Wonderful place , well maintained with clean and modern facilities. Ample parking space with friendly security on site. There is no entrance fee , while parking is $200 /hour. The place is beautiful with a great view of the bay and the sea. Even though the place is great , unfortunately it is not a place frequented by tourists. So it would be a great place to hangout with locals.

Lovely park in Montego bay that is completely free to enter. Has a lovely large park, children's play area and a nice beach. Very well maintained area, lockers and changing rooms. A place that you don't get told about and much better than paying for Doctors cove.

A wonderful public green space with a beach. Superb amenities. Adequate rest rooms. Food and beverage offerings are good. A great place to relax, take the kids and have a fun day. Kiddie play area and basketball court are brand new. One of the best chill spaces for residents and visitors alike. Highly recommended.

Nice hang out spot. Would love some more shaded areas tho because it is soo hot when the sun is out! Jamaicans don't need a tan.

Beautiful park and beach, it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It also has a running path which is quite nice. Sometimes the tide brings in random junk, but it’s a government beach. It’s amazing for a free beach. There are a bunch of shady spots under trees so that you can take a break from the sun. They also rent out beach chairs, about $200 JMD, you have to ask the lifeguard for them. There is also an outdoor shower so you can rinse off the sand when you are done for the day. There is also a public restroom that is kept in order, one of the cleaning pubic bathrooms that I have ever seen. For food, downtown MoBay is a 5 minute walk and there is also a KFC right across from the entrance.

Was so pleased I got a chance to spend an afternoon here. Access is free, although there is a nominal charge for parking. The beach is clean the water clear, there are a couple of shops selling refreshments, light snacks and drinks. Changing facilities and restrooms also free. Also great mixing with a few locals that were there.

Simply an amazing park with beach and all required facilities. First of all, there's security everywhere. Second there're bathrooms and showers available easily. Finally, the beach and the water very clean and nice to enjoy

Harmony Beach Park Montego Bay Jamaica is just beautiful. Water calm, clear and warm. Families are out happy and relax. The food from Susie’s Beach Grill is highly recommended once you visit. Highly recommended for a relaxing, safe and chill spot on the island for both locals and tourists.

A breath of fresh air for Montego Bay and its environs. The wide open space is conducive for family outings and relaxation. Should be noted that there's a charge for parking. Worth the trip nonetheless.

Been to this place a few times. Its really beautiful over there, place well kept and not dirty. Families enjoy quality picnic times also friends. Celebrations for birthdays and anniversaries I see happening there too. It's a safe fun spot to go on a day to chill by the beach. My only issue is there arent enough shade close to the beach...lol... but beach is really clean and quite a lot of fun activities can be done here. Just go there and have fun! Whether just sitting on the grass or in the lovely sea water

Lovely beach park. There are food and other shops located there. There are gazebos that can also be rented for special occasions like birthdays etc. There is a lovely running/walking path as a biking path. You can take your own food onto the premises. Parking seems a bit limited, but perhaps it was sized to accommodate appropriate numbers of bodies at the park. Lots of seating areas both in the shade as well as the in the sun as well as no ends of nice grassy areas to accommodate same. You are given a ticket when you enter and pay for your parking when you exit (as the date of this review is $200.00).

A wonderful park, a large area with benches, gazebos, lots of greenery, sports grounds, a promenade with cafes and, of course, a beautiful beach with water attractions. The staff is polite and smiling, they monitor order and cleanliness. This park is suitable for walking, relaxing on the beach, and also for beautiful photo sessions.

The best free public beach park in the island, it’s clean, beautiful and gives you a Feel of a Hope Gardens, Emancipation Park and Fort Clarence Beach all in one.. Oh yes.. and how could I forget Devon House (Ice-Cream on-site)😊

The beach and park are free. There's a fee to rent beach chairs and umbrellas, and you might need it because it's quite sunny on the beach. There's also a fee to park your car. The changing facilities are clean and well-kept. No swimming is allowed after 5pm, and the beach is closed on Mondays, but the park is still open until late at night.

The beach itself is lovely and clean, however, the attraction Fun Factor is basically a death trap. Price is 1000jmd for children and 1500 jmd for adults. ALL DAY play. While on there, I watched lifeguards sit and not pay attention to people calling for help. One individual even took his lifeguard shirt off and said “if the shirt isn’t on, then he’s not responsible”. Like what the hell???Also, members of my group got many cuts from the edges. Rules state it’s allowed for ages 4 and above. Even with adult supervision that age range is far too wide. The equipment is way too far out in the deep water for there to be an enjoyable experience for all participants. Would not recommend going here and doing this. The beach is lovely and staff are nice and welcoming otherwise.

