As usual QUEST is the most prolifically amazing medical testing facility for blood panels and subsequently blood work in general. This is the place that offers painless blood work and really any kind of "work " involving a needle... lol I have been utilizing QUEST for such a long time now and my experience is consistently the same... professional and polite and virtually painless. This experience was absolutely no exception.

Today is Monday April 18th I made an appointment for a blood test a week before this day for 11 am. I get to the lab at 10:30 this morning sign in and it states that I have no appointment. I tried it three times. There is nobody whatsoever up in the front to help anybody with the kiosk there's only two kiosks and a room full of people. It happened to me as well as others so we had to sign in as a walk in. I signed in as a walk-in, it states that I'll be in at 11:30. It was 12:15 before I even got in to see anybody. This is ridiculous you need to have more phlebotomist on hand on a daily basis with this many people that are coming in on a daily basis. PLUS there needs to be somebody out in the front to help people. I go there often and this is out of control it's very inconvenient for myself as others we all have a life and have other things to do. It is stressful on the little bit of people that are working there. Something needs to be done it was horrible. My phlebotomist was trying his best, he was very friendly. Chris Gallardo was my phlebotomist and he was very patient and explain the situation to me it's not fair to the employees that work there nor is it fair to the public.Something really needs to be done.

This is my first time leaving a Google review, but I had a truly bizarre experience today. After insisting to the nurse that I did not check in by scanning an expired insurance card at the check-in kiosk, the nurse accused me of lying and said that I did. In reality, I did not scan anything with regards to my insurance when I checked in, only my ID. (Why would I lie about that?) She pulled up an old photo that I took at a past visit to prove that I just took the photo to check in. It got to the point where I was even comparing my nail polish to show evidence it was an old photo. She even went to get her supervisor to “prove” that I must have just taken the photo and told me that system clears all photos with each appointment. (Apparently not, because it obviously kept my old photo.) Even the supervisor agreed that sometimes the system is inconsistent. All of it was so irrationally petty and strange, and we ended up updating my profile with my active insurance ID number. I almost let it go when my insurance was correctly updated, but the principle of being so flippantly accused of doing something I didn’t do didn’t sit well with me, so as I left I tried to clarify to her again that I did not scan a photo at check in. She doubled down on her accusation and when I decided to leave, she followed me out of the room by arguing with me in the hallway, which was so weird/ unprofessional/embarrassing! No way I’m letting someone accusing me of lying over something so random take my blood. People are seriously so strange and she should probably be reconsidered as an employee or given additional training.

I went in today for some standard lab work. It wasn't a busy day so they let me in ahead of my appointment time. The experience was quick and the phlebotomist was perfectly friendly. About 7 folks went before me and they all were received within 5 minutes of their appointment times. Make an appointment and you'll be fine.

I had checked in since 1:50pm and couldn’t get my blood test till 3:40pm. I asked them once at 2:50pm, one of admin/nurse said 1hr later. I asked the second time with another one, they said I can’t get in, we only accept the appointment although I have appendicitis and urgent as well as been waiting 3hrs. And they don’t even bother saying sorry. One word can be described is, “they don’t care”!!!

Very rude staff at this location. Was a completely empty lobby with an hour left before closing and was made to feel like it was a bother for them to do THEIR job. Instead of doing her job, she decided to try to insult me and be rude and thought it was going to be ok. If you’re having a bad day don’t try to ruin some one else’s day. Take the day off, it’s never that serious LOL. Or quit, no one is begging you to stay if you don’t like your job. Never met such rude personnel. Avoid this location if possible.

Horrible Lab. Got there at 11:58 and their doors were locked sign says they're open till 12:30. Another lady in line had an appointment at 12:00 and kept knocking and they wouldn't open the door. Finally somebody came out on their way home and only took the person that had the appointment, no walk ins. Said they didn't have time for it despite it only being two people. And it wasn't even 12:00. Ridiculous

This place has no hospitality and feels very dystopian. The waiting room is just 3 iPads for checking in and a bunch of chairs plus a tv for ads. One of the doctors came out while I was waiting and started doing rollcall. Removing people that were not there. Their wait times are an hour. What if someone went for a smoke or a call? Now they go back in and wait forever because they won't be called. Just set up an automatic system to send a notification or call saying you will be next. I think these people just don't care and that shows with a lack of a receptionist. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Website offers walk-in. Sign on door welcomes walk-in. I walk-in, 1st person in the morning, tech tells me next time I need an appointment. They don't do walk-in because they are too busy and don't want the people with appointments to complain. Management needs to commit to walk-in patients and ease the schedule or just say appointment only.

if you’ve ever wondered what a Soviet era medical facility was, this place is your chance to quell that curiosity. i had an made appt online, and was told upon arrival that they are running 45-90 minutes late, even for appts. fine; i went and waited in my car. an hour and a half later i got a text informing me that they were ready for me. i walked the 20 feet it takes to get to the lab from the parking, and was summarily YELLED AT by a russian tech standing outside: “WE TEXTED YOU 5 minutes ago!!!” so, i guess in their calculations, 5 minutes is more than 90 minutes. go there if you will, but dont expect anything more than a 3rd world lab.

