Fresh and cook to you preference. Lobster 🦞 Fish 🐟 Octopus 🐙 along with soup and sides such as Bammy and festival which is like corn bread. There’s also a bar with soft beverages & hard drinks 🍹

Great experience. Food was amazing. Service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean while waiting on our food.

Fresh delicious seafood. It's best to call ahead as it takes some time, but the wait is worth it.

Far out never again. They seem to had to go far out to get the fish and even farther to prepare it. Got there 8PM and was told fried fish would take 35 mins to half hour. Those were her exact words. 9:31pm and I’m writing this after taking a nap in the care and still no food. This review is irregardless of how good the food will be. No matter how the food will taste far out will be far out from seeing me again.

Driver pulled over here. Ordered parrot fish and bammy. Paid $25. Costs 400 Jamaican. Ask to see fish before steamed so you can see the parrot colors.

Good for the price—but not great—and if you are willing to wait an hour and a half. Me and my partner stopped by on our way to Montego Bay and heard good reviews about this place but with some mixed comments about the wait times and they’re not wrong. We came in around 2pm and got our food at almost 3:30. We purchased a whole steamed fish, 1/2 lb of octopus (didn’t quite seem like 1/2 lb), and sides of plantain and bammy all for $40. Overall it was tasty but probably wouldn’t go back a second time unless cooking times improved.

This place was just what I needed. I was starving and was craving some seafood. I had steam fish and steam bammy with sliced scotch bonnet pepper on the side. Talk about yummy, just talking about it makes my mouth water! The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. You can sit by the ocean and look at fish while you wait.

Usually love this place anytime I go to Jamaica but this time, I wasn't too fond of the experience. We went as a group of 7 people celebrating a birthday. The people are lovely but the food took way too long and when it came, it wasn't enjoyable. It was lacking in flavour and the bammy which I normally go crazy for where not cooked properly. We all left pretty disappointed. However, the next time I visit Jamaica, I will be going there again. Mostly its great.

Wait time needs improving. But overall, I lovely time was had. It is memorable. They don't have anything for kids on the menu. It's listed, but they actually don't prepare for kids. We had to go to the next door restaurant for kids food, then come back and dine here for the adults.

Very rustic and natural setting... outdoor dining by the sea. Good tasty fish anyway you like it and my favourite, conch, when it's open season. Choice of bammy (made from cassava) and/or festival (made from flour and ir cornmeal). Food is delicious. There is also liquid refreshment available from a well stocked bar Shrimp and lobster (in open season) also available. I have been there several times over the past six years.

Choose your seafood, fish, lobster, conch! Choose from a variety of beverages. Food is cooked to order and takes as long as food takes to cook. Brought to you table side then go to town

I always call to order ahead, and the last visit the fishes seemed a bit smaller than usual, but I will always make a visit simply for the atmosphere and the best escovitch

I had the fried fish and steamed conch. Everything tasted delicious and had an organic feel to it. There’s nothing better than having a nice REAL (non gmo lol) organic meal! Don’t be thrown off when u first walk in lol this place is a hidden gem, oh & they have a cute water view too!

Must have been the day of the week, but I was not at all pleased with my food on this day. The fish selection wasn't up to par, they were meager and looked beat up. I had fried fish and bammy and everything was extremely dry. I have visited before and my food was absolutely delicious, so I will be back on a different day to see if it was just this day.

Just by the sea side... Cool, refreshing breeze blows in while you devour one of their delicious meals such as fry fish & bammy.

I personally believe there is much more that can be done about the food, service and the atmosphere. The food is far less than what I had expected, the service is that of a street side cook shop and the atmosphere is in dire need of an upgrade. The attendants lack customer service and the food lacks presentation and that wow flavor. I recommend you go elsewhere for that wow experience.

The escovich was so good that I ate here the first two nights i was there. That was my stop before checking into my room. I loved eating there and having a rum cream before bed. It was great!!

One of the best escovitch fish we had this trip to Jamaica. All prices are listed on the menu, to include the USD to JMD exchange rate, you will pay what the locals pay. The food, and view are amazing!

Order 1 lbs pepper shrimps. Got more like a 1/2 lb. Was not juicy...meaning dry and not satisfying. It is really hit and miss at this place.

The staff are very humble, the view is breath taking, but the wait is ridiculous 🙄 the bammy wasn't the best I've had....not everyone enjoys spicy foods...lack in presentation and the price is to much...I will never come back

A great spot to just relax with good friends. The food will take about 30 minutes to be prepared but the wait is well worth it. Take in the beautiful Caribbean Sea while you wait.

The best fried and steamed fish I've ever had! First time I had Bammi and it was to die for! The service was also very good. Took a long time to get our food but it was well worth it.

Easy relaxed place to get truly fresh Jamaican fish cooked in a variety of ways. Friendly and accommodating staff

  • 1/5 Pam 1 year ago on Google
I dined here at was severely over charged. The waitress charged me 8200 jamaican dollars for a small steamed fish and 12 small steamed shrimp. She originally wanted 48.00 US dollars. Then I told her we were paying with Jamaican she then charged 8200 jamaican dollars This is ridiculous. She is a scammer!

My worst experience. Have to wait too long for my food.No Costumer service. When my food finally what I ordered wasn't what I get. I ordered fried fish I got steam fish and bammy. The bammy was so burned it wasn't even. The experience was horrible.

Was once my favorite place. Now the customer service is very poor, it take forever for you to be recognized and attended to and so on our last visit we had to leave without even placing an order. Something need to change
