We really enjoyed this resort. The food was great, much better than expected and spotlessly clean. Location and views are lovely, just make sure you get a room near the centre, if your not too mobile.

very well-kept and large hotel complex. We had a room on the top floor with a great view of Lake Garda. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool area is large and there are enough loungers available. Very good.

Very clean hotel and very well run. The friendly staff knew what they were meant to do and did it. The little trolley took me to watch grandchildren playing football and tennis (excellent coach). The local area is lovely and if you have a car easy to visit. We shall hope to go again.

Enjoyed our stay here. Yes, it's on a hillside so parts around the hotel resort are steep. The rooms were a good size and clean. The pool is massive and has loads of sunbeds. There are 3-4 restaurants within a 10-15 mins walk from the hotel. Garda is about a 40 mins walk away unless you use the free shuttle bus that takes about 8 people but they don't run early morning or late into the evening. Taxis were 15 euros which seems expensive for a 7min drive. Garda itself is lovely with plenty of restaurants.

It’s a really nice hotel. Lovely views from our apartment, nice little pool. Breakfast buffet is my favourite however the dinner menu I didn’t really like anything on there so had to stick to the kids meal but that’s just because I’m picky with food😂 staff are exceptional. One thing I can say is there’s always massive queues for the shuttle buses, and they usually only bring one shuttle bus down at a time 😩 Overall a nice place though

We had a great holiday, stayed in an 2 bed apartment with bed and breakfast. There was 5 of us and was plenty of room and everything you needed for self catering. Although we had taken European plugs with 2 prongs but all the sockets were 3 prong except the kitchen and a bathroom so we did struggle so i recommend getting 3 pronged adapters. There is bedding and towels and complimentary toilet paper but these are not changed are not replenished on self catering. Rooms had comfy beds, air con, dressers, wardrobes so place for belongings. The resort is spread over a distance up the mountain, our apartment was at the bottom near the entrance and the road is uphill to the hotel/reception which can be tiring in hot weather especially the steps at the top so anyone with mobility issues or small children could enquire about accessible accommodation. Also bare this in mind if you book a mountain or lake view, we had mountain but the lake is visible from the pool/ hotel or better yet its a 5 minute drive away Breakfast was buffet, same each day, lots to choose from but again not really rotation on choice. Pool is a perfect size with plenty of loungers. Its equal depth each end of about 1.45m. You receive 1 pool towel per guest and return at the end of your stay. There is changing room and toilets underneath the pool which is super handy. Pool bar has food aswell as drinks charged to room. were never in during the day as we had trips or pool days so it was really a base for us but made good use of the terrace in the morning and evening. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, there was always maintenance of the grounds during our stay which was nice to see it is being kept tidy. We hired a car which was very helpful, we visited many spots along the lake, took a trip to Venice and gardaland theme park. There is a shuttle service to garda throughout the day also We would definitely stay again without a doubt

What an amazing place, set in the hillside above Garda. Very clean and big rooms (we had a superior suite) with a view of Garda and the lake. There is plenty of variety of food, with a set menu to choose from each night, with 3 different starters/mains and desserts, 2 different options for the kids as well. Drinks are reasonably priced, but the wine is cheap and very nice. The pool was clean, and being an Olympic size, there was plenty of space to splash around without disturbing anyone even in the summer hols. There's a 2 hole golf course and a driving range, and golf clubs are hired at reception. We hired a car to tour around Lake Garda, which is a must, but there is an 8 seater minibus to shuttle you into Garda and back. Would definitely go back as so much to do and see.

It was our first time visiting Italy and we absolutely loved it! Poiano were absolutely amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing, the view was on another level! We'll definitely be staying at Poiano again.

So many add ons. Drinks, services, city tax etc. so many little bits that adds up in the end. A simple thing like no kettle in the room forcing you to pay for any coffee or tea, all adds up during the week. Nice place. But hits the wallet.

Attentive and friendly staff. Location has beautiful views. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Rooms could be a little modernised and plusher, but overall they were ok. Being from UK we struggled with the power sockets even though we had EU converter plugs with us, so unsure why this hotel did not have standard EU wall sockets? Facilities are good, with decent sized pool, Spa, golf, table tennis and young kids play area. Most young kids made friends and were just running around the massive space. The resort is hilly, so you'd need to be in good health. Although you could ask for their buggy service. They offer a shuttle service via a people carrier to the main town of Garda, which is very handy. However, it stopped at 7.15pm when we were there and so needed taxi one late night out, which cost us 15 euros. Food was of good quality with varying menus per day for dinner. The only thing I would suggest improving is to maybe have snacking food and drinks available for in between lunch and dinner. The pool bar and snack area closed at 3pm. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience.

