I cannot begin to describe how hospitable the staff is there!!!! From the moment I made my reservation, Stacy was prompt and made me feel like I was at home. I booked my room upon landing at MBJ, and she immediately had Mr. Brooks there to bring me to the hotel. I felt like I was a local. They made me feel so comfortable and RELAXED. The pool is warm and it overlooks a clear capture of the water and the view of the airport. It's so close to the airport, which is a real convenience. Ms. Stacy accommodated my requests to get me the best first time experience in Jamaica. I cannot wait to go back!

Tropical charm up on the hillside overlooking the airport. Room was comfortable but not luxury. No shampoo in the bathroom or front desk. Restaurant was tasty, but out of half the items on the menu. We stayed here for an airport layover because they offered a shuttle, but it only runs at limited times. Check with the front desk. Not a good spot for a beach vacation, but we were happy with a 1-night layover.

My room was clean, but outdated. Resort seemed almost vacant, breakfast was almost non existent. This place needs development.

If it had a no star option I would have given it..... place is not clean, very run down and has no food services as their website stated. I checked in spent 40 mins because u was tired then checked right back out. The photos on the website are very outdated. Stay far away from here is not what it is from the website. Got out so fast did not have chance to take photos

Nice quaint little place nestled in the hills practically across from the airport, which was just what I needed for one night until I headed to my next destination. I picked this hotel specifically because it advertised that it had a free airport shuttle, which turned out to be untrue. Ended up having to catch a cab, which costs $15 US no matter what, just to go 5 minutes. But got transportation straightened out for the return to the airport the next day, so that made it better. My room was super clean, but outdated. TV didn't work, but I managed. Resort seemed almost vacant, breakfast was almost non existent (I imagine COVID had a lot to do with that). I WILL say that everyone that I encountered was super friendly, so that also made it a bit better, and also the view from my room was spectacular.

The manager guy jr had great customer service but the room wasn’t anything to love. The hot water didn’t work in one room, a.c didn’t work in the other and the stoves and kitchen were not clean. Nothing in the resort Was working or available. Pool was ok

Very quiet, and within close proximity to the Sangster International Airport. If you are looking for something less expensive than your usual 5 star hotels, then Relax Resort gives you that option.

I just stayed here for my birthday on July 16 2021 it was not like a Hyatt hotel more like a little apartment but Jamaican style so don’t expect luxury but it’s comfortable and clean with a amazing view not far from airport or hip strip definitely quiet and relaxing the employees make it the best and I must admit me and my two friends enjoyed our stay the guy junior did everything he could to make us comfortable and show us around gave us the do’s and dont’s of Jamaica the manager even sent us on a boat ride for my bday and I didn’t have to drive or spend a cent it wasn’t what I was use to back home but the fact that they did everything to make me feel at home I give them 5 stars just for the consistent love to make our stay comfortable . Also the guy jr. deserves a raise lol he literally make sure everything is running smooth I don’t think it was a day I was there I didn’t see him pooring sweat very hard working man ...

I'm hoping that coming out of the pandemic things will look up. The staff though, are patient and willing.

Staff very friendly but location is a bit out of the way and a taxi to the Hip Strip will set you back $20 each way for a five minute journey. Hotel does offer a free shuttle but it only runs three times a day. Breakfast was fantastic but the restaurant didn't have many dinner options and none of those available were vegetarian friendly.

I went there in May 14, 201 and spend the night. Place looks nice. Lovely view. If they hire new staff I would recommend it to anyone. This one lady was very bitter and she was cussing and all the guests heard her. Rolling eyes with angry face. She wasn't even in uniform. It took me almost 2 hours to get something to eat morning. Everybody got their food and left me and two other persons asroumd the table for more than hour before being served. They totally didn't prepare for the guests.

It is very cost efficient, and the location is ideal for a short or long stay in Montego Bay. Rooms were clean, and the staff polite and understanding. Temperature of the pool is just right for a typical hot day in St. James. Security is always where your vehicle is parked, and the bar always stacked. For locals, we'll notice that the drinks cost TWICE what we're use to. Jamaican-style breakfast included and it is tasty; served by 7:30 a.m. You can see the planes fly-over, but you're not that close to the airport for it to disturb sleep. Glad I discovered Relax Resort.
