I went today for the COVID-19 test for my mom. They said I need to make appointment where it was no appointment needed for the test on the their google page. And then I called the phone no they had on the google the answer you need to make appointment otherwise walk in have to Wait 4 hour and I was ready to wait I went inside to make sure then the receptionist told me I have to make appointment I can’t wait then I decided to leave didn’t make any appointment. I was very disappointed... I don’t know why they post the no appointment needed.

Both Denise and Dr. Jiang were so kind and I was in and out so quickly! They answered all my questions and explained everything they were doing. I cannot overstate the professionalism and compassion they showed me during my checkup!

Called 18x no answer. Was trying to make an appointment for covid testing and ask for more info but how will you do that if they wont even pick a single call? Also it clearly states online that no appointment needed but just told i need an appointment. Misleading place i wish i can give them negative

Great experience overall! Everyone was so helpful and friendly which is very comforting for someone who does not have much experience with doctors offices and healthcare! Maria at the front was so nice and professional and Denise and Dr. Jiang were so awesome as well. They made me feel extremely comfortable and that is exactly what I look for. I will be coming back here for sure!

Front desk receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I was within the 15 minute grace period due to traffic but she denied my appointment and marked me a no show. She continued to rudely lecture me that I was late and past the time. After having to advocate for myself, they finally gave me another appointment but 2 hours later. They refused to tell me when they could see me. I was seen within 20 minutes even though the front desk made it sound like it’d take way longer (to probably discourage me from waiting). I’ve never had an experience like this at Carbon Health with front desk. However the medical staff was very nice as usual.

I’ve called so many times to set an appointment because when I make an appointment online it doesn’t actually set an appointment, and when I call nobody answers, and you can’t walk in for covid testing because you need an appointment even though it says online that you don’t need an appointment but how do I set an appointment if the online one doesn’t work and no one answers the phone???

What a joke. This is NOT urgent care. This is make an appointment care. I went in and was basically told I’d be here for hours. People that had appointments an hour AFTER I arrived were seen before me and the other poor gentleman waiting without an appointment. So for you poor saps that think you can go into urgent care, think again and make an appointment or you are just s out of luck.

This office completely scammed me! Told me they accept my insurance when I checked in, then after they administered several tests on my son, charged me whatever they wanted with my credit card on file! After several months of ignoring my calls , they told me that it was my responsibility & that I should have known they stopped accepting Anthem Blue Cross . Why did you take my card when I checked in if you don’t Accept it???? BEWARE

Went in for an animal bite. No long wait. Receptionist was kind. Medical assistant was thorough, kind, and professional. Doctor Shumaker was compassionate, listened, then took the time to carefully assess, then explain the situation and options. Loved the detailed explanation of my diagnosis and the careful way he planned my treatment. Really a positive experience. Very grateful. Will definitely recommend this facility to others.

Slow, and not at all helpful. I made an appointment today, came after work and was told that they will not test me because I have Kaiser. They also will not take cash payments either. I think there was some mention that if I was going to use my insurance then I needed to bring the card with me. So, I was kind of surprised that I could not get tested.

Worse experience of my life

Went in for work drug screening test. Had an issue with paperwork but rather than sending me away they found another solution so that I didn't have to make another trip to get the screening done. They were very fast and knowledgeable.

FACILITY: Very clean, very organized, NO long wait. STAFF: friendly, accommodating DOCTOR: very knowlegeable, accommodating, excellent bedside manner Appt: Very easy to make an appt.

I woke up with a severe neck pain and was informed by my teleconsult doctor to proceed to the closest urgent care for pain medications. We waited for them to open and expressed my problems to the receptionist since we didn't have an appointment. They asked us to fill up and schedule an appointment online before they can cater me. I asked if there's a doctor and they said yes. After I finished filling-up online, the receptionist went inside and came back to tell us to go to the nearest ER because I need a CT scan. The doctor hasn't even seen me nor did an examination and she concluded I needed a scan. What a professional way to diagnose a patient. I rushed to the ER and the doctor never requested any Xrays or scan. She performed a THOROUGH examination, gave me a shot of muscle relaxant and discharged me with home instructions. CARBON gave me unnecessary stress when they should've done the opposite. Never will set foot on this urgent care. They don't know how to properly manage patients.

