Our experience was meh šŸ˜‘ ā€¦ Iā€™ll start with the positive review. The beach is beautiful and clean. The hotel raves about every room has a view to the ocean. Not true. I had to request a room change due to the bathroom not having a bathroom door and a huge palm tree as a view. We got moved one room downā€¦ at least it had a bathroom door and a 20% view of ocean mind you a huge palm tree blocking the view. The service from the staff was very poor. Many of the female staff were rude and would roll eyes at you when you would ask them a question. The food was also very poor. We ate some jello in these little glasses and they had pieces of glass in them. I went to the reception and management never came out nor did they show any concern. Iā€™ve have been to other Decameron resorts that have truly been amazing stays. But this stay I was very disappointed in many aspects of my trip here. Jamaica did not make us feel very welcome. The staff needs to take some hospitality courses to improve the attitude and the food needs improvement.

This review is keeping in mind that it is a budget friendly option and not a 5 star resort so expectations definitely need to reflect that. Food: Generally standard but plentiful options. There were a few stand out dishes throughout our stay and we did not go hungry. Beach: Amazing water, very well maintained beach, hotel location and amenities surrounded by beautiful blue waters all Around Staff: a couple of people stood out for service, but nothing blew me away in this aspect. Service was good enough but staff are very much on ā€œisland timeā€ and generally distracted by the locals. No major complaints though. Rooms: THIS IS WHY I WOULD NOT RETURNā€¦most rooms have an impeccable view of the water, we stayed on the Cornwall beach side and the rooms were new. Maintenance is a major set back though. We noticed a swarm of roaches by the mini fridge on our last day. It was very obvious this has been an issue for a while and honestly Iā€™m shocked there arenā€™t more reviews about this because Iā€™m certain it wasnā€™t a one off. Now I know itā€™s a hot climate and with food and people everywhere you will have your insects. But roaches homing themselves in your room is unacceptable and this is the only reason I will not return. Overall, great vacation and I would visit again if they took care of the cockroaches in the room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach but wasnā€™t necessarily impressed. The location is ideal, super close to the airport and fantastic view if you donā€™t mind watching airplanes land every 7 minutes. The rooms are decent (mini fridge was empty and only filled with beer and water when requested). Clean and spacious. I recommend eating at the sister hotel attached, thatā€™s where youā€™ll find entertainment and better food. But the beach and pool are better on the Cornwall beach side. Definitely book a excursion and venture off the resort for a full Jamaica experience.

The reviews of this place made me worried but I can say it was a good experience. I booked 2 rooms for my family they were nice, clean and modernize they didnt look old at all the staff was friendly from check in to check out. The food buffet style was not a huge selection but definitely had enough local and Americanized mix selection for breakfast and dinner(the festival was my favorite)They keep the beach clean. Also have live entertainment by the pool at night. The pool was clean! Also they have a sister hotel next door that you can walk to through the beach which is nice as well. Highly recommend one of the best places for the price! Also anyone needing covid test you can get it done at the hotel Deja for $25 u.s rapid test. Its like a 5 minute walk. You walk in and they help you set up appointment wt a wait time of like 15 minutes

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I have traveled all over the world and have never experienced such poor service. The day I checked in the floor in the room was dirty like they used a dirty mop to wipe it and day after day I felt that the room never got a good cleaning. Don't dare expect to have the appropriate number of washcloths for the number of guests in the room. Some days you got them and some days you didn't. I had to constantly ask the front desk. The pillows in my room were also missing pillowcases which I had to request and put on myself. The only day the room was cleaned properly was when upper management visited the property and then it went downhill again. The food was also subpar. The days they had traditional Jamaican cuisine the food was limited so you didn't always get any. The food also lacked flavor. As for the staff, some are nice but some are very rude. I only stayed here because a family member recommended it but I won't make the mistake twice.

Hotel is all- inclusive JamRock Cafe food is always different and caters to their demographic of customers. The bathroom is clean but needs to be updated; the shower is dated. Housekeeping, they need to remember to dust surfaces. Staff are polite, professional, and willing to assist at all times. I love night-time entertainment. However, I feel it is aimed mainly at couples.

