We parked the car in a parking near the Church ( I don't know the name of the village) but from there we started the hike , there are 2 options: you can walk on the main road or through the path, it's beautiful anyway. Just watch out for the crazy mountainbikers you will surely encounter. In more or less one hour, you ll get to Punta Larici and you'll enjoy a beautiful view on the Garda lake. I personally suggest after the hike, is What I did , to have a walk in the beautiful village of "Riva del Garda" and get a nice italian ice cream😋

This place is awesome. We started our hike from Pregasina (there is a parking spot available for like 20 cars near the Church). I highly recommend this hike. Views just stunning. I did a marriage proposal to my girlfriend here :)

Beautiful views and stunning panorama! There are two main walks from Pergasina in order to get to Punta Larici: - "easy route" which is more adapt for bikers, kids and older people since it's a safer walk in the middle of a forest - "hard route" which has a lot of different viewing angles and spots but it's definitely not safe. There road itself is pretty narrow (50 cm to 1 meter) and is quite slippery. Would raccomend it for a little more adventurous people with good grip shoes! It's an absolute paradise up there! Don't miss it!

What a place! The views from there are absolutely outstanding! As we were short on time, I decided to drive up the hill through the forest, which was probably not the best idea, considering the little 1.2 Suzuki rental I drove (wife wasn't impressed) 😂 we managed though and drove as far as possible, to then take a 10-15 mins hike to the destination. The views made this awkward and slightly dangerous drive all worth it. It's just hard to describe how gorgeous it is up there and the photos definitely don't do it justice.

BE AWARE OF THIEVES The hike is amazing, but first I'll tell you the bad part. We parked in a spot just under the church. We thought we were so lucky to get the last spot in the area. We were gone hiking just over two hours. When we came back, we found that some thieves had broken a small window of our rental car and stole our bags. Unfortunately, we had more in the car than normal, since we only stopped to do the hike in between moving cities. They stole our purses and wallets, even though, too bad for them, I didn't have cash or anything useful to them. Just sentimental items that only mattered to me. Too bad for me. We called the police who came up and made the report. They told us that it is actually common. So for anyone that parks up near the church, don't leave ANYTHING in sight in the car. That being said, this was our best and worst day. Worse, for obvious reasons. Best because this hike and the view was stunning. We took the easy way up because our mom was there and not capable of doing anything too strenuous. She did manage to walk up to La Bocca at least. Once you go up above the Bocca, there are a number of incredible spots with amazing views over the lake. My sister and I took the more difficult route down. It was along the side of the hill, and we had amazing views of the lake the whole way. I imagine it would be pretty tiring going up this way, but we only went down. Definitely worth it if you're up for it. We started at the church. With the church at your back, head left along the gravel road. After about ten minutes of walking, is when you'll arrive to the sign everyone is talking about in these reviews. You can go left and up to get to the strenuous hike, or straight to follow the easier path. One of the best hikes I've done in the past two years of living in Italy. Just be aware of what you leave in the car.

THE ROOF OF GARDA LAKE Amazing place you must visit if you are in the area. The trekking takes about 1h to reach the top Cima Larici starting from Pregasina church, and it is enough to wear confortable dresses and shoes + a bottle of water. The road to Pregasina is really narrow and require attention by car. Also the car parking is not huge... The sight is breathtaking!

Well, what an adventure. By accident we took the difficult route but it was so worth it! At one point along the route (a bit in the beginning) you see signs to punta larici, to the left and right. If you follow the lane to the right, you take the "normal", easy route. We took the one on the left which sends you up a hill. If you follow the path on the hills you'll reach punta larici as well but it's quite difficult. You definitely need trekking shoes to be safe. But, for us, it was amazing! It's some climbing but we didn't have any sticks, just trees to hold on to and good hiking shoes :). Every point you reach is an amazing view and it gets better and better. We didn't come across a single soul. When we reached punta larici we realized we took the "wrong" route, and people looked at us funny because we were a bit sweaty and tired. We laughed as well when we realized there was a much easier route. We took the easy one back but were really glad we discovered this route because the views and experience was so much better. The picture you see is one of the many vieuwpoints to punta larici (if you take the difficult route)

Great view point on the Garda Lake. The trail from the lake level to the top is short but quite demanding. The scenic views compensate the sweat, though

Suppose it’s more beautiful in the evening, to enjoy the view in sunset colors. But I don’t know, it’s not easy to get to this point through the forest and the road to parking place is very narrow and extreme.

