This Costco location is terrible. We have not been back since June 8th, when one of the staff’s cart collectors t-boned my wife’s car with a long line of carts. Unfortunately, we are STILL stuck trying to get this settled with insurance and Costco. The staff was too impolite and careless to accept the fact that their employee messed up, despite the kindness and patience we have shown. The employee himself did not even APOLOGIZE to my wife, nor did he accept the fact that he made a mistake. The management and their employee, Paul, have been very shady and rude with this process. All we want is our car fixed by Costco’s insurance. For such a big corporation, you would imagine the staff would not be so worried about Costco spending this money that doesn’t even come out of the liars’ pockets. Because of what a mess this location’s parking lot is, and the carelessness of the staff operating it, we will never shop at this location again. If we cannot find a resolve with the company, we are going to cancel our membership and begin shopping at Sam’s Club. I would highly advise you avoid this location if you’re arriving in your own car!!!

Costco inside was fine. The shelves are stocked and organized. Their produce fridge was really small. Few veggies to select from. My low rating is mostly for traffic. This Costco has a terrible parking space. The lanes are narrow and people park and wait blocking traffic flow. The food court is inside but incredibly congested. It would make me nervous eating inside because of covid.

It's cramped, overcrowded, very limited parking, and always full of people, which makes social distancing physically impossible. And the staff members here were pretty rude to some of its customers. This was my first and only visit. There are more enjoyable Costco stores to shop at than here.

I‘ve been coming here to do my shopping because it’s close to my house. I’ve always arranged my purchases with bar code up in the cart, so the cashier can just scan them quickly. And it will be Costco’s staffs turning over faster. There’s not been a problem before. However, their staffs have been giving me attitude recently; they threw my purchases on the belts like they didn’t care, and they didn’t put my purchases back in the cart. I had to do it by myself. I didn’t come here to spend hundreds of dollar and received this kind of customer service. I hope Costco top management to read this review, and do some adjustment needed.

It's pretty typical for a Costco. My only complaint is the small selection of Kirkland brand liquor. I'd have liked to have bought a bottle of the Kirkland rum but couldn't find it anywhere. I've seen a much wider selection in warehouses on the east coast.

Are you aware of your employee Chris and how rude he is to your customers? Is it normally your policy not to allow married couples to shop together or would you rather they shop at Sam's club where they won't get harassed for a membership they pay for ?

Changed my 5 star to 1 star. 2 hours 15 minutes for tier rotation with appointment. They said 1 hour when I dropped off the car. Parking always hard to find. I'm cancelling my membership, going to Samclub.

What can you say, it is a Costco! This one is new enough that it is a good size, the parking lot, at times, not so much. I like the fact that it has an indoor fast food area. The store seems well run.

2.13.2022; WARNING for pet/ESA-owning and all customers: upon entering, the black lady—Kernosha or Kenosha pictured for your necessary reference—comported herself in a way that zero animals are not permissible inside nor on the cart itself despite having the small breed dog, a chihuahua, inside his carrier. After showing the ESA ID, she stayed silent thereafter, decided to contact the supervisor, Adam, and afterwards, she changed her tune on saying that the dog cannot be on the basket (when she communicated this notion wherein pets are simply not allowed inside). Why couldn't she express that the dog needs to be carried on the shoulder: simple as that rather than making an outlandish instance of it? As for the supervisor's help, who was better behaved, why have small-breed dogs on their leash when they can urinate within the premises? In that logic, it would be more sanitary to keep them on the cart and within a carrier in my case. With countless other Costco employees in the recent past, this issue has never been mentioned compared to this one, and I told her that she's the first one to conduct it, which she flipped regardless. Giant mistake in behaving that manner now that I have published her appearance for fellow reviewers. In general, the team messaging isn't consistent for every employee and I articulated that to both Adam and that short-sighted person who received valid, backlash from me. When I'm back, I hope this inconsistent messaging does not become unresolved.

Last time I bought it's $4.99, today $7.99. Whatever happens to the Ginger, I still have to buy. I can't live without ginger

Great as always, however, parking lot is too small and one directional which can be confusing to navigate through. Noticed that they have my favorite fresh trout in the seafood department which has been discontinued in many other Costco locations. They also have many other special products that are not available in other stores. Overall great experience. Thank you

Gotta love Costco and the deals! This review is specifically on the newish roast beef sandwich Great cold cut, bit pricey compared to everything else You can taste everything inside the sandwich but the bread can be a bit too thick but that seems to be the type of bread Overall 7/10

The Garden Grove location before 12 noon is pretty busy. It took me around 10 minutes to find and park my car. It was business as usual walking in the entrance showing my Executive Member card. I entered the store with a list I previously made. I had no trouble finding the 5 items on my list. Laundry detergent,. soft water salt, dish washer soap, AAA batteries, 33 gallon trash bags. I waited at the checkout line for less than 5 minutes. The checkers rang up my items quickly and I waited in another line trying to exit the store. All in all I was in and out of the store in less than 45 minutes.

I just had the worst experience, I pay for my membership and since Costco allows you to add a family member, that is exactly what I did. My sister and I went to spend our money at this location everything was fine up to dealing with Fatima, she has one of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, on top of being extremely rude in requesting our ID when purchasing alcohol which is clearly understandable because it ALCOHOL to literally being membership police with a enabling supervisor Jess. Instead of descalting a clear issue Fatima was having with a paying customer she added to her anger that clearly Fatima was having.if you do go to this location just be aware.