I emailed twice for an anniversary package, when I got there they did not do it, they offered for the next day and I said no.We had to get changed to another room because air conditioning was not working. After speaking with manager D. Smith he found a room after saying there was none, but regardless he was VERY helpful, polite and understanding. A lot of the Staff were simply rude, others were good. The beach was wonderful! Definitely not a 4 star, but you get what you pay for, so for the price it was alright. Issues: Air conditioning in property overall seems to not be working well. No atm inside the hotel. Room smelled moldy. Both rooms had at least 1 thing broken and not replaced. Food is not being refilled in a timely manner or kept warm enough. No signs for meal times or dress code for dinning area. Too many flies. Needs Better entertainment or signs to let people know you go can go to the other Royal for that.

You can improve by having more food readily available at the buffets and restaurants. The buffet was always out of food and took a long time to get breakfast food like eggs, potatoes, pancakes, French toast, orange juice, cups, fruit. Ice at the bars was never available everyday until anywhere between 12:00-1:00. The staff was amazing but I would recommend the staff to not touch the guests when we are trying to rest on the beach just to get us up and do an activity. Spacial distance is appreciated. Hotel check in experience was the worst ever. And it was everyday the same experience when walking through the lobbies. We arrived an hour earlier then check in, 2:00pm and check in starts at 3:00pm. Our group didnā€™t mind waiting a bit but that turned into 3 hours of waiting because no rooms were cleaned and available still. Guests and their luggage were crowded inside the hotel lobby which made it seem poor and unorganized. Upon coming back from the snack bar to see if the rooms were ready, the front desk staff seemed very unorganized and papers were all over the place. They couldnā€™t find our documents to see if a room was available, so waited a little longer. Then when rooms were ready, our request to have two rooms side by for our group wasnā€™t accommodated, wrong bedding arrangements (asked for 2 double beds in each room, didnā€™t get that), and the refrigerator and AC were not working properly in the one room.List of "said" entertainment were posted at the lobby but little to no shows or entertainment was available. Drinks at the bar posted were made differently each time ordered. Inconsistency of drink ingredients.

No maid service for 4 days only on day 4 did they call to just empty bins we had to ask reception for towels no bed change nothing only good thing is the view. Should have water stations as maids rarely leave any. Over our 2 weeks stays had to go ask for stuff constantly. Staff say they will sort but don't. Toilet wouldn't flush 3 times, cold shower for 3 days. Would I recommend this place or stay again no.

My experience at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach was extremely disappointing. We arrived for check-in at 3 PM and, despite waiting until 5 PM, our room was not ready. What made matters worse was the complete lack of communication or apology from the staff. It felt like we were invisible, as no one bothered to update us or express any concern for our situation. This level of neglect is simply unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this resort to anyone. The entire staff needs significant training in hospitality to ensure a more positive experience for guests. To compound our disappointment, my husband is vegan. On the first evening, when we went to the buffet, we were shocked to find not a single item that he could eat. In desperation, he approached a chef at the front who was slicing lamb to inquire about his options. Shockingly, the chef told him he could prepare something vegan but only if my husband gave him a substantial tip. So, in addition to the cost of staying at this all-inclusive resort, they tried to extort my husband just to have a proper dinner. I cannot stress enough how strongly I do not recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay! I left something at the hotel and the front desk workers were extremely helpful printing out FedEx invoices, etc to get it back to me (now that I know how expensive it is, I will be more careful!) Food was tasty! Booking a dinner at the Jamaican theme restaurant was a highlight but buffet also good. Room views are amazing..definitely ask for a higher floor. Beach was lovely and good snorkeling but too noisy due to loud games at the pool...they are near each other so would be good to turn volume down somewhat for us old folks :)

Just arrived back from a holiday with my daughter our first time to Jamaica, Hotel was very good, food and service was excellent, the beach and outside areas were clean and always had staff maintaining them throughout the day. Only had one issue within our stay which was we were left without towels for 1 day due to a laundry delivery not arriving. Would recommend this hotel though as storys I'd heard throughout my stay about other hotels in the area made me feel thankful we were here .

I loved the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach!! I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but you shouldn't be! Staff was super friendly and kind the whole entire trip. I thought the food was really good. We ate at the buffet for most meals, but did try dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant. I thought they had a really good selection of fruit at the buffet and there were some authentic Jamaican dishes served! For the rooms, it was everything that we needed. We got 2 full sized beds, they were comfortable enough for what we needed. Room was very cool, which was nice in the heat! Drinks are a little bit sugary, that's my only complaint there, but I still loved them! I thought for the price of this resort, we got everything we needed and more. Also it is super close to the airport! Taxi was super cheap going to and from airport. You can also book excursions through the hotel, which is such a nice bonus. I would recommend this spot! It's a pretty small resort, which I enjoyed because you can't get lost! I would stay here again if I came to Jamaica!