Nice place. Great breakfast buffet lots of choice. Bar was good with often live easy music in the evenings. Felt the room needed more lights and more sockets and it lacked a shower bracket in the bathroom and no kettle in the room. 30 minutes walk from the lake but they run a free shuttle bus every 30 mins. I would return.

Stayed for a week was a lovely resort. But be warned if you stay in the self catering apartments they're not very well sound proofed and you can hear almost everything 😳. Staff are very helpful, but also be careful as the pool area is very slippery as we found out all to well

Staff all seemed overwhelmed with coach loads and therefore personal attention to individual guests was sadly lacking. In self catering apartments you will need to bring all your own cleaning products including soap, shampoo and dish washing. Shuttle service driver was lovely. Shuttle service ends early so you can’t have dinner in town and then get transport back. €15 per taxi ride each way to the local town. Got expensive. Good facilities at pool. Relaxing and quiet.

The Place was very good. The service, especially at the restaurant, was not good: too few vegan, gluten free options and no valuable dishes (the salad was untasteful). The pool was great with a wonderful view but it's opening hours was too little, I like if it open at 6/7 am and the same also for the gym. There's no place where the guest can have some late night talk without disturbing others

Absolutely stunning location 👌🏼 but sadly let down by the quality of accommodation it's in desperate need of updating, our junior suite was very spacious, toilet seat was broken and to have a public toilet toilet roll dispenser in the bathroom was very disappointing. The free shuttle bus down to the town was infrequent and only had 8 seats so we had to get a cab back to the hotel and down to the town on numerous occasions €15 per trip. The food service at night was incredibly rushed we had our plates removed from the table as we were still chewing our food from that course, and the food was average at best. Swimming pool was fantastic with incredibly beautiful views but the poolside bar was not the best. The bar inside the hotel needed more staff, the barman was rushed off his feet at times and needed more help.

Wouldn't recommend staying with a toddler. Visited in Aug 23 with 2 adults, 12yr old and 17month old boys. Plus side: Staff really lovely and helpful. Apartment tired and needs updating but really clean. Kitchenette doesn't have an oven but does have a hob, microwave and kettle. Pool and sports facilites great. Several restaurants a walk away. We didn't use the hotel restaurant. Not so great: Steps everywhere, even inside apartment and around pool. We had almost 40 to get to the apartment. This made it really hardwork with a toddler and buggy. Steps inside apartment and veranda which was directly open to a steep slope meant couldn't take my eyes off toddler even for a second even when indoors. Way out of Garda. We had a car so fine but would have been a nightmare with baby and only a small, limited hours shuttle bus

Location has great views of the lake. Rooms very basic. Service for dinner is slow. Menu is very limited for choice, especially for the children, and they only have one shuttle bus running most of the time. Even when they know there are a lot of people waiting to be picked up.

Lovely hotel and very modern for Lake Garda, with a spa (you have to pay for). I've marked down on location due to the fact it was posted as 2km from Garda Town and it's more like 3km, so beware if you plan on spending alot of time traveling the lake. The veggie options are very, very limited and food is average in quality also, something else to beware of, I'd plan to eat out once or twice as the restaurants in Garda Town are lovely from my experience. The staff, room, pool/view and layout are all very good in this hotel.

Good sized resort with 50 metre pool, tennis courts, beach volleyball, tennis courts, gym, spa with saunas, steam room, massage, treatments, etc and 3G football with flood lighting so the kids can play late into the evening. Photos are the view from our apartment balcony where we enjoy breakfast, dinner and watching the sun set with a couple of glasses of prosecco most evenings.

Great place to base yourselves for exploring the lake garda area. Pool is excellent, although only open 9:00 till 19:00. If you want a lake view don't get room c05, it has a great view of a tree, but not of the lake. It would be nice if linens were changed more than 1 in 10 days but the villa was perfect for our needs.

Old-fashioned style room, however the spa was beautiful and the pool was lovely and tranquille. The football pitches were lit till gone midnight, and there were lots of things to do (some at an extra cost)

Arrived 21st Sept and booked out 22nd. Location is 5km from lake Garda up a steep hill. Apartment are very basic, dirty and was so glad to leave this accommodation. Advertised as 4 star but would rate it as 2 star. Food at pool was terrible and courtesy bus only on from 10am until 6:45pm no use to anyone

Nice place. Big and comfortable rooms. Polite personnel. Food could be better. Breakfast is average for 2 stars ** hotel. Ask me to pay cash when I order from the bar !?
