    What a gift Village Fitness has been to me. They helped me move again after having been stuck in grief and chronic illness. I've gained strength (as in I can see my muscles!) through the workouts that are taught by highly skilled coaches. I never knew strength training could be so fun and effective. What I've learned and experienced here has had a ripple effect on every area of my life. VF also is super educational about healthful nutrition. Each month we have a habit to focus on, with accountability. If you come here, expect to be challenged, but to not be alone in the challenge. These people partner with you and are passionate about celebrating the strength in each of us. Sometimes it does take a Village!

    I joined Village Fitness in August 2023 and I am so happy of this decision as I feel so much better and it has also helped me with my weight loss plan and strengthening my core. I see the difference and feel great. The classes are small and the coaches are attentive to each participating member. The entire staff at Village are so friendly and helpful. 💯 ❤️

    Village fitness and physical therapy is the best place to exercise, loss weight and get stronger. Friendly coaches who assist and teach everyone according to your level of strength and ability. I have been going there 2-3 times a week for the past year and i have gotten so much stronger. Great place to workout no matter what age. I highly recommend The Village fitness and therapy to start your journey of better living.

    I have been in small group training at Village for just over 1 year. I feel so much stronger & my endurance has improved dramatically. The combination of small group training & nutrition had me down about 13lbs after my first 12 week program. Since then, I have kept the weight off & become stronger and more confident in my physical capabilities. I can keep up with my teenagers! The coaches are so knowledgeable & so excellent at what they do that I don’t have to worry about getting hurt. I can push as hard as I want with the guidance & support of a qualified trainer. I have never felt pressure to do anything I was unsure of. The nutrition education has been priceless. My whole family is off toxic oils, eating real, whole foods and actually enjoying food more than ever. I feel like I have finally found a fitness program that is sustainable!

    Village Fitness is the BEST! I started as a physical therapy client, following up with workouts on my own at home between visits. After some family difficulties arose, I derailed and started struggling with motivation. After a free trial of the small group workouts, I signed up for a session, just to get myself on a schedule and have some accountability. My husband was so pleased with the positive changes he saw in me that he insisted I continue. I’m stronger. My balance is better. My stamina and recovery time have improved, and I discovered that at 58, I can SPRINT! The program is very well thought-out and doable, with accommodations for beginners and those struggling with previous injuries or physical limitations. However, the best part of VFPT is the PEOPLE. From the physical therapists (I’ve worked with two) to the coaches, from the lovely owners to the reception staff, you couldn’t ask for a nicer, kinder, more caring group of people. They have put together a great program to support their clients in all aspects of health and fitness. The past year has been a real challenge for me, but the best choice I made was joining Village Fitness.❤️

    Village Fitness has been a godsend for me since moving to Glendora this summer. It is set up to allow me to have an individualized workout tailored to my level of fitness while still being in a group setting. I have gained a ton of strength and flexibility and I’ve lost 20lbs so far. Plus I have access to the Physical Therapy clinic just upstairs. The fact that they know the fitness routine I’m on makes our PT visits that much more effective. It’s a great place to workout and get healthy!

    My wife and I have been growing stronger and getting healthier each week with the help and encouragement of Village Fitness! We are thankful that the the incredible team of professional coaches and Physical therapists have guided and cared for us, a couple that are in their sixties and seventies, for the last 1 1/2 years. Neither of us have been coached before in physical fitness by highly trained and educated athletes but now we understand the value of working together and learning so much more, so that we can develop healthier habits to grow stronger as we age. Our compliments to the team at Village Fitness for bringing a comprehensive program to our communities. We highly recommend that you explore the benefits of joining the team at Village Fitness.

    I wanted somewhere new to workout. What started as an intriguing option quickly became adoration. After one session I knew they were the one- I will never forget how I moved with such ease and comfort as if I never had a health problem in my entire life. Village is absolutely exceptional; rare yet uncomplicated and very accessible. So ahead of the curve in their approach to wellness! They teach you to be truly healthy by disrupting the pattern within you causing the dysfunction through their own remarkable doctrines: the Village Principles and the Movement Standards. Your whole life shapes up when you fully immerse yourself in these brilliant and potent teachings. Nothing in this world is more satisfying than feeling incredible. I’m just so grateful and elated! I can state with complete confidence that you will feel the way I just described if you commit wholeheartedly to the program of your choice. Best money I ever spent (being unwell is what’s actually expensive, in every possible way). I would be perfectly content being a lifelong client. As the saying goes- you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

    Village is the best thing that’s happened to me physically, I’ve lost 65 lbs this years between diet, working out at Village 3x per week and additional healthly supporting changes. I love the pace, flow and challenge of the classes, for the first time in my life I look forward to the gym!