Also known as Dump-Up Beach, it will be transformed into a world-class multi-zoned public space within two years, at a projected cost of $JMD 700 million. It will feature a jogging trail, soft and hard landscaping, an outdoor amphitheatre, multipurpose courts, a children’s play area, food kiosks and a boardwalk, among other amenities.

Beautiful and clean with snack bars in the park and shops in the immediate area for shopping and eating. The view includes rolling mountains, cruise ships and a beautiful sunset. There is a beach for those looking to swim but they close off swimming early (sorry I didn't get the times). All and all nice area to visit and the sunset won't disappoint

A much better version of Dump up beach in Harmony Beach Park. The park has an excellent track for jogging, walking or running with a pretty nice slip resistant surface. The parking is $200 per hour and there are at least two bathroom facilities with storage lockers and many benches. It also possible to picnic in some of the shaded areas.

The place is lovely, spacious, seating everywhere and wash stations at every corner with adequate restroom facilities. It is clean and well kept. The beach is beautiful with fun activities for kids including water slides and obstacle courses. There are many options for food and refreshments so you don't have to leave the park for anything. There are kiddies play areas fenced for security and peace of mind, gazebos for special occasions too. We happened to be there while they were hosting 2 baby showers and a birthday party and none interfered with the other. There are areas where you can lounge on your blanket in the grace for a picnic or on the beach beds on the sand while you watch the planes land or the water sport activities nearby or just take a nap. It felt secure and open to all ages. Will definitely be visiting more often. A welcome addition to the city. I love it.

We definitely need more parks with beach in Jamaica. Its free and thats the best part. no shade on the beach. the water is nice and there is a track you can run or walk. The beach is gated and has security. the park closes at i think 9pm but the beach closes at 5pm. You can bring your own food or support the locals.

It’s always a pleasure.. but more trees are needed because sometimes the sun is so hot that you can hardly find shade only in corners.. it good for the environment as well, a place to relax and the recreation is nice… sea nice too, continue keep it clean.

The beach and facilities were clean and enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful. No food shops have to carry your own food but there are shops where you can buy food across the road from the beach. Beach chairs, tables etc were available for rental.

I'm happy there's a facility like this accessible to the general public..the amenities are nice and well maintained. Staff were helpful. Maybe could revisit the way traffic flows to n from the compound..a missed stop sees you doing an illegal turn to make it back to the entrance.

I was an utmost pleasure planting trees during Caribbean Tree Planting Week earlier this year at the Harmony Beach Park with their team! It is an overall great space to read, jog and relax. It's a thrill to know that this park is the only of its kind in Jamaica and I believe the Caribbean as well! It's a must visit 🤩

It's a nice place to relax and unwind.. lovely scenery, I didn't get go in the sea water so I can't speak about that part, but it seemed ok.. bring your sunscreen, as some trees are still in the growth process as it relates to providing shade from the sun.

The children park has never been open since I've been there It was opened in the summer 2021 and now it's December 2021 the beach is only open 3 days a week basically it's so typically it's a bench park with what paid parking and an ice cream store Which I don't know if it's open every day It's still better than nothing but it's not as good as it should be

Wonderful beach, courteous and helpful staff, great place for relaxing, chilling, cooling out, swimming and jogging. Good variety of food. Please hurry and restock on the beach umbrellas as they make a world of difference! A bit more transparency needed for info on renting beach chairs & umbrellas as well as the gazebo space, put up a sign or signs throughout the property and at the drive in entrance so patrons can be more informed.

Public park with a decent beach and opportunities for water sports. There are plaved walking paths and food stops along the way. The beach is clean. If you drive you will need to pay to park your vehicle. $200JA dollars per hour. The attendants will capture your license plate and note the time you enter, you will pay on the way out. If there was a drawback, there are not a lot of trees to provide shade...this can make for a hot sunny visit. Great park, I would go back.

  • 5/5 Nuts zander (. 4 months ago on Google
Clean and enjoyable. All facilities are available that you would want at a beach and the park is a plus , give Emancipation park vibes and you can sit or use the grass, for a government owned and subsodized beach. In my opinion it's better than most privately owned beaches. Had parking and you everything. Do notice it's not free parking but I think it's affordable.

I am so pleased that the former "dump-up beach" is now Harmony Beach, with extraordinarily lovely gardens, infrastructure, facilities, personnel, scenery, and vibes. You can get snacks, drinks, coconuts, Jamaica's signature Devon House Ice-cream and do much more on site. There was a young lady doing her graduation photoshoot while we were there and the setting was perfect for it. It's a great, relaxed chill spot for walks or for family, groups, or casual dates. We will be back.

The beach and the park is very beautiful and clean. The scenery is amazing. Love the fact that they also offered umbrella and chairs. My only problem is that the section that you have to go to get the rrciept is very far from yhe beach and even the park. It's the very last building in the entire park and beach far from all the activities. The staffs are friendly and willing to work with you.
