We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon at Bibenda Assisi Wine Tasting. Nila is a sweetheart, so knowledgeable, and kind. We learned so much about wine and it was the highlight of our trip to Assisi. Great wine, great food, lots of laughs and pleasant conservations. If you’re looking for a good place to do some wine tasting and learn about wine from an experienced expert… this is the place for you. You will love every minute and you will not regret it! There is a wonderful collection of wine available for purchase. The next time we are in Italy, we will be back for sure!

What a fantastic wine tasting experience! We couldn't more highly recommend a visit. Stop what you're doing and give this fantastic woman a call. She'll take a reservation if you call ahead. She's from Ukraine but a master Somalia and has traveled around the world. She's collected soil samples from wine regions around the world and has the photos and the wisdom to prove it. If you're looking for a light meal, wine tasting, or just a great bottle of wine while you're in Assisi this is where you need to be.

A lovely place to spend the afternoon while enjoying local wine. Wonderful atmosphere with great opportunity to taste local wines. The owner Nila is very welcoming and hospitable. She is sommelier, very knowledgeable. We tasted several great local wines. Highly recommended! Thank you very much, Nila!

If you’re in Assisi and you’re into wine, you do NOT want to miss Bibenda Assisi for a fabulous wine tasting experience. Nila Halun, a Master Sommelier, shares her passion for wine and teaching. She’s passionate about wines and educating her patrons. We had an hour long session with her, enjoyed some fabulous wines from the Umbria region, and learned how to identify various characteristics. We also took advantage of some very good pricing on some excellent wines, and she makes the purchase/shipping process extremely easy. Stop in, enjoy some wine, learn a little, and feel like a member of Nila’s family — you won’t regret it!

What a delightful way to spend some time in Assisi! The wine was excellent. But even more than that the shop owner is an excellent teacher. She is warm, knowledgeable, and funny.... even in her second language. Visit and enjoya wine tasting. You will not be disappointed.

Wine tasting- What an experience! Nila was extremely an knowledgeable hostess and taught us so well. She provided us with delicious snacks and incredible wine. This was an experience we truly never would have gotten anywhere else. We would recommend this wine tasting experience to all couples traveling who would like to learn more about wine and food pairings!

We are visiting Assisi for the first time. We were lucky enough to stumble on Bibenda, a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The interior is stunningly beautiful, warm and comforting, stocked with so many rare wines. But wait makes Bibenda uniquely special is Nila, the owner and hostess. From the moment you meet her, you feel welcomed as family. She's exceptionally knowledgeable about wines to suit your palette. She also has an array of delicious cold cuts and cheeses to pair. The whole experience is, in my opinion, Italian hospitality as welcoming as you cpuld possibly imagine. Do not miss this!