Holiday weekend well spent! At first I was iffy, because the check in process was long and the family was growing frustrated. However, when we got to our rooms and saw how beautiful they were and the VIEW omg, it was breathtaking. The beautiful pool and then the view of the Caribbean Sea, was everything! Dining was good at the buffet, lots of options. Fresh fruits and vegetables were always available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dessert options were also good, the bread pudding was a hit. Their grilled salmon, tuna puffs and lamb were really good. I have to shout out Orlando the Fantastic and Renee (fair complexion). They served us with excellence. They were warm, genuine and went above and beyond to ensure that our family was comfortable at the times they were on duty. Generally speaking, it was a good trip and I'm looking forward to returning.

I am currently finishing up 7 days here, the staff are super friendly and the food is not bad. Location is great and the views are amazing. The beach is beautiful and the pool bars are fun and lively. However, the rooms are lacking a lot. Everything in our room seemed like it was functioning at a low level. The AC unit is in the ceiling above the entrance to the room, and there were multiple holes with very steady leaks coming from the AC when we used it (which is frequently as it was minimum 35 degrees every day). When we asked maintenance about the leak they said ā€œdonā€™t use the AC when the patio door is openā€. Even after we said, the leak happens whenever the unit is on overall, they brushed it aside. The hotel also had a shortage of towels for bathrooms. 3 of the 6 full days we stayed, we had to call for shower towels and it took hours to get them. We had to use our pool towels which was not nice. We also didnā€™t get toilet paper one day. They barely restock the drinks in the rooms even though it says the fridges are stocked when cleaned. As mentioned, the food was good but if you donā€™t go in the first hour or so, the good food runs out. The coffee bar was really cool but the snack bar lacks any real snacks. It would be nice to get something tasty or snacky at 11pm-1am when drunk. Overall, I loved the experience and the resort itself. The rooms were a massive disappointment, I recommend requesting not being on the first or second floor (we were on the second). We did hear from staff that the hotel prioritizes towels and better service to the upper floors, and the AC units on floors 1 and 2 are a big issue.

I had the most amazing time at the Royal Decameron Cornwall beach! Me and 5 of my girlfriends had a girls trip weā€™ll never forget. The highlight of the trip was definitely the staff. Thank you thank you to Nahzie, MJ, JJ, Jason, Arlando, Aldane, Kydd, Jamal, Godfrey, Gavin and literally everyone else we met and interacted with. Everyone was so welcoming and fun you could tell that the employees actually enjoyed their job and people and it made all the difference. Everyone made sure I was happy, safe and entertained at all times I couldnā€™t have asked for a better time. I miss everyone and made some great friendships with the lovely staff. As for the property itself it was beautiful and clean, the food was great, service was as quick and accommodating as possible. The view from the rooms was breathtaking at all hours of the day and the beach was beautiful and always swimmable. All in all me and my girls had the best time and are already planning our next trip back to the Royal Decameron. Thank you thank you

If you care about yourself and your loved ones and want to have a comfortable stay for your vacation, PICK A DIFFERENT HOTEL. The only good thing about this place is the beautiful beach but you could definitely get that beach at a different hotel because this one was horrible. I travel a lot and I have never experienced such poor service. Everything in the room was broken - AC broken, balcony door handle broken, bathroom door broken, poor draining sink and shower, broken shower handle, ants, etc. We were given a new room and even the new room had similar problems. On top of that, the staff seemed like helping us was a hassle. We had to call multiple times to get anything taken care of. Towels are apparently a hot commodity because we had to ask for them every.single.day. and multiple times because things were never done after asking once. We were given ZERO towels on arrival at 11pm and was told that they'll "see if they can get us some". The staff themselves I would say half of them were nice and welcoming. Otherwise the others either had an attitude or didn't like us for one reason or another. We were stared at every single day by staff and locals which was very uncomfortable. I truly believe that if my skin color was different, the service might've been different. The hotel is a major part of a vacation and it came to a point where it felt like they were trying to make us struggle. I have never been so disappointed. DO BETTER.

