Club running after hours under the police supervision yet charging who dem think tourist $1000 for someone who move to the island to live it is very unwelcoming. This is not taboo so for them charging this price is ridiculous. Them ago learn who spend money on them dancers and not security but dem too greedy them want more then dancers just fi open di door. This place needs new management A.S.A.P. With 3 million if followers dem miss out and I will be posting to reflect that. Do not stay here unless you’re looking for after hours parties music blaring and rooms had roaches and mold. Very unsafe conditions with all the local vagabond roaming there late night. Most reviews are from friends and family and are untrue. Save your money and stay away. This is the motel 6 of mobay

Needs to be updated but ok for 1 night layovers

The room were exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sheets and and towels were sparkling white. All staff were friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend this stay. However, the air outside the communal area was constantly filled with the smell of weed which seemed to be smoked locals dropping by. This really spoilt my outdoor relaxing experience in the evenings and even in the mornings. Less weed aroma will make this place for me an excellent place for a short stay. If you are worried about your children and secondary smoking be aware.

Its simple, quiet, easy , clean, safe and nice. Great location. 10 to 15 minutes minutes from the airport. For bag pack travelers, It should cost less than $5 US if you walk across to the taxi stand. Get a "beach road" taxi and you are right there.

Clean atmosphere and friendly service.

As a Jamaican, Donway is my go-to hotel when I'm traveling alone. My room feels like my own one bedroom apt, and the staff are very accommodating to always offer my favourite room. The bar area always has fun activities like billiards, and a friendly group of locals plus guests. It's on the famous Hip Strip and a short walk to the famous Doctors Cave Beach. There are local Jamaican shops and restaurants nearby, and a skating rink operating on premise Thu - Sun nights (otherwise quiet). This is a small, family run hotel in a highly desirable location. I love staying here because it feels like home.

Impromptu place of stay along Montego Bay hip strip. This property is close to the airport, near to whatever a humble person on vacation would embrace. Staff here very pleasant. Front desk stellar. The restaurant here caters delicious breakfast, my daughter enjoyed. A couple vacationing also highlighted their love for the prepared meals. We all were on one accord. Wasn’t disappointed at all and can see myself returning again and again. My humble abyss this place will now become. Yes indeed. One fact at 1am the need for bottle water was evident. Walked up front to the bar. The night audit was kind enough to allow me to purchase water for my daughter and I. That is what is dubbed as going above and beyond. This place may not match up esthetics to the royal enormously sized hotels popular. Customer service is what is priority at the end of the day. If you are looking for glitz and glam, this hotel is not for you. It has the bare necessities. I didn't plan on spending much time in my room so it worked perfectly. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge and a microwave. Also the last time it was updated was 2014. I love the staff especially Ms Yvonne.

Was great, giving it a 4 star rating because there was a water issue where we had to wait hours to get water at one point. I think it had something to do with NWC. The staff was polite, place very clean and cozy. Right on the hip strip. Less than 5 minutes away from the airport. Great place to stay!

There is a bar a little pricy but nice to play pool.. there is a also Skate City nice. Not sure if they still do karaoke on Friday night's.

I worked at the Izizzi Lottery at Danway Complex..but there are very nice people here.

The room was very clean, the lining not so much. The customer service was very poor. But if you're looking some where to just relax with you and your love one it's ok. Price is cheap.

I read the reviews before I booked 10 days to stay in this hotel they were great reviews. But that’s not what I found when I got here. When we drove 🚘up to the hotel 🏨 The music was blaring I could not even hear the lady 🙍🏾‍♀️to check in to my room I had to repeat it several times loud when I finally checked in they’re not so young lady 🙍🏾‍♀️helped me up to one flight of stairs with my 50 pound bag instead of several healthy younger people👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 that were around the loud music 📻pool table area next to the check-in desk. 📖 When I got inside my room it looked like the bed 🛌 was made out of cardboard 📦the furniture 🪑was a garage sale reject and goodwill at the same time. the room looked like it was painted by my four-year-old grandchild. 👼I went to take a shower 🚿 it was dripping out of the shower 🚿 head cold. I heard somewhere cold water 💧 was good for your circulatory system but this was a bit extreme and the conditions you can see from the pictures were less desirable. I dried off with smelly towel. I asked where the free Sunset Beach 🏝 was I and walked down there. it was a 50 foot long by 30 foot wide beach 🏖 with barely enough space to do anything on and was littered with trash. On my way there I was propositioned 4 to 5 times felt very uncomfortable there were actually people stopping in the middle of the street to say to me me hey hey do you want to go somewhere. I looked at my surroundings and it looked like I was in the ghetto project area . I quickly retreated back to my hotel room asked the front desk lady 🙍🏾‍♀️(very nice) where a grocery store was again being haggled like, come here, come here several times on my way there. went into the grocery store got my dinner top Ramen walked back to the hotel room prepared my top Ramen dinner because there were no restaurants within walking distance around that looked clean enough and Didn’t sell boiled plain food. The Wi-Fi 💻was weak at best and the noise from the traffic 🚖and the birds 🐦 made you appreciate bringing your headphones 🎧 to try to get a good nights sleep which thank God I did bring my headphones 🎧 because there was loud blaring music all night long. I went to bed 🛌 with bugs 🐜 crawling over me woke up turn the light 💡 on ghost bug, sugar 🐜 crawling all over me wipe them off basically couldn’t wipe enough of them off and had to sleep 😴 like that. Luckily I was able to get a credit on the eight days they charge me for two night🌙 stay but I could not stay another night at that hotel🏨 and booked at another hotel deja resort just a mile down the road. Where I’m leaving them an excellent review for the clean rooms great service and good night 🌙 sleep 🛌 Don’t EVER STAY HERE!!! It looks like they threw a few buildings together painted it and called at hotel in the ghetto. It deserved one star for the nice lady that help me out at the front desk.

Great location with security gates. The room was clean and there are great staff at the front desk, very hospitable and felt like family. I only stayed one night when my flight was cancelled, and I enjoyed my one night stay!

They having party one of the door man explain the price was $1000 jmd only to question if we are tourist and go up in price to $2000. He was better off asking for a tip than trynna scam us.

Best place to hang out. Good vibes and everyone is so friendly. You can choose from so many activities available on property. I love this place