We were a late walk in with my little daughter. Receptionist's made best efforts to see us. They were so kind and helpful. The staff and provider was very professional, I appreciate them so much five stars!

It was simple to make an appointment. Lucretia was great! She was attentive and patient and provided excellent information. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. The MA was efficient and took vitals and a quick history. The PA was patient and answered all my questions. Wait times were typical for a doctors office visit. Overall, I was in and out in one hour. They get five stars from me!

When I enter the door the inside so nice and very clean, the receptionist greeted me right at the moment even helping other person and Waited time to help me just a few minutes and I sat down looking around there’s 5 people a head of me and I thought I’m gonna be wait for long but they manageable they call me in 15 minutes. The doctor, nurses and assistant they are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable to explain everything to me the findings and results of my visits.. thank you to all the staff and I absolutely recommended this facility…..

My review of MedPost urgent care in Cerritos: Review Update 8/6/20 Once of the managers at MedPost just called me to address my issue and he was very kind and acknowledged my feelings about my experience, he was very apologetic and explained that the provider I saw was someone whom they contracted out to cover for the day and not one of their regularly staffed providers. I’m glad that he took the time to find out more info and get to the bottom of the situation, and he thanked me for my review stating that without my feedback they wouldn’t know how to improve their services; I’m pleased that they’ve taken the right steps to address the situation and to show more compassion. I will give this place another chance. Dr. G_ _ _ _ _ has terrible bedside manner and no personality, and I felt like his way of communicating with me was very condescending, which probably would've been tolerable if he had proven to be an excellent clinician, however, he accidentally tossed my nasal swab sample for COVID testing into the trash and so we had to do it again! What's worse is that, when he realized he had dropped it in the trash, he stood over it for about 5 seconds, hesitating to figure out what to do next, as if he was seriously considering reaching into the trash bin to retrieve it, and hoping I didn't catch what happened!! The next right professional thing to do is to say: "I'm so sorry we'll have to do this again", which he did eventually say this in his own way, but it was that moment of hesitation, hesitating to admit you're wrong in front of your patient and take the extra step to be reassuring, that bothered me. In fact, I actually tried to be cool about it, acknowledging that sometimes people just have bad days and make mistakes, but his manner was so terrible, I just can’t keep silent about this.

The facility and location that I visited today was staffed with absolute professionals in ever way. The intake was very professional and knowledgeable as well as the nurse that screened me. The doctor/nurse practitioner was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. He shared with me a plethora of knowledge and outlined a great course of action. The assessment was quick and very efficient. Great staff and extremely knowledgeable and professional!!!

I suspected I was positive for Covid Saturday night. I was able to make online appointment For early Sunday morning. I was in waiting area less than 10 minutes before taken to exam room. Had all vitals taken and then doctor came In. Great listener and asked lots of questions and then did more assessments. Ordered another Covid test and came back In 15 minutes to say positive result. Explained the druG Paxlovid that he thought I should take and had someone bring in the medication so I don’t need to go to pharmacy. Out of the office in less than 30 minutes. Third time time I’ve been here in 8 months and very pleased with medical care I have received each time.

My experience going into CHC in Cerritos was the BEST by far. The employees were all so friendly with smiles. I only went in for a TB test for work and Roxanne was the MA that took care of me , she was absolutely so kind , sweet and gentle. I would definitely go back if needed, and will most definitely recommend CHC to friends and family.

I had a good experience both times I have been there. I read bad reviews on yelp and was scared to come in but thank God all went well. I was in and out in about 1hr 15min. The nurses were very nice! And Dr. Schumaker, was very attentive and professional to my sons medical needs. Thank you!