Wow, spent one perfect week in July. 31C but always a cool ocean breeze. Only 2 days of rain which only lasted 30 minutes. Ocean water so warm simple swimwear is comfortable. Not crowded and no waiting for everything. Every room has a balcony facing pool, beach and ocean. Clean beach, no seaweed and gentle gradual depth change so safe for kids and non-swimmer. Bring a swim mask and snorkel since there is a man-made reef just 50 feet off the beach with coral and hundreds of colorful fish. No need for boat excursion. Buffet restaurant is very tasty with lots of choices and daily menu changes. There is only one restaurant but is amazing and right on the water with beautiful sunset. We ate there 4 nights with a different fine dining entry each time. Lots of daily and evening entertainment. This is the choice place.

Stayed with family. Resort is beautiful, rooms are excellent and wonderful view. Food is also awesome a variety of different stuff to choose from. Alcohol beverage are all local rum and the only beer available is red strip which they should mention on the website. WIFI only works in the lobby or your room not even your balcony which I hated. Staff are very friendly and treat you excellent. The snacks bar is is okay butt most of the time they never have chicken :( There different types of activates every night which make your stay enjoyable

We havenā€™t even checked out yet but I couldnā€™t help myself and wanted to share our experience so far. There are hand sanitizer stations everywhere and staff clean your suitcases when you first arrive. Masks are worn in common areas inside but outside it didnā€™t seem as strict. My fiancĆ© booked this resort for a surprise 30th getaway and I couldnā€™t have enjoyed myself more! I read about superior rooms and Amanda at the front desk worked her magic and got us one! The room is just as pictured on the site, a definite plus. I love leaving the curtains opened facing the ocean to show the natural light in the morning, a much more appreciated alarm. This room gave us great views of the resort and ocean as well! We enjoyed the beach, water activities, pool, and food on this side a lot and the sister resort isnā€™t bad either. Coffee bar on the second floor is definitely a must! Almost forgot to check it out and so glad I didnā€™t. The bbq rum chicken/steamed callaloo/ seasoned rice/ bruschetta/ curry goat at Jamrock and Jerk chicken/wings at the snack grill were sooo good! We werenā€™t really into drinking but the ones that we had (California lemonade/ChiChi/WooWoo) were so tasty, though that rum punch punches back lol itā€™s so strong. All of the staff weā€™ve met (Tameka, Chad, Renee, Conroy, Maurice and more!) and run into on both sides have been amazing and so helpful with everything, even remembering who we are. I woke up late one morning so my fiancĆ© went off to breakfast by himself and the staff asked him if I was feeling okay or needed anything. Just attentive and bring a great vibe with them. We will definitely be coming back to this resort in the future!

Right near the airport, with scenic views and good staff. Balconies are fairly spacious and amenities are great! Food can be a bit bland on certain days, but overall we had a positive experience staying at this resort. P.S If you are walking by the hip strip ( just outside the resort) be prepared to have tons of local sellers come up to you and offer you anything from getting your hair braided, to buying marijuana and cab rides to ā€œ the best places.ā€ My wife and I did find this mildly annoying.

It was our second time back to the Decameron Cornwall! We were there on December 12-19th with our son (18). We love the Decameron because itā€™s a smaller hotel and so easy and quick to navigate everything around. The service is phenomenal, the staff are kind! Shout out to RODNEY on the beach, a kind and hardworking soul who is always at your service. Shout out to ANTOINETTE who makes the best coffee at the coffee bar on the second floor. She remembers what you love ā¤ļø and makes you feel special. In the dining hall all of the staff are courteous and kind. If I had to give one criticism unfortunately the food is not what it was before, it is delicious but repetitive and no sea food. In the past there was sea food and different meats but this time not do much BUT we are booked for March AGAIN! Thank you Decameron Cornwall for a great stay! See you soon!

The dining area customer service and food presentation left much to be desired. The cold meat, salad and vegetable area seemed to be a health hazard. Many persons who travelled with me reported to have loose stool or diarrhea by the second or third day of stay and they had only consumed food from the hotel buffet. The beach on the property is lovely and the rooms are well kept, but the food situation detracted from my stay heavily.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days 2 nights on a couple trip. I was very surprised how accommodating this hotel was as well budget friendly . All of the rooms are facing towards the beautiful beach and pools. This facility is all inclusive the food & drinks were amazing. The w staff were very friendly and I like that there were no vendors on the beach harassing too . I will definitely recommend this facility . Especially when you just want to relax in Jamaica without having to pay $1,000 for a short stay .

