I had the top tier membership for 1.5 years. The location is great and the management was great and staff were always friendly, helpful and professional. Update: after having issues trying to cancel my membership, a team member personally reached out to me to provide a helpful resolution. Thank you to the team at maywood for your commitment to problem solving and professionalism.

If you’re expecting gym etiquete, DONT APPROACH THIS GYM. I’m disabled with a c4-c5 fracture and epilepsy. It’s very difficult for me to set up the space to workout. One day, I had an altercation over a machine a woman thought I was taking too long on and wanted me off, although I was only gonna use it that day and would not be able to do so for several weeks before AND after due to my injuries. She got the staff and I was kicked out. Later, when I asked the staff to clear a space for me to workout the way they helped the lady clear me out to give her space - they called the POLICE. I got my car towed and my membership revoked. The manager doesn’t embody what a healthy lifestyle leader should be or look like, but likely has an ability to make high sales. Most of the staff don’t have gym etiquette, and they cater to privileged folk. Once my family finalizes my disability through the courts, we’re coming to sue this location.

This gym is always so welcoming! David and Wendy are super friendly and approachable, always greeting people as they’re walking in and leaving. Staff is always maintaining the cleanliness of the gym and walking around to ensure all equipment is where it belongs and wiping down machines. I train with Luis and he’s great. He’s always pushing me to keep going and is constantly making sure I’m performing every exercise correctly. I enjoy having him as my trainer even though he kills me every time!

I love this gym because its so convenient and this gym has everything I need to get a good workout. I also really like how the gym community is really good since there are no slammers or screamers. The staff is really nice too, especially Jerardo he’s one of the nicest guys I know. If you looking for a gym definitely come to Fitness 19 and check it out, you won’t regret it!!

Where do i start?! Wanting to begin my fitness journey and all I had was questions and Diana Munguia had no problem assisting me with each one, and the amazing part is the knowledge she has (she told me she just began the job) which was a surprise to me! I thought she was a manager. Overall a fantastic experience with this young lady and i will CERTAINLY be recommending this gym to everyone I know due to the type of service and excellence shown. p.s I wish every store I walked into had an employee like this young lady, nothing but shining stars for her work ethic and integrity.

Ive been a member here at this gym for over four years and I love it! It’s super convenient since it’s close to home and although it’s small, it has all of the equipment I need to stay in shape! Wendy is always helpful when I come in and if I need her help she doesn’t hesitate to help me! If you come in I recommend you to ask for her!!!

The fitness in 19 was great and I loved how helpful all the employees are! They really did a great job with their customer service. It’s a beautiful place to work out. With all the equipment you could think of! I definitely recommend working out here!

Located in close proximity of much of South L.A. Staff at the front desk are super helpful & accommodating. Equipment is sophisticated & well maintained. Ongoing Classes also would definitely recommend.

Reggie was really helpful with setting me up here. He answered all my questions in regards to my membership and showed all they had to offer.

As I walked into fitness 19 I was welcomed by Reggie. He gave me a breakdown of the deals for Black Friday. I went into the gym not sure if I was going to be a returning customer, but Reggie reassured me that I don't have to wait to January 1st to start. I could start now. I came to enroll here bc la fitness is just way too crowded for me. I am glad I made the switch. this place is a lot more cleaner and the employees are really nice. Wendy helped me get started and I appreciate how helpful she was. I recommend this place bc even though it's smaller it's better.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now, but as of recently I got a trainer. David tamayo has been extremely helpful in terms of showing me how to actually work out. Really patient and takes his time in showing me correct forms and never makes me incompetent for not knowing something. I highly recommend this place, a smaller gym in comparison to others but the staff is amazing and really helpful. Shout out David for his help and professionalism!

Rate this gym a 10/10 highly recommended it. Been going here since September of 2021 and have enjoyed my experience here. Staff is always very friendly and so are the other gym members who are also here to work out. This gym is always well maintained and always clean. They have a huge variety of working out options which is something I was looking for and they’re included water massage beds are another thing that caught my attention. Will continue to keep going here and recommend this gym to anyone who’s already had experiences going to different gyms and also new people who are beginning to work out and need a trust worthy gym.

This gym is very clean and organized and the gym community it very cool too since there aren’t any obnoxious people or anything. The staff is really cool too here especially jerardo the homie. If you’re thinking about checking a gym out I’d definitely recommend this location

Definitely would recommend Fitness 19, this is the first gym that I feel welcomed and motivated. Wendy is amazing she was very kind and made the process go by smooth I felt comfortable to talk with her about what my goals are and she was very helpful. This is the first time that I’ve felt comfortable walking into a gym, very welcoming and I can’t wait to come back and start working out.

Great place to workout! I just recently became a member with these gyms and I like them a lot! Machines are perfect for me, plenty of treadmills to use especially if I don’t want to be next to anyone. I get in, get out and can still get on with my day. Memberships aren’t expensive and staff is very friendly all the time.

This gym is really awesome i come every morning bc it’s the least packed. The staff members are nice too. And the gym committee is really nice too. If you’re thinking about joining a gym definitely check this place out

Being here has been pretty excellent, in my opinion. It is especially cool that they have Zumba classes since other gyms don't exactly have that feature. The exercise equipment was good too. Never ran into a malfunction. The treadmill is smooth and you can't go wrong with their water massage at the end of your routine. It hits the right spots when you need it.

I love this gym. Now it is small so if small is not your thing then this gym is probably not for you. I on the other hand love that it is small and that the staff remembers me and greets me by my name when I walk in everytime. Wendy is the manager there and she has no problem talking to all the clients one on one if they require her help. I like this because I have had previous experiences where the manager is never around and in this gym this is not the case. All the desks are right there in the front and the all the staff are very active. Caroline is very friendly, knowledgeable, and patience when enrolling new clients. They also have personal trainers that are great, my mom and I have worked with Salvador and Pablo. They are both amazing trainers and have helped us lose a lot of weight. So far I have been able to lose over 40 pounds with their help since January. Now remember you have to put in from your part too to lose that much weight. I would definitely recommend this gym to everyone.

I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now and I personally like it. Its always kept clean and the community is nice. They aren’t stingy with the equipment. The staff there are also very friendly and outgoing. I’ve had my fair share of trainers and all of them are very kind and aren’t afraid to push you. I had Luis training me for a while and he always tried to push me to do more and now I learned a lot of different workout alternatives thanks to him. Would definitely recommend this place! :)

I went to this fitness 19 late at night and instead of a “why is he coming so late? He won’t be able to complete his workout.” I was greeted with a smile by a wonderful young lady named Carolyn! Than I began to workout and the clock struck 10 pm (closing time) I wasn’t quite finished just yet with my workout and I seen that Carolyn and another male coworker were beginning to clean. So I thought I would roll the dice and ask Carolyn if it would be possible for me to continue working out while they cleaned. And to my surprise she said of course just as long as I cleaned up after myself! My gratitude for Carolyn couldn’t be measured that night. Overall fitness 19 carolyn is an amazing worker who goes above and beyond with a smile on her face always ! She Definitely creates the type of environment that I feel safe and love to be in.

They have every machine you could think of, Tons of dumbbells and plates, a group class studio, a turf area. They also kept their outdoor area with lots of shade which is awesome cuz I really like switching it up so having the option is much appreciated, plus having the outdoor area frees up a lot of space, it's really like having 2 gyms. Lately I've been trying to take full advantage of my membership and use all the stuff they have like the battle ropes, push sled, tire flip and TRX straps. They also have trainers walking around who don't mind answering questions which is perfect if your trying to get your form up to par. For the price this gym goes above and beyond
