We
chose
the
Dolphin
Swim
experience
and
it
was
absolutely
a
high
point
of
our
trip
to
Jamaica.
The
animals
are
calm
and
kind
and
intelligent,
and
the
handlers
clearly
have
a
close
relationship
with
them.
There
was
obvious
trust
and
mutual
respect
between
the
humans
and
animals.
I
highly
recommend
the
swim,
or
the
royal
swim
option
if
you
want
a
bit
more.
Now,
there
is
a
lot
of
discussion
of
“Island
Time”
where
Jamaica
is
concerned.
Dolphin
Cove
is
no
exception.
We
had
a
large
group
which
had
two
different
selected
time
slots.
Upon
arrival
we
were
informed
they
were
running
a
bit
behind.
This
was
absolutely
true.
Some
of
us
had
chosen
a
10:30
swim,
some
the
11:30
swim,
all
based
on
availability.
Well…we
all
got
to
go
together,
but
at
about
12:30.
So,
it
seems
that
they
have
a
policy
of
assuring
cruise
patrons
that
they
will
not
have
any
timing
issues
returning
to
their
ship.
This
means
their
other
patrons
may
have
to
wait
in
order
for
them
to
get
the
cruisers
through
the
experience
first.
Fine.
No
problem.
But
it
would
be
nice
to
see
that
written
somewhere
or
simply
explain
it
during
check
in.
We
were
all
content
with
this,
but
it
did
mean
a
bunch
of
standing
around
waiting.
That
said,
there
are
hot
food
options,
gift
shop,
a
friendly
ostrich,
and
a
delightful
love
bird
enclosure.
You
can
also
very
easily
watch
the
current
dolphin
groups
at
play
while
waiting
for
your
own.
The
shark
and
stingray
sections
of
the
park
are
weather
dependent,
so
we
did
not
get
to
experience
that,
but
you
can
look
from
the
dock
and
use
your
imagination.
Had
they
been
open,
the
wait
might
have
been
a
little
less
boring.
But
you
can’t
argue
with
the
weather.
Highly
recommended.
You
will
need
to
arrange
your
own
transportation.
Try
Shande
B
for
a
friendly
taxi
driver.