Let me start by saying everyone's experience will not be the same and my experience was Excellent, my time at Royal Decameron cornwall beach was a very memorable one, My mom , my sister and myself stayed there from October 22- 25, 2023. Check in was good with Damion , and Courtney who took our luggages and offered us fruit punch on arrival. We did not have to wait long for our room. For My first impression I was in awe, Our Room was clean and fridge was stocked but the room did not have the best view so we requested a pool view and we received it the following day this room was very clean and had an awesome view. The food and drink was very good I had options as I do not eat meat , it was a bit spicy some days which was not my personal preference but I survived. A few flies were around which i didnt like but Staff like Akeem at the buffet restaurant and Courtney at the pool side bar made our stay so beautiful. They were so polite, attentive and friendly. We made reservation at the A la carte restaurant one evening and tht was a good experience i had toasted salmon and it was very good. Almost every staff was so polite greeting us on every encounter they had with us. The Cafe bar was great unfortunately they didn't have any decaf at the time I visited but I had chocolate tea instead which was good. The pool was wonderful and the aqua aerobics was a good exercise for me. Entertainment was limited so we had to visit the sister location next door which we had access to which is good at night with entertainment. If u are a non smoker u may not like the beach very much as alot of tourists smoke on the beach. I must say if I had followed the reviews I would not have gone there , so go and have your own experience . Overall my experience with my mom and sis was a wonderful one we all enjoyed ourselves, I give this Hotel a 8 /10

Just want to share my recent experiences at this hotel. It was disappointing. Bathroom flooded w/ each use. The mirror reflects either dirt or mold under the rim of the face basin. Phone ($) -never worked. Neither did the bedside lamp. Reported twice but no help. Limited front desk support. Amenities: bring your own or you will have to ask for towels washcloth and soaps etc. Each time you ask it is listed as "making trouble" My neighbors had to use their underwear to shower. Good thing we had our supplies as we had made a previous stop at our home to put our mom to rest. Wakeup service non-existent as the phone doesn't work Housekeeping staff were cold and inhospitable and didn't reflect the spirit of Jamaicans who like their job and appreciate you as a guest and want you to come back or share a good word about them. This was more like a cabin. Buju in the bar (for infused water) was hospitable and truly showed the Jamaican spirit. Some dining room staff were pleasant but not enthusiastic. Bring your food if you have special dietary needs. The "sister" facilities at the Montego Beach location seemed to be a better option. Entertainment staff did try to engage guests. Assist director seems incapable of managing. Names were not legible. Check-in was frustrating though the young man was trying, Andre standing by could have helped.

The food was horrible. I got chicken one night that was still raw & when I informed them about it, they told me it was a new jerk. There were not many different selections to choice from. What didn't get gone for dinner was put out again the next morning for breakfast. I asked for a omelet, when I got back to my table the effects was still raw. The 3rd day there, the water in my room went out, the sink backed up with dirty black water. I called the from desk and told them, they said someone was coming and they never did come. The room smelled horrible from the dirty room in the sink. I wouldn't suggest anyone stay at this resort. It will ruin, your whole Jamaica experience.

Very nice place. Comfortable rooms with sea view. I just wish the Marijuana wasn't smoked on property, it has such a stinky smell. One nice staff in the restaurant was Malawi. She was so sweet. Thanks Malawi. You should be training the rest of the staff

Beach is perfect. Clean and preserved water. In the night time, by the docks you may get lucky to spot the stingrays. Reading other reviews, some rooms were not up to par. Ours was. AC worked throughout the day and night. Safe worked, fridge was cold. Service is the only flaw. If you expect service with a smile like with other resorts (Dominican Republic, Cancun) it's lacking. Don't get me wrong there are fabulous servers and attendants but some of the staff look uninterested and not too happy. Also, room towels were not always stocked. Had to ask several times for face towels. Food was great and plentiful. Real jerk chicken by the beach on a Friday night, can't beat that. Buffet was great. Overall, this was my first all inclusive vacation. It was money well spent and I would return.

I gave this place four stars because honestly believe they can put more effort into the food being served, budget all-inclusive resort or not. Overall it was pretty decent for the type of resort it is. Concierges at the front desk are helpful and friendly, especially for the myriad of things that go wrong daily. Also the bar staff there in the evening and night time. They keep this place alive.

Excellent customer service. I am allergic to wheat/gluten, soy, dairy and eggs which I was super worried about but the chefs prepared special meals for me. They were amazing. The staff are exceptional, every single one of them we came across.