Self-checkout only has 6 POS positions, which is NOT enough positions. Last night there was almost a fight there b/c of someone line-cutting for self-checkout. This Costco is closest to my house but I usually drive further to a Costco I like much better.

Extremely crowded.! The majority of patrons had absolutely no patience and acted as though they were on a game show with a short allotted amount of time to shop. The only saving grace was a fairly quick check-out.

Day before Labor Day weekend. Store was busy as heck. Lines were really long and so was the food court located inside the store.

Business center has this mini fridge on sale yet it is out of stock. 4.4miles away at a regular Costco there is plenty in stock but it is not on sale. When I brought it up to the manager he stated that they were separate from the business center and that they bought the fridges from different suppliers. Wow!

This Costco always made me irritated after every shopping and adding gas. A couple of chronic issues have existed without any improvement by the management team for years: 1) the single entrance for cars to add gas and shopping is terrible. It needs two different entrances for both purposes; 2) the food shelves are always pilled up with empty cardboard without timely collecting by the staff; 3) the customers always toss the foods, and the rotten/damaged foods cannot be discarded more often from the shelves. Usually, the food was spilled over on the floors without cleaning up timely; 4) the Vietnam customer service staff was not friendly at the counters Return and Membership. Customer service attitudes need to be improved.

Costco Wholesale consistently offers a remarkable shopping experience. Their vast selection of high-quality products, combined with unbeatable prices, is hard to match. Whether it's fresh produce, electronics, or household essentials, I always find what I'm looking for. The added bonuses of their friendly staff and the ever-tempting food court make every visit enjoyable. It's a one-stop-shop that delivers on both value and variety. Highly recommend!

Love Ken in the eye department... but never ever able to call and speak to eye department personnel, and I have called 3 times unless I go through another department to follow up on their calls!! Love the various items sold but hate the rude people running into you with their carts really stops us going as much as we would like, and we are just down the street!

Costco Garden Grove is supposed to serve Asian people but surprisingly their outfits are always big sizes. I am not sure if they are aware of it or they don't want to sell to the Asian community over here. Not only Garden Grove, but also Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley.

I love costco! They always have great deals and sales. And the return policy is just amazing! And the food court is nice pizza or hotdogs and drink for under 2 bucks. New mocha coffee freeze is really good too!

The Garden Grove Costco is always busy. Trying to find a parking spot takes some maneuvering and some know-how of the layout. This Costco does have a big Asian influence in the products they carry because of the surrounding Asian communities. I love Costco and love all of the products they carry based on location. I am giving this Costco 3 stars mainly because of it’s parking problem.

A cashier named Melissa kept picking on us for no reason. I’ve gone to Costco hundreds of times and no one was ever this hostile. I don’t know her intentions but it might be due to the fact we’re Muslim.

Visiting from out of state to assist with a family member move in...so stocking up on a bunch of "new" resident items. The location was busy even at opening time on a Thursday but not jam packed. We found everything we needed and our checkout team did the best packing up job I've seen on a large order. The crew was very personable as well.

I love Costco but this is probably my least favorite location because it is always sooooo packed! Maybe pick another location if you’re pressed for time 🙊 It’s the location I’ve been going to my whole life so I know it very well! Great prices and love pumping gas here since it is on my way to and from work!

Always a great experience at Costco. Although this time the parking lot was crazy due to people waiting to get gas. A little difficult trying to park pulling a large trailer. Always find what we're looking for. Enjoy!

( 3 stars) The current economic conditions (May 2022) makes shopping at this location a test of your patience. It's best to shop here in the first 3 hrs after opening and 2 hrs before closing. If you're not time constraint then disregard what time you shop here. At peak business hrs. this location which has a smaller parking lot then other Costco locations can get congested with cars waiting in line to get gas and waiting for cars to leave so others can park their cars. This location has opened more self-serve check-out stations and reduced manned stations.

The pizza was thin and full of that orange oil on the top and bottom. It was so much oil the pizza was soggy. I had to use paper towels to soak up the oil and reheat the pizza just to make it somewhat edible. Even thin the edges was the only edible part. The churro was nasty. I have never seen a churro from Costco where one side is brown bread and the other side is white bread. It was flavorless. The hot dog was good. It’s normal size and flavor. But they must have ran out of buns because the buns were for the size of a regular hot dog not a Costco's size. I doubt I will we’ll ever go back for the food. Worst place to eat at for a Costco. Hell can I please get my 5.69 cents back.

One of the worst Costco experiences I've ever had. I came to return a laptop that wouldn't turn on after only 1 month of use. Customer service lady was nice, but had to get her manager. Her manager (Kristi or Kristen) asked me how I broke the laptop. I was very insulted she'd just right off the bat accuse me of breaking it. It's amazing tone deaf people like her can work in customer service. I understand if it's policy and I have to contact concierge to return or get additional service. But accusing me of breaking the laptop when it could be a manufacturer defect was highly unprofessional. Anyways, after a week of not turning on, and the manager accusing me of breaking the laptop, the laptop miraculously decides to turn on all of a sudden. I hope they replace the manager with someone who's more customer centric. I'll be sure not to visit this costco.
