This is to let people know about the conditions here. We had few options after testing postive for COVID at the airport. We had been staying at a villa, and it was rented out to another party so we couldn't isolate there. This is now a state run isolation hotel for tourists with COVID. It is very run down with multiple safety, maintenance and cosmetic deficits. The staff there is friendly and you can pay the aide to get you additional provisions. Our room had working AC in bedroom, lumpy pillows, lots of road noise, WIFI did not work, a leaking sink, NO hot water, and dangerous electrical outlets and non working bathroom light and fan. Stained dirty floors and mattresses and furniture. We could hear our neighbors coughing and wheezing with COVID. The view was a stained concrete wall onto a guarded parking lot. If you want coffee, you need to pay the aide to get instant for your room. Same with any alcohol. Meals are mostly rice and beans with a choice of protein and a scant few veggies. No fruit, no dairy, no sweets, no snacks.

*Negatives* Internet needs updating. I get none from rooms. The staff need MAJOR upgrading. I ask for a new wristband and the staff start screaming and spit in my face. Ignorant. The landscape needs lots of updating. Their were at least 20 problems with our room. The front desk is ignorant. We have to pay for our safe and we need to pay for a common essential. Shampoo. They purposely turn off the power to shut off your AC at night. They also make you turn on the heat of the shower. You need to lift your bags up to the room. No elevators. Wait for room was 2 hours. Locks on doors dont work. No shampoo and conditioner. Very messy rooms. Highway noises. It is hard to sleep. Chairs are bad. *Positives* Units are spacious. Sea view. Couches are okay.

The outside is very well kept and the breakfast was good, however the decor is outdated the bathroom and kitchen could use some renovation. The first room I was given was not clean as there was a wet wash cloth left in the bathroom, bed looked like someone had slept in it and garbage left in the kitchen. I was given another room down the hall which was cleaner than the one before EXCEPT the bathroom tub is filthy (actually sprayed myself with rubbing alcohol after my shower) I just needed a peace of mind cause I was itching after my shower. Don't bother looking for any iron, blow dryers, knives or extra towels they are kept at the front desk πŸ™„. My sister called for an extra set of towels last night when we checked in we're about to check out and STILL NO towels in sight πŸ‘€. The staff is friendly and I like that they had fruit trees on the grounds were you can pick and eat. If your looking for a quick rest stop this is an okay place to spend a few hours.

I am writing this review bc this hotel is very sketchy if you are thinking of booking with them, look elsewhere , for your peace of mind!! They cancelled our booking instead of telling us the truth as to why the chose to cancel our booking, they gave some bogus reason about COVID...BUT once ORBITZ called them to double check why we were really cancelled, they lied at first and said they didn't cancel and the cancellation was on my end, so I asked the agent , WHY WOULD I CANCEL MY HOTEL A WEEK BEFORE MY TRIP??? Finally come to find out they overbooked at the property, instead of calling me directly they lied in the email, mind you our trip is coming up next week, now I'm here scrambling trying to look for another property.. Very unprofessional and non reliable, not a great way to run a business!! IM JUST GLAD THIS HAPPENED BEFORE WE GOT THERE, I CANT IMAGINE WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF WE REALLY STAYED THERE, I REAPEAT RUN !!!

Visited back in 2018 and still holding a dear memory of the place. The hotel/resort, though by far not luxurious, still offers spacious and clean accommodation. The food quality and pool area need to be improved. The staff would go out of their way in order to make their guests feel welcome. An added bonus is the spectacular view over Doctor's Cave.

This resort is minutes away from the hustling bustling Hip Street and Doctors Cave Beach. My highest recommendation for anyone traveling to Montego Bay, the stay was affordable and great for budget travelers.

The room was clean and tidy. The a/c worked really well. All the appliances, including the TV, were plugged out when we got there but it all worked once plugged in. Breakfast was good and the view from the restaurant was gorgeous. All in all, good value for money. It was actually way better than I expected.

Great location on a cliff right above the Hip Strip, where all the action is. It's a self-contained apartment like hotel. Has its own convenience store, pool and restaurant, all situated on top of a cliff with beautiful views at 11 Queens Drive. If you want to get down to where the action is you can take a little walkway to the top of a high-rise building and take the elevator directly down to the Hip Strip. There is shopping, all kinds of stores, restaurants, hotels, Doctors Cave beach, about anything that you'd want to see or do can be found right here. No taxis, no travel really involved other than the elevator ride down. Quiet when you're up top. The hotel is well used meaning worn but comfortable and rather inexpensive. Everything was clean and in reasonable shape. It was a one bedroom with a kitchen, a balcony suite. We don't cook so restaurants were where we always ate out at. Only kept snacks and drinks in the room. It has security such as it is and is some defense for complex. There's a restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and dinner and a bar with drinks. Very nice pool area. We stayed at this place off and on for 25 years now.

Great customer service. Clean, quiet. Rooms are adequately furnished. All necessary appliances are present. Location is central, you can walk to most places on the strip. Has elevators unlike some other older places. Their breakfast is good and they have a mini supermarket on property with necessities you need on arrival.

Rooms were okay at most, floors were stained, kitchen was old, and facilities were dated. Breakfast was limited in options and food is overpriced. Not much to do and wouldn’t recommend if you want a fun and exiting hotel stay. Wifi was basically non-existent. Beds were comfortable and tv was alright. If you want somewhere to lay your head at night then this is the place for you.

The apartment was really clean. There is a restaurant with complimentary breakfast, cooked to order instead of a buffet like other spots. The beach is nearby and there is a track's and records down the street, you can walk there. It's very safe with a gated entrance and security 24/7. I would certainly come back and KatieAnn at the front desk is the best! I loved Montego Bay and can't wait to come back!

The place was very nice based on how it looked. It gave a townhouse vibe and it's good that you don't need to drive to get to the beach. The service is horrible there is WiFi But but it is not strong at all and the televisions are very grainy unless you move the cords. The air conditioner was very good in one room it didn't so work in the other and the shower is very powerful .It was a nice environment but they didn't have enough internet to bring up the vibe

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Nice community that is approximately a 5 minute drive to the airport. This location is walking distance from Dead End beach and Doctor's Cave Beach. Everything is within walking distance. The pool is clean and great for a morning swim!
