I
stayed
here
for
a
week
last
month
for
a
relative's
Birthday
after
previously
staying
at
the
Riu
Reggae
in
November.
For
the
difference
in
price
the
only
notable
difference
in
my
opinion
is
the
fact
that
Palace
has
room
service
and
if
you
are
looking
for
a
more
relaxed
atmosphere
you
will
definitely
find
that
here.
HOWEVER,
this
hotel
is
definitely
NOT
a
5
star
resort
as
they
claim.
I've
stayed
at
many
and
this
one
can
not
compare.
5
star
brings
luxury
and
although
at
some
point
Palace
may
have
been
luxurious
they
need
many
upgrades
in
the
rooms
to
live
up
to
a
5
star
rating.
The
room
was
very
mediocre.
The
beds
are
not
comfortable.
Another
part
of
our
group
was
in
the
room
next
to
us
and
had
a
privacy
curtain
to
close
the
bathroom
area.
Ours
did
not.
The
sofa
in
the
room
was
dirty
and
sunk
low
to
the
floor.
If
I
compare
my
stay
at
Palace
to
Riu
Reggae
Reggae
was
much
better.
The
grounds
are
clean
and
well
kept.
The
staff
is
clearly
well
trained
because
they
are
always
the
highlight
of
any
stay
at
all
of
the
Riu
Properties.