This location has for some reason done away with its front office. There is only a computer to help you when you walk in. No one is there to answer phones (I was told there is no number to call). I wanted to know if I could walk in with my son, but there is no one available to help patients by phone or walking in! completely ridiculous! I brought in my young son (who was very anxious. It was his First time having blood drawn) and they didn't use a butterfly needle. they used a normal size. I'm so frustrated that the time wasn't taken to ensure his comfort. Also, The check-in computer didn't read my card, so he had to sit and wait for the phlebotomist to handle insurance/computer stuff. This would have been avoided by a front office. Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to LabCorp. They have humans ready and willing to help you get checked in and they are better with young kids. I've never had to ask them to use a small needle.

Avoid at all cost. Everyone that works here is rude and nasty . I literally was the only person here and they still refused to see me because I was a walk-in despite no one else being there. Everyone here kept saying they were about to take a break. It was Saturday and they were only opened from 7:30 am-12:30 pm. In the state of California you have to work 4 hours to take a break . So legally they shouldn't have been taking a break because they hadn't worked for a total of 4 hours that day . This place should definitely be audited by the state .

I needed to call to confirm that they received a fax of my lab request as my appointment is on a Saturday and if they don't have it, my doctors office is closed. "Press 6 to speak to a representative" - You press 6: "This key is not valid, please try again" and it keeps repearing this statement whewnever you press 6. So how TF is someone supposed to talk to someone to confirm they received my lab request? So stupid.

It is a clean, organized place, they are friendly! My appointment was at 11:10 am and I arrive at 10:45 am, and at 10:55 am it's ready. Recommended 🙌🏻

Came in to get blood work and barely made it before they closed. Normally they don't take walk-ins after a certain time but the phlebotomist there still took me in. He provided excellent customer service and also the blood draw was very exceptional. From now on I'm going to come here for my future lab work. Thanks again!

Don't come here, go to the Alhambra location on Garfield instead. This place is just poorly run. Limited free parking, long wait time even with an appointment, and large waiting room puts you around a ton of inconsiderate folks who are also tired of waiting there for too long. Staff was nice but after 40 minutes I got tired of waiting and left. Reschedule at Alhambra the following week which was way better than this location.

This is the best place to get blood drawn as a walk in. The one on green and the one on Madison don't have anything on this one. There is assistance for the visually impaired as well.

This office keeps texting me, thinking I am a patient, and I keep replying I am not a patient. They keep texting me! I even tried calling the office but it is apparently impossible to speak to a human being on the phone! It is the most obnoxious phone system I have ever tried to deal with! I live on the other side of the country, for heavens sake! Be careful when you enter phone numbers in your text system! I am not Jane, and why won't you let anyone speak to a real person, to try & straighten out this problem?

I have been to Quest many times and to various ones. This is by far the worst I’ve experienced. The phlebotomists there are incredibly rude, have ZERO customer service skills and act like you’re a pest. Never coming here again. The two ladies including the older lady with the dyed red hair were so unhelpful. 0/10 service

Fist, you need be on time. Second, you need be ready for everything. Third, you need to solve all questions/ problems by yourself. I was on time, but I did not know need to checking in by the computer machine. Specially that day only one machine worker. So, when I check in, the system shows that I was later for 10 mines; I need to reschedule other time. With the blood test, I dieted for more than 10 hours. From, 3:20 pm to 4:00, I was trying to get help. But no worker care. No Help. No body care the patient. No body. They just care to finish the job in this place.

Lucy is the best. She finds my veins very quickly and gets the job done without causing any pain. I used to go to the Duarte location for Saturday appointments but will start coming here instead so Lucy can do my lab work.

Have had blood drawn many times without any issues in other places as veins are very very good. This time here, the woman chose a big needle when normally they do not look that thick!! She looked like has experience. So just very odd chose a thick needle! As she poked, it was painful the WHOLE TIME going in whole time and then out, maybe cause needle was thick... Wow..she was REALLY shoving it in my veins...felt like torture as never felt that ever drawing blood before. Voiced all these to her and gave a ridiculous answer about not enough water and dehydrated🤣. But just knew better! Felt she knew what she was doing, using thick needle on small arm and shoving it in my veins 😭. You just know sometimes! She looked Armenian and long wavy curly hair. Just be aware. If looks like she may NOT be in the mood you may experience the same! No one needs to have this pain at all with good veins unless its intentional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