Definitely not a 4 Star Hotel, 3 at the most! Rooms: -The rooms here have been severely neglected. When we first arrived I was shocked to see that there was no bathroom door and just a old brown curtain -The best bases are torn and worn and in need of a replacement -The AC systems are horrendous, we had to call maintenance numerous times as our AC constantly stopped working. This resulted in us having to change rooms in the night as they could not fix it. This also happened in 2 other rooms on our floor -The bathroom state was not good, hair in the drains, limescale on the taps and just horrible dirty tiles. -When you take a shower the water just runs out the bathroom with you -NO TEA OR COFFEE FACILITIES IN THE ROOM. This is a standard for even 2 stars Service: Service was nothing to parade about. We had a few nice servers but some definitely are not up to standard. Long waiting times for just a cup of tea in the morning. I assumed they were short staffed as they would often seat you and forget about you and it would take forever to receive a drink Food: The hotel mainly caters for Americans and we found that they lacked in Jamaican cuisine, it was very disappointing as I travel to Jamaica to get a taste of Jamaica not the USA Hotel & Entertainment: Overall the hotel beach was lovely, well maintained but the shower heads are in serious need of replacing. Beach staff were also lovely and friendly. Seriously lacking in entertainment, if you are spending the evening in the hotel prepared to be bored. Overall if you are a family on a budget you can make the most of your stay but I would not stay here again, very sad as the hotel has loads of potential but defiantly needs some serious work

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. It was exactly what we wanted from a vacation - beautiful views, amazing staff including the beautiful Renee and the entertaining Snoop and extremely comfortable rooms. We were pleased with the food offerings each day, enough variety was available that you have to be extremely picky to not find something you enjoyed. We left feeling rested, relaxed and very happy. Will 100% be coming back to this resort.

The best view ever! Sitting outside of the restaurant watching the planes fly in, looking at that gorgeous water, feeling the fantastic breeze. The grounds and private beach both kept extremely clean. We spent most of our time on the Royal Montego Bay side of the resorts but our room was on the Cornwall side( ocean view stunning). We were greeted at breakfast by Kameshia with her big welcoming smile at the Cornwall buffet and had amazing, very friendly, and fast service from Monique J. at dinner on the Montego Bay side. Samantha the entertainment hostess made sure all the guests had a great time. Thank you to the staff for a lovely experience. I hope when we return there are some additional vegan options on the buffets and at the grill that would be marvelous.

The entire staff was great. I just want to express the fact that the whole resort shut down at dark. Nothing was going on for us to do after dark but drink. I understand it may not been a large group of ppl but we paid to stay and we should've had all things in play for us. Both resorts were closed and the so call club didn't start til 11:30 pm which was crazy. Why we couldn't party earlier! The food wasn't good. You didn't have American foods and u should have some American dishes. Now the bread and desserts was Great! The room had a few issues and no coffee maker nor microwave. Overall it was nice but I did expect more.

I am never the one to write reviews but this was my worst experience staying at a hotel. The 1st night I checked in and I saw the facility I knew I was in for an experience. Checked in with my kids and they didnā€™t have enough towels in the room. The ones that were left out wasnā€™t clean and The shower was filthy. I asked for bottle water for my daughter to take her medicine and they didnā€™t have any. I asked for juice and the person that had the keys for the storage room couldnā€™t find it. My mom who was also visiting Jamaica came to spend a couple nights with me. Upon arrival they said she canā€™t stay after I went to the front desk earlier to arrange her accommodations. The staff wasnā€™t happy itā€™s as if they were forced to work. The only reason I booked Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach Is because my family members were there and my kids wanted to be next to them. Never in my life I stayed at a hotel and the security guard give me a hard time. Itā€™s was my daughters 1st trip to jamaica and I felt as if I disappointed her. On a scale of 1-10 I would give that place -3. The elevator in one of the building wasnā€™t working and people had to be climbed the stairs in the heat to get to their rooms. In one week I went from staying in one of the best hotels in Vegas to a nightmare in Jamaica. Please if anyone read this Iā€™m saving you time and money donā€™t book this hotel. Out dated hotel.

very nice resort, awesome snorkeling right in the swimming area. there is a boat that comes almost every day and sits on the beach offering rides to go snorkel on a reef. They even have beer included on the boat, it was around $60 Per person. The food was very good also, large selection for everyone. We enjoyed the swim up bar as well.