Giving five stars because the doctor and the Christopher were great. The wait time and the receptionist rated zero stars! I made an appointment and still had to wait. I walked in, no one was in the lobby. I checked in for my appointment, and the receptionist told me I would be next. Then several people came after me and they all went before me. I was frustrated as my 3 kids we impatient and I asked why everyone went before me. She gave me an attitude, and of course me, frustrated, I gave her an attitude back. She said oh well and just rolled her eyes. Extremely rude. Thankfully, Christopher came out from the back and explained why they went before me. It was because they were not there to see the doctor. The doctor was amazing explained everything well to me.

I just came to grab some stuff & noticed this new Concept Urgent Cares. & I’m in disbelief how amazing this/these places provide & well organized it is. Huge help for my elder clients who live around this area. Thank you!

Carbon Health Urgent Care is such a warm and friendly environment. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable in there field of work. They make you feel comfortable and answers all your questions. I highly recommend Carbon Health to anyone.

I’ve been looking around for a PCP after moving to California, and Dr. Jiang is fantastic. She was prompt and attentive, and we have a rough plan for what to do with my health. The only complaint I have is that I had to get poked twice for a blood drawing because it was missed on one of my arms. Apparently my veins like to play hide-and-seek. Highly recommended!

They are great! Make an appointment but if you walk in that’s OK too but appointments go first - so make one. The facility is beautiful and front office and medical staff are real friendly. Coming back for sure.

Quick check in. Front desk was polite and friendly. I came in because my cold was causing my asthma to act up so the Dr. quickly gave me some medicine that helped me feel better within a few hours. He prescribed a few things I was able to pick up at my pharmacy. The staff that took me in to the back was also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this urgent care. I was in and out within an hour. Most places have you wait for hours and they don’t honor your appointment time.

Took my son here, he’s 4, almost 5 and very capable of explaining how he’s feeling. Dr. Christopher only wanted to hear how my son was feeling from me and kept shushing my son when he tried to speak. Even after asking him to please not shush my son. Doctor was very rough with my son, even with my son telling the doctor that what he was doing was hurting. Other staff was great, receptionist and nurse was so welcoming and great with my son.

Carbon Health has such sweet and friendly staff. The doctors are also friendly and take the time to listen to you and explain what is going on with your health. Definitely recommend this place 100%.

I went onto Carbon Health Urgent Care in Cerritos' website late yesterday evening, and was able to schedule an appointment with them first thing this morning without any issues. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was greeted and started the check in process immediately. My entire visit went quick and smooth, and all of the staff that I interacted with were very attentive and friendly. Coming from a hospital/healthcare industry myself, they have their processes and procedures down to a "T". I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care to friends and family without any hesitation. From the start of the visit at the front desk through the end of the appointment with Dr. Jiang, everyone was so personable and made you feel comfortable. I was a bit hesitant and anxious about getting back in to seeing a primary care provider and Im glad it was her!

Inside staff are great. AHMIT SINGH, AMANDA. AHMIT explains my complaint very thoroughly and in a way I can understand. No rush, no fancy medical terms. Amanda is confident and asks good questions. Today 06.18 Sunday, I was treated by the legendary Dr SHUMACHER. I feel good already. The assistant, CHARLES and KEN are competent and reassured. My issue is with the Front Desk. I was here last Friday, 06.16. Today the lady could not find me in the system. She went through the whole process - Insurance and ID cards. .

I am very happy to have discovered this Carbon Health location- the entire staff are excellent. Rachel was extremely friendly and efficient in checking me in/out. Andrew was extremely friendly and professional in prepping me for my examination and displayed great medical knowledge in my intake. Dr Jiang was wonderful, did not rush the exam, listened to all my questions and concerns and provided me with great medical advice and service. I will utilize Carbon Health in the future and wholeheartedly recommend their services for both primary and urgent care— they are the best

I'm delighted that I found Doctor Jiang, I can trust and feel confident about seeing her. I've referred family and friends and they totally agree. Great staff, very clean atmosphere and hardly any wait time. Not sure what the other locations are like but the Cerritos location is amazing. If you want to change doctors or you need a doctor this is the place to go.