    Village Fitness & PT has been in Glendora many years, and I have always wanted to join. I finally did aug/Sept this year. The first visit was a discussion on my wants and goals for myself and any limitations I feel I have. Second, how many days would benefit me and my goals. Third assessment for starting point for the different workouts to come. First session with small groups, and I felt welcomed and like an old friend returning. Other members new and seasoned friendly and helpful with different ideas. The coaches are on another level friendly, helpful, and genuine to support you to reach your goals and watchful of correct form with great modifications if you need it. They also offer nutritional support and classes on many different life challenges and what you can do to improve yourself. I recommend that anyone wanting more than a gym membership, you get guidance, support, and great direction. Enjoy everyone at Village Fitness &PT.

    Village Fitness is amazing! The program in place has helped me stay committed like never before. The tailored approach of fitness/nutrition/how to live well has helped me to lose 16 lbs. and 3 inches off my waist in the 1st 3 months! I would highly recommend it if you are like me, a mid-50 year old who felt that his health, weight, and energy were all declining and thinking there was no way to recover. The coaches at Village will get you to the place where living life feels young again!

    I’ve been with Village Fitness for almost a year now. I started off in the small group program which I liked, but wanted something a bit more focused towards my needs so I recently switched over to semi personal training and I love it. Regardless of what type of workouts you decide, you still get the same friendly, energetic, motivating and helpful staff. The team is great at helping you set your own personal goals and finding ways to get a good workout in even if you have injuries or other pains. After almost a year now, I’m more stronger than I have ever been and can’t wait to see what another year brings!

    From my first meeting with Dr. Matt and throughout the last 9 months of attending the weekly coaching sessions, Village Fitness has been delivering on all my expectations and high standards: from management to the coaches, they are consistently professional, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, supportive, personable, and always willing to evolve and learn from (and with) their clients. As a result of joining Village, my physical and emotional health have enhanced significantly. I have more energy, I'm wearing clothes I have not been able to fit in in years, and for someone who is about to turn 65 I'm ready for the next few decades of living life fully. If you're thinking about taking that first step, at minimum set up a meeting with Matt, Chuck, or Eric so that they can facilitate your decision and answer your questions. You will not be disappointed.

    I feel that the Village provides caring educated people who are the best in helping people to improve their life by learning to strengthen their body by movement and diet. They are encouraging ,motivating ,positive and kind . They personalize your care to meet your goal.My time at the Village is personalized for me and always positive. I did not know how to build my strength with all of my physical problems. If you want help in improving the quality of life then the Village will work with you at a very personalized way to improving your your life with developing strength, mobility and if needed pain relief and nourishing your body better. They promote a very healthy life style that they all live by

    There’s that saying, “You get what you pay for” and that’s definitely true at Village Fitness! I am in my 60’s and have always been very active. I wanted to improve on my strength and balance. I started my program this past October, and I have definitely seen an increase in these areas after 6 weeks. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with whatever you need. I’ve learned good nutrition and to live a healthy life style. It’s a great community environment. I’ve never had a bad workout and I always leave with positive energy to get me through the whole day. It’s totally worth the investment! Thank you Village Fitness!

    Village Fitness is a game changer. I reluctantly decided to join and had no idea how much I would love my time there. Previously, for the past 20 something years I had not joined any gym or had any specific regimen. I was dealing with daily pain and weight gain. After starting 2 times a week at Village I noticed my pains going away, my confidence in learning how to lift weights and that I could do hard things was growing. It has increased my confidence and desire to prioritize my health and wellness in a holistic way. To top it off, the staff at Village are like family. They genuinely care, they know our stories, they reach out and keep me accountable and a lot of fun to be with. I highly highly recommend!

    I joined Village Fitness in hopes of improving my general mobility, strength and energy. As a man in my 60’s I want to be active and have vitality. The smaller classes, being grouped with others with similar abilities attracted me to give it a try. Now, 3 months in I am over 20 pounds down, am so much more able to bend and move without pain and have much more energy. The quality of my life continues to improve and I encourage anyone to give Village Fitness a try.

