First,
let
me
say-
the
property
is
beautiful
and
the
direct
service
staff
(waiters/bartenders)
were
super
friendly
and
helpful.
While
the
property
was
great,
this
will
not
be
a
resort
that
I
will
be
returning
to.
I
am
a
Preferred
Diamond
Member
with
the
resort,
and
this
is
the
worst
customer
service
experience
I
have
had
at
one
of
the
properties.
We
arrived
at
the
property
around
11
am.
We
were
allowed
to
check
in
and
told
our
room
would
likely
be
ready
before
the
standard
3
pm
time
for
guests
to
go
to
their
rooms.
We
checked
back
with
the
Preferred
Club
staff
multiple
times.
Each
time
the
Preferred
Club
staff
acted
as
if
they
had
not
met
us
before.
Camille
tried
to
sell
us
a
membership
our
family
already
owns.
I
was
also
told
that
I
was
not
really
a
member
by
a
Preferred
Club
staff.
It
was
the
most
chaotic
and
disorganized
check-in
experience
that
I
have
ever
had.
The
room
was
not
ready
until
5
pm.
We
honestly
had
to
raise
our
voices
and
refuse
to
leave
the
club
at
this
point
to
be
given
our
room
keys.
I
am
big
on
customer
service
and
am
someone
who
communicates,
so
I
told
Camille
that
this
experience
had
been
difficult
and
unsatisfying.
I
hoped
things
would
be
made
right.
She
was
very
short
and
unprofessional
with
me.
She
told
me
all
the
reasons
I
was
wrong.
She
told
me
she
would
speak
with
the
management
to
see
what
they
could
do.
She
then
went
into
another
room
where
we
could
hear
her
talking
negatively
about
my
husband
and
me
through
the
door.
In
an
apparent
effort
to
calm
things
in
front
of
the
other
guests,
Camille
told
us
she
would
walk
us
to
our
room
and
show
us
the
amenities.
She
then
walked
us
around
the
corner
and
pointed
us
to
the
elevator.
She
simply
told
us
to
go
to
the
3rd
floor
and
take
a
right
instead.
We
did
not
hear
anything
from
Camille
for
the
rest
of
the
trip.
After
roughly
36
hours,
I
reached
out
to
the
VIP
staff
via
email.
Several
days
later,
I
was
informed
that
the
situation
was
being
escalated
and
would
be
remedied
quickly.
Needless
to
say,
nothing
was
addressed
by
any
staff
member.
The
VIP
membership
our
family
owns
is
supposed
to
provide
automatic
room
upgrades.
Of
course,
our
room
was
not
upgraded-
although
we
spoke
with
several
non-preferred
club
members
who
did
get
upgrades
to
their
rooms.
It
certainly
seems
that
signing
up
new
members
is
all
that
matters.
Once
you
are
a
member,
you
lose
all
the
perks
that
are
provided
to
potential
members.
It
sure
seems
more
important
to
take
care
of
those
who
haven't
signed
on
the
dotted
line.
They
may
say
"welcome
home"-
but
it
is
far
from
being
treated
like
family.
In
addition,
I
found
a
lizard
and
a
roach
in
my
room
and
got
food
poisoning
twice
while
at
the
resort.
I
recommend
avoiding
the
buffet
for
that
reason.
From
a
family
who
spent
tens
of
thousands
of
dollars
to
purchase
this
membership,
it
sure
does
not
seem
worth
it.