It wasn't crowded when I was there on Valentine's day at 8:40pm. Everyone there was professional & quite nice. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet. I saw Dr. Scott Mastores & really appreciated him taking the time to explain when to use foot boot, how to use crutches, keep my foot elevated above my heart and to apply heat on my foot 4x a day until I can get into see Orthopedic Doctor. He even adjusted the crutches to accommodate me better & had my boyfriend come back in & suggest he do his best to offer me moral support while I adjust to my (temporary) new way of getting around!

There was no one at the reception desk for 15 minutes when I arrived. There was also no signage indicating if and where I needed to check in. And no signage indicating where I should wait to be called in for a Covid-19 test- in the waiting room? In my car? I understand that staff may be stretched thin and that did not worry me. I do feel like clear, well placed instructions should be posted on the door and in the waiting area so that all patients may remain safe.That said, all the staff were professional, friendly and the facility was very clean.

Online appointment system works well. However plan on still waiting I waited 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time.The staff is friendly and helpful. The doctor that saw me was very nice and tried to help but I was told if my eye did clear up go to emergency they also won't give work note so if you work for employer where you have to prove you saw a doctor don't bother with this urgent care go to emergency.

Online appointment is a must, go to their website before heading out to save your place in line and to reduce wait times. It's quick and easy, we got there 30 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time and we were seen right away. The nurse and doctor that helped us were really nice, and gave a detailed diagnosis. I didn't feel like they were in a hurry, unlike other urgent care facilities. For a Saturday morning, it was pretty empty, but that's not always the case, so dont forget to schedule online or call before you go!

WENT TO THIS URGENT CARE FOR MY COUGH AND COLD I WAS EXPECTING IM GOING TO GET ANTIBIOTIC INSTEAD DR. GAVE ME OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATION. IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY GOING TO THIS PLACE.

Worst urgent care. 1. They don’t pickup the phone. 2. Bedside manner of doctors and PA are very rude. They don’t even listen to everything you have to say. Too much in a hurry to get you out with a new patient coming in. 3. They gave me a non-generic prescription that my pharmacy cannot fill. The pharmacy tried calling them for generic version and no one picked up the the phone. Had to drive back there and get an updated prescription. 4. Got a corona virus test. It’s been 8 days and still no test results. Since they don’t pick up the phone I have to drive there to find out what the test results are. If they even have the results. I keep checking Quest and the results are not there.

I had to go to here on Mother's day after my domestic house cat attacked me pretty bad. I was worried at first because of the "covid19 thing" but Im glad I went, to my surprise there was no other patients waiting, I was actually the only one. The place was very clean, all staff had on masks and it felt safe. After checking in I was called within 10 minutes, the nurse was very nice she cleaned up my wounds then the doctor checked me out again he was very nice and understanding , then the nurse ,very gently cleaned me up and put bandages, I was given a shot and antibiotics amd was told to came back in 3 days for a check up.. I went 5 days later for a checkup with an appointment, this time it was very busy which made me a bit nervous but I checked in anyway and the front desk girl said I can wait in my car and when my turn is ready she will text me, I felt more comfortable that way. So it tiok 45 min for my turn, I went straight to the room and waited about 20 minutes for the doctor (a liitle too long to wait) he checked me out said everything looks nice. I would come here again if I needed to. 👍

I went to this urgent care for ear problem. staff was excellent. Waited 40 min. as i was walk in. Not bad at all. Doctor was amazing. i got diagnosed correctly and she proscribe me medication. Excellent experience

Waited over an Hour and an half just to be told that my insurance card was inactive. That seems like something your told a few minutes after handing them your insurance card.

Joana is really the best she helped me so much went above and beyond to help me check in my son after having a really bad experience today at another location she made me feel better about my visit today for my son.

Doctor refused to see my 1 year old son with a simple eye infection. We weren’t difficult patients or anything. We never even saw the dr. We walked in, told the receptionist our son might have an eye infection, and she said the dr. won’t see patients under 2yo. Not very comforting when you’re worried about your sick, crying child. Very disappointing.

I came in not feeling well at all and the staff was courteous, prompt and very timely in getting me in to see the doctor.