    Village Fitness & PT has absolutely helped me with some of my physical issues (back, knee & groin). I had been to two other physical therapy facilities before I finally tried Village and the differences have been quite noticeable. One major benefit is that every time you go to a physical therapy appointment you are one on one with a doctor the entire time. The doctors are extremely up-to-date on what I would consider cutting-edge treatments and they are all very friendly. To be completely honest, I did have my doubts that their course of action would help my problems, but I trusted them and did what they asked of me, and they were right! I'm not going to say that my old beat-up body is back 100%, but I'm much better than it was before I went to Village PT. The important aspect of this for me is that I now have the tools (taught to me by Village) to continue working to get my body closer to where it can be for me to have a happier, healthier, and much less painful senior life.     I worked with Dr. Erica in Village Fitness in Glendora and I completed the Postpartum Program to address pelvic floor issues I was having. Dr. Erica understood how important and sensitive the topic was and her approach was very compassionate, kind, and educational, not to mention effective and absolutely worth the investment in yourself. Through working with Dr. Erica, I learned my pelvic floor issues were multi-faceted (pelvic misalignment, core muscles strength, breathing technique, state of mind, etc.) and treatment entailed addressing each factor. I was pleasantly surprised when I started seeing results and improvement after the first session. By the end of the pelvic floor physical therapy sessions, all issues were resolved and I had the tools and knowledge I needed to continue to build on the work I did with Dr. Erica. Dr. Erica and the team over at Village Fitness had an immense impact on my and my family’s quality of life and I will forever be grateful. Do yourself a favor and look no further for your pelvic floor physical therapy needs. Dr. Erica is the best!

    I had an awesome experience completing the postpartum pelvic floor recovery program with Dr. Erica! As soon as I started I was so grateful to have found this program and I recommend it to every postpartum mom I know. Although I felt pretty educated about birth and postpartum recovery, Dr. Erica taught me specifically about how the pelvic floor works and what it does which I definitely didn’t know before. She explained everything simply and clearly so it was easy to understand and it helped me target the areas she was talking about in our exercises and know why we were doing them. Having a professional guide me through exercises was essential to my recovery. I had tried online programs and doing YouTube videos myself but I never knew if what I was doing was exactly right. I know that this program helped me though because after 8 weeks my ab separation went from 4 finger width to two, I feel strong and confident in my every day movements, and my belly is passively flatter again. On top of all that it was fun! Everyone at Village Fitness was welcoming and encouraging. I highly recommend.

    I joined the Village Fitness small group classes after going through Physical Therapy for problems I was having with my knees. I was a cardio junkie, doing at least one hour of cardio every single day. During PT, Dr. Erik was doing everything he could to convince me to tone down the cardio because it was not doing me any good. He was also concerned that what I was doing might be contributing to my knee issues. He wanted me to join the small group classes at Village where a Coach could monitor me & correct any form issues I might have. I was scared to death that I would gain weight if I stopped doing all that cardio. He assured me I would not, but I did not believe him. I did agree to start going to the small group classes & found I really liked them (even though we only do about 5 minutes of cardio in each class). The Coaches are amazing & so helpful. They help me with my form, any concerns I'm having & encourage me to progress to heavier weights based on how I am doing. I have been going to these classes for over a year & have limited my cardio outside of the classes. And I have NOT gained any weight. Another thing I have learned is that lifting weights is to gain strength, not just to improve how you look. I never lifted anything heavier than 15 pounds but my arms were toned, so that's all I cared about. With the 12 standards that Village teaches, you gain strength for longevity. I never looked past how much I weighed & how my arms looked. I now know that building strength will help me as I age to be able to continue to do the things I want to do. I will be a grandmother for the first time in October & I want to be able to play with my grandson for many years. My 15 pound weight limit has improved to 40 pound overhead presses, 170 pound deadlifts & I'm improving the depth of my squats as well. All because of the Coaches who give everyone in class specialized attention. And the community of people at Village are awesome as well! We all support each other & cheer each other on. I cannot recommend Village Fitness enough! Joining the classes was one of the best decisions I have made.

    A few months ago I had a physical in which my doctor raised the dose on my blood pressure meds and told me I was pre-diabetic. After speaking with Dr. Matt, I signed up with Village Fitness and quickly realized this was no ordinary gym. In their small group session (which is never more than 8 people) I was moving my body in ways I had not moved in years. The coaches are very knowledgeable and very, very motivating! In addition, they have a nutrition program that has helped me change the way I look at food. In the very short 4 months that I have been here, I have gone from weighing 165 to 149, and I have cut my blood pressure meds back down to half. My doctor is impressed with the amazing improvement to my health. Village Fitness is a wonderful community to be a part, and I am happy to be on this health journey with them!