Visiting Lake Garda in Italy was an experience beyond compare. The first thing that truly captivated me was the absolutely stunning view of the lake. It's a sight that words can hardly do justice; the expansive stretch of crystal-clear water surrounded by majestic mountains is a feast for the eyes. The beaches along Lake Garda are nothing short of amazing. The variety of beaches available caters to every preference, from pebble-strewn shores to sandy paradises. Each one offers a unique charm and access to the cool, refreshing waters of the lake. The azure waters of Lake Garda beckon you to take a dip, and once you do, you won't want to leave. The water is pristine and inviting, perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or simply floating on your back while gazing up at the blue skies. For those who enjoy water sports, Lake Garda is a paradise. You can try your hand at windsurfing, sailing, or even kiteboarding, making the most of the lake's constant breezes and clear waters. Exploring the charming towns and villages that dot the shoreline is a delightful way to spend your time. Sirmione, with its medieval castle and thermal baths, is a must-visit, and the picturesque streets of Malcesine are a joy to wander. The local cuisine is a treat for the taste buds. Enjoy fresh seafood dishes, mouthwatering pasta, and of course, delicious gelato while taking in the lake views from a lakeside restaurant. The sunsets at Lake Garda are a spectacle unto themselves. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky transforms into a canvas of warm hues, casting a romantic glow over the lake. Hiking enthusiasts will find plenty of trails to explore in the surrounding hills and mountains. These trails offer panoramic vistas of the lake, rewarding your efforts with breathtaking views. Cycling is another fantastic way to discover the beauty of Lake Garda. The well-maintained bike paths that hug the shoreline provide a leisurely way to explore the area. The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as you immerse yourself in the local culture. Lake Garda's historical sites add depth to your visit. The ancient Roman ruins and charming churches are a testament to the rich history of this region. If you're a wine enthusiast, don't miss the opportunity to explore the vineyards and wineries that thrive in the region. Sipping local wines while overlooking the lake is an experience to cherish. Families will appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere of Lake Garda. There are numerous activities and attractions tailored to children, making it an ideal destination for a family vacation. Boat trips on the lake are a must, offering a different perspective of the stunning surroundings. Whether you opt for a private boat tour or a ferry ride, the experience is unforgettable. Lake Garda is a year-round destination. In the summer, you can bask in the sun and enjoy water activities, while the fall offers a different kind of charm with its foliage. The region's festivals and events add a cultural dimension to your visit. From music festivals to local celebrations, there's always something happening. The ease of travel to Lake Garda is a significant plus. It's easily accessible from major cities like Milan, Venice, and Verona, making it convenient for international travelers. Accommodation options are diverse, ranging from luxurious lakeside resorts to charming boutique hotels and cozy vacation rentals. There's something for every budget and taste. Lake Garda's enchanting beauty has inspired poets and artists for centuries. It's a place where you can truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and connect with nature's wonders. In conclusion, Lake Garda in Italy is a destination that should be on every traveler's bucket list. Its breathtaking views, amazing beaches, water sports, culture, and culinary delights combine to create an unforgettable experience that will leave you longing to return.

One of the most beautiful place I saw. Can be visited even during wintertime, that makes a different look but perfect. The way up from Pregasina takes a bit more than 1 hour, but does not require special technical clothes for hiking. If you start on time you can continue the way right to Limone sul Garda eg., but the options are practically unlimited. At Bocca Larici there is no bar or anything, be prepared with what you need. My little dog also made the way!

We took the scenic (hard) route across the mountain ridges which resulted in multiple viewpoints. Each one different from the other. Well worth it!
