Outstanding garlic shrimp. Delightfully light and soft roti. Perfectly cooked ripe plantain. PLUS private beach and kind and attentive host?! Need I say more...

Customer service and food is on point. The restaurant is near the sea so you can take a swim while waiting on your meal. Very relaxing.

Favorite place! Delicious food and spectacular location/view. Cozy, quaint, simple yet priceless. Dine to the sound of waves or chill out with a beer and watch the stars. A real gem in the busy city. The curry shrimp is a fave! And the kind host is always down for a chat. Date night or time alone...cant beat this place .

I might be a bit bias as this is my grandmother's restaurant, but this is the best food with a view you can find in Montego Bay.

Omg, omg, rustic, I hope the owners know they have a gem on their hands, you can go swimming right after eating, I was not prepared to swim but my feet was in the water. To the owners add some umbrellas and some chairs and upon my return I may never leave. My fish and bammy deeellliiissshh, finger licking, ill be back in November on my next trip

Lovely rustic seaside restaurant. I had the fried chicken, which was great. My husband really enjoyed his curried goat.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Violet was lovely and so welcoming! The curry and fish were delicious. Violet even shared some local jackfruit with us and gave us some great local history. This is a beautiful local stop, you should make time for lunch and drinks here.

I was taken here by a friend... 3 years ago. And I make it my business to always eat here upon visiting the island .. When I tell you.. this food is made with angel hands upon a enchanted stream of ❤️❤️❤️'s words can't fully describe the pleasure my taste buds enjoy... Don't take my words... Lovely family restaurant located right on the beach at Whitehouse. Violet, the wonderful lady who runs the place, served us. She was awesome...friendly and thoughtful. She provided great service! The food was excellent! We had Ackee and Saltfish, with breadfruit, plantain, fried dumplings...so delicious!!! We took Steamed Fish (Snapper) home for dinner. So, delicious! Overall, Evelin's On The Beach has a wonderful, relaxed, chill vibe and delivers yummy, fresh, cooked-to-order Jamaican meals. Go check it out for yourself...and ask about their overnight rooms.

I’ve been going to the Caribbean for over 25 years, so I should have been smarter about entering a place with no prices on the menu or board.... We entered at the same time as two other couples, one pair of which had eaten and left before a morsel was delivered... A long time after placing our order we were told one of the items wasn’t available..,,I asked if I could have the fish which was being chopped nearby, Mahi Mahi, and was told no. When we left the main lady apologised for the chicken (thrice cooked) with some weak excuse, saying that we could have had the fish! The best was the roti and Dahl, really nice. The shrimp was good as was the rice n peas, but the chicken was incinerated.

Fantastic experience and a great family vibe. The lobster and shrimps were better than in mainstream restaurants on Hip Strip. Variety of seafood dishes, Violet was willing to offer different combinations and sides. Everything tasted amazing.
