A
few
things
to
point
out...
this
place
had
to
have
been
a
highly
sought-after
destination
in
its
day.
When
I
say
"in
its
day,"
I
mean
like
the
80s
bc
almost
nothing
worked
as
it
should.
Nothing
has
been
updated.
It
looks
rundown
and
unmaintained.
What
was
once
the
courtyard
with
a
beautiful
fountain
at
the
bottom
and
beautiful
green
mountain
side
is
broken,
dirty,
and
an
eyesore.
There
were
no
restaurants
open.
Not
ever,
so
no
food
on
site,
and
although
food
is
just
a
short
walk,
be
prepared
for
everyone
u
meet
along
the
way
to
ask
u
to
buy
them
food
bc
they
are
hungry.
Turned
the
vibe
all
the
way
down.
The
front
door
to
our
room
had
clearly
been
busted
into
multiple
times
with
a
crack
down
the
entire
right
side
next
to
the
lock,
and
maybe
glued
together
bc
I
saw
no
screw
or
nail,
so...
not
very
safe.
No
working
deadbolt.
I
did
feel
good
about
security,
bc
there
was
someone
at
both
entrances
watching
the
door,
but
nothing
to
really
verify
that
u
stayed
there
except
the
main
entrance
at
the
top.
The
elevator
stopped
working
one
day...
sooooo...
like
13
flights
of
steps...
whew!!!!
The
AC
did
NOT
WORK!!!!
We
could
have
stayed
around
the
corner
for
half
the
price
as
MBCA,
but
they
didn't
have
AC,
so
we
decided
against
it
and
then
ended
up
with
no
AC
anyway.
Had
a
fan,
but
pushing
around
90°
air
does
nothing..
literally
nothing.
I
gave
service
a
3
bc
we
did
need
them,
but
when
they
came...
clear
attitude.
The
working
lock
has
something
like
a
child
lock
so
you
can
open
from
the
inside
but
not
the
outside,
so
we
turned
it
on
not
knowing
how
the
lock
worked,
to
feel
safer
about
the
deadbolt
not
working.
We
didn't
know
that
u
couldn't
unlock
the
door
with
the
key
if
that
lock
was
on.
Someone
had
to
come
pry
the
door
from
the
frame,
basically
just
breaking
in...
which,
hell,
I
could
have
done
that
myself.
Clear
frustration
during
this
interaction
with
the
lady
that
came
up
and
called
the
maintenance
man.
And
then
I
had
to
give
the
maintenance
man
"somethin'"...
i
felt
obligated
to
tip
for
a
service
that
should
be
guaranteed
with
my
stay.
seems
legit.
Other
than
that,
the
room
was
clean
and
extremely
basic.
Like,
the
true
bare
necessities.
Bed,
no
headboard,
and
a
split
king,
I
didn't
like
that.
None
of
the
cupboard
doors
closed
all
the
way.
The
breaker
for
the
hot
water
was
off,
so
the
first
shower
i
took
was
cold
bc
after
my
trip
and
customs,
i
def
needed
a
shower.
There
were
the
basic
pots,
pans,
plates,
and
silverware.
All
these
were
clean
and
satisfactory.
Plenty
of
toilet
paper,
towels
and
washclothes,
typical
hotel
soap.
I
would
have
liked
to
see
cleaning
products
there
so
I
could
wipe
some
things
down
myself
to
feel
more
comfortable,
but
there
were
none
to
be
found.
Ok,
moving
on,
the
pool
was
gross.
The
water
was
cloudy
and
clear
sentiment
at
the
bottom
in
the
deep
end.
We
quickly
decided
against
it.
The
view
was
beautiful
from
there,
though,
so
take
a
second
to
go
up
there
and
look
around.
You'll
love
it.
Now...
let's
talk
about
the
best
part..
LOCATION!!
overall,
I
would
rent
this
place
again
simply
bc
of
the
proximity
to
everything.
The
most
talked
about
party
spot
club
2727
is
a
short
walk
and
margaritaville
right
next
to
that.
Side
note:
They
say
u
got
to
be
at
2727
early
bc
it
fills
quick,
but
they
don't
bartend.
They
sell
bottles
of
liquor.
Not
my
thing,
so
I
went
to
margaritaville
where
I
can
sit,
eat,
and
enjoy
my
mixed
drinks.
Ok,back
to
the
location,
across
from
Doctors
Cave
Beach
$8/pp
per
day,
definitely
worth
it,
water
crystal
clear
.
I
recommend
snorkeling.
The
first
day
I,didn't
see
much.
Just
a
giant
sea
snail,
but
the
second
day
I
saw
multiple
types
of
fish.
They
do
close
at
5:30
but
there
is
a
free
public
beach
also
a
short
walk.
The
view
from
the
balcony
is
breathtaking!!
We
were
looking
directly
at
doctors
cave
beach
which,
I
watched
the
sun
set
every
day.
Despite
the
short
interaction
with
an
attitude
and
the
clearly
unmaintained
amenities,
I'd
go
again.
U
pay
for
what
u
get
ya
know.
If
u
want
everything
u
see
in
vacay
brochures,
go
to
Sandals.
If
u
want
a
quick,
cheap
trip,
go
to
MBCA.
