A must try, especially if you’ve never had afghan food before but wanted to try. This place is definitely family owned, and the sweet woman working was the only one there. As a tip- I would recommend you don’t come here starving as the food takes a minute to get to the table. But don’t take that as a negative, the portions are huge so you won’t leave hungry. The lady was so kind and gave us a free Bolani, which is a potato and leek stuffed flatbread and it was crispy and full of flavor. Not to mention the spicy green sauce was incredible. We ordered the chicken afghan plate that comes with salad, kebabs, and kabuli (afghan spiced rice). And also the ashak and mantu, both of which are dumplings that have great spice (the mantu has beef). 100% recommend this little hole in the wall to anyone

Today, when I ordered for pick up, i found an error with my order. My rice plate was filled with yogurt all over half of the food, instead of side of hummus. When I called to inform/inquire, the woman said they were "out" of hummus and just swapped it for yogurt. The issue is I am highly allergic to yogurt so atleast she could have asked and offered any options. Instead of apologizing she simply said don't eat it and hung up. I was also charged for large fries but received a regular sized fries. Last time I ordered pick up from this restaurant, the son was helping out and everything was beyond my expectation. Eventhough there was a wait because they were busy, the food was good and everything was satisfactory. Personally, unless there are multiple people working, I am just leaving. Unfortunately the woman doesn't speak proper English and just doesn't care about her customers.

What a gem of a Halal Kitchen Cafe! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The service was impeccable throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food – it was a culinary journey to Afghanistan. Every dish was packed with flavors that transported us. The ambiance was charming, with soft lighting and traditional decor. This place truly captures the essence of Afghan cuisine and culture. Highly recommended!

Delicious!! We brought our Afghan friends here and it was perfect because we needed halal food. Not only was it Halal, but it was so yummy!! I would give it 5 stars but it was so pricey, I just wish it was slightly cheaper. (They range about $19-22 per a plate) The lady was very friendly and did everything herself! She was so generous and brought out a soup for us to sample because she heard us talking about it (that we wanted to try because a friend said they would make it for us sometime). The decor has lots of cool pics from Afghanistan and one special one of Mecca.

The rice smell bad I didn’t even touch. Salad was old. Instead of humus she gave me 2 spoons yogurt and told me to wait she will make humus. I finished kabab I asked her you didn’t give me humus she said it’s finished and she charged me for it still. She also did not give me chutney she said she forgot. The kabab seemed like she fried frozen kabab. I still ate kabab because I was hungry and that day I searched 4 hours for halal restaurant. The menu price is also very high. Overall the food did not seem hygienic to me.

The food is super tasty. There is a lady who cooks herself. She is seriously so kind every time we have been there. We never care about the price if it’s a little bit more because of her loving attitude. Sitting arrangement is enough for a family and parking is easy there. A real big Halal sign is posted on the main entrance. And you can see paintings and stuff there which ensures that its a right place.

If I could give them a zero I would. They accepted my Uber eats order and then claimed they never accepted it and tried to con me. What kind of a shady business is this?

I've been here several times and the food has been consistently delicious. Their customer service is exceptional. They are able to accommodate large groups on short notice. The food here is better than most high-end Afghani restaurants. You can't go wrong with the Kabab plates. The one thing on the menu I would suggest to avoid is the chicken gyro. It's super thin and dry pieces of chicken. However, the beef gyro is absolutely delicious and juicy. The sauce they use in their gyros is just the right amount. The only negative things I have to say is they need to upgrade how it looks on the inside and add bathrooms for customers.

The food is cooked by the owner Sadat. We tried the lamb bukhari and kebab platter which were both delicious and served in big helpings. The food is not spicy but they have sauces that help with that. Enjoyed the food and the host.

Good gyro place ...ordered chicken souvlaki plate, spicy wings, and Greek fries...meat and chicken were cooked well but taste wasn't all that impressive...wings were not the traditional ones.. rather it was fried chicken...still... good to have an additional halal place in valley to go to...

Came on a rainy winter night. The owner was very kind and welcoming. It was my first time having afghan food, and it was great! I got the ashak which are a dumpling with yogurt and tomato sauce. I was dinning alone so I just tried one dish, looking forward to coming back and trying more! Be prepared to wait a little as it is just one person doing everything.

Bless the lady who handles everything alone but that does leave a longer than average wait time. However, she was super nice, and the food was tasty. I would recommend if you are willing to have some patience with her

Such an awful place 🤮 The food was so bad and I didn’t get what I ordered. After eating it’s food, it made me sick 🤢 My wife and I went there and we both regretted so badly 😑 Please don’t go there and don’t waste your money. 🤑

Ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was hot, fresh and frankly one of the best I've had in a long time. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked on a fresh bun with their take on special sauce (similar to In N Out sauce but with more kick) The fries were equally hot and fresh and just like the first time I came here they were plentiful. Equal to 2 large fries from any fast food place. The lady who helped me was friendly and the food came relatively fast considering she appeared to be the only person working. I will definitely be coming back to try their halal food next time. I'd give them 6 stars for this meal if I could

I had the pleasure of dining at this Afghan restaurant, and it exceeded all my expectations. The service was prompt and friendly, making us feel like valued guests. The food was a revelation; the flavors were exquisite, and the portions were generous. The ambiance was cozy and authentic, transporting me to the heart of Afghanistan. Whether you're a fan of Afghan cuisine or new to it, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return for more delightful experiences.
