Food is amazing just sharing my opinion on pricing Service: all staff were friendly and attentive when called

Stopped by on Friday early afternoon for brunch with my friend. There was a 15-20 mins wait, in line, outside. Once inside, we ordered and sat down in their cute outside patio. Food (and mimosas) were brought out very quickly and everything was delicious. Would come back again!

The chilaquiles were great, we also had the House Benedict, and it was great too. The portions are good enough to share. The service is great and fast. Will definitely return in my next trip to L.A.

We came here for lunch and the food was pretty good. Nothing out of this world delicious but definitely tasty. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich and carnitas torta. If you can, mix the “chamuco” sauce with the ranch for your fries and OMG. Perfection. I’d recommend to make reservations prior because it can get really crowded

The food and service is great! Me and two others ordered a meal which was served relatively quickly. I ordered the chicken and waffles with an unlimited ice tea and it hit the spot. My companions ate an order of churro waffles and hazelnut chocolate pancakes which were also great. I recommend this place for breakfast

This place is fabulous. Five stars for the delicious food and overall experience. We got the avocado toast with an egg sunny side up. Their Orange Juice is freshly made. If you are a breakfast foodie you must stop by.

It was nice place to go for brunch. Not so crowded and delicious, and service was quick. I had short rib benedict. It was nice but one thing off was the gochujang flavor was dominating the whole dish. As Korean i love gochujang flavor, but this, i cannot taste others.

We arrived around 1 pm and had enough time to eat for a party 5 until their closing time (2pm). During this sweltering heat I would suggest having one person waiting in line and your group in the car. Inside seating is limited. You order and pay for your food at the cash register. Service was great , and I understand if staff working outside might be moody because this heat is no joke ! Onto food….. Well if you’re looking for authentic green chilaquiles this is not the place. However , I enjoyed the addition of pickled onion and radishes it brings brightness to such a hearty dish . I wish they added more green sauce and cheese . I had to ask for extra cilantro. Also the sauce is not spicy at all , i wish it was but that’s based on personal preference. My dulce de leche iced coffee was delicious! Milky and sweet . Everyone in my group enjoyed their food . Overall a good experience. Willing to try again .

For a name like Poached, the most forgettable menu item was the sparse poached egg Benedict. The pancakes were delicious, but clean the place up. Dirty floors and walls with napkins shoved under tables to level them off. Not impressed.
