I would gladly double the 5 stars if I could! What an amazing experience staying at Polkerris! This is a travelers dream, beautifully located in the Montego Bay Area hip Strip, so walking around is easy. But from the moment you arrive, you are greeted by the two most lovely hosts, Peter and Elaine, who we’ve secretly adopted as our Jamaican parents! Lol The room was so thoughtfully designed, and the details were really impressive. Everything was spotless, and the bed was super comfy! Breakfast was another plus, it certainly made me break my fasting routine as I could not resist! We cannot go back to a regular hotel while here after this trip!

Absolutely great place! The owners and staff made me welcome from the first moments. Room is very comfortable, well equipped and superbly clean. The breakfast is very good and you are offered good selection. Pool and terrace with awesome view, close to beach and plenty of restaurants.

Wonderful place to stay, especially if you are traveling alone or in pairs. The rooms are lovely, clean, and air conditioned. Very centric location, the pool is wonderful and the hotel is also very secure. We really loved Peter and Elaine, they were really welcoming, helped us with tours and taxis. Peter and Elaine are extremely professional, kind and helpful. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The breakfast is a large serving, with juice, coffee/tea, fruit, then a proper meal. You can also have it personalized, it is home cooked and delicious. You can have traditional Jamaican breakfasts or American breakfasts, or a mix of both. The view from the pool is breathtaking. Even though you are on the strip which can play loud music at night, you can’t hear it from the hotel room. I am a seasoned traveler and really loved my experience at Polkerris.

Our 8 day stay at Polkerris exceeded our expectations. The room and the patio had spectacular views. The room was spacious, very clean and elegant. Peter and his wife were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were great. It was peaceful, and the grounds were beautiful. We have zero complaints or concerns. Everything about our stay was perfect.

Best place to stay in Jamaica. Mr. Peter and Mrs. Elaine were great hosts. You can tell they enjoy making sure guests are happy. The property is clean, safe, well kept, and quiet considering its close to the hip strip. Breakfast is fresh and taste really good. I ended up extending my stay because it was such a great time. I recommend this place 100% and will return if visiting Jamaica again. You guys are awesome!!

Peter and Elaine were fantastic host! Their attention to detail is impeccable they took care of my girlfriend when she was feeling ill and adapted their menu for her. The food was delicious every morning and I tasted almost every options! Wish I could’ve tried them all! The view over Montego Bay is beautiful and the location is not more than 10 min walk from beaches, restaurants, etc. Thanks again for everything !

This is more of a guesthome/bed brkfst experience than a hotel. The location is great, as there is a path down from the house straight into downtown. The rooms are luxurious and clean, the bathrooms are grand with plenty of hot water pressure, the view from the pool is epic. I only gave 4 stars for a couple of reasons. The hosts are living there, so be aware there is not a ton of privacy and we felt like we needed to be quiet most of the time. They do cook amazing breakfasts every morning for you, however there is a rule about serving that breakfast at 830am. As we had just flown a red eye from across the world, 3 hours earlier at home, that meant brkfst was at 530am for us. It was difficult to wake up that early every day while relaxing and enjoying our vacation Granted, I showed up to breakfast late and they still served me - but the stress of it didn't feel worthwhile as I felt I was inconveniencing their schedule. But if you love to rise early, the house is really beautiful, clean, and the hosts are lovely people.

We had an exceptional stay with Peter, Elaine, and their staff at the Polkeriss B&B. The sincere interest in our needs and wants was apparent even before our arrival but indeed continued throughout our stay. If you value cleanliness, safety and security, peace and quiet, stunning views, and knowledgeable and professional personal service, then you need look no further. The rooms and food are absolutely wonderful and prepare you for taking advantage of the perfect location for exploring Doctors Cave Beach, local art shopping, and amazing restaurants like The Pelican. This is the BEST Bed and Breakfast spot in Montego Bay. It’s very clean and safe. I love that it’s located close to the airport. It’s also within walking distance to the beach and restaurants on the strip. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding. Highly recommended

My husband and I had a marvelous experience at the Pokerris Bed and Breakfast. This place is a hidden gem and an oasis in Montego Bay. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and tranquil. The food at the Pokerris was wonderful. One of the best part of our trip! Above all, the customer service is superlative. Pokerris staff were kind, hospitable, and accommodating. I've taught customer service for the Ritz Carlton many years ago and appreciate the Pokerris for their level of service. The property provides security, so you feel safe. They have two drivers they recommend to guests( Michael and Mr. Kool). Both are professional, they look out for the clients, and provide safe transportation services through out the island. We took a tour to Negril and Lethe rafting with Michael who is an excellent tour guide. Our room and the overall property was kept very clean. Its located close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The Pokerris will be our go to place when in Montego Bay. We are very impressed with their level of service and we are greatful. This is my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and I’m super impressed! Wow! This place is amazing! Mr. Peter and his wife are amazing host.The facility is super clean, the breakfast they serve was delicious. I felt safe and welcome all day everyday! The views were breathtaking and a great place to watch the sunset. Overall awesome experience. Also Fantastic location. I definitely would stay here again!

Another place to add to the list of stays! The hosts have been nothing but hospitable, welcoming and friendly. If you have an questions or concerns, they will be sure to help you. My flight was delayed until the next day and they were able to accommodate me and my friends for one more night. The breakfast is amazing, the location is everything! If I could give them 20 stars, I would. The next time I come to Jamaica, I will definitely stay here!

We spent a week in Negril and our last week Feb 12 th until the 19th at Polkerris. I booked directly through Jeremy based on the excellent reviews and the booking went smoothly. I will begin by saying WOW! There are two villas and we stayed with with the hosts Elaine & Peter. You can use both villa facilities. The view of Montego Bay was breathtaking. It is a great location, peaceful close to Hip Strip and beaches yet feels far away from it all. The pools and waterfall and gardens were spectacular. The room, delicious breakfasts and all the touches Peter and Elaine provide made are vacation special and unforgettable. Thank you Elaine & Peter for your lovely stay and your special touches! We highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!

The best 3-star hotel to stay. The room was great, breakfast was delicious and the pool was amazing. Plus it overlooks Margaritaville with a great view. You can't ask for anything better from a 3 star. The property is very secure and the doors operate just like the ones in a hotel, where you need to buzz in with a card. It's like staying in a 5-star, just without the all you can eat buffet. Peter, the owner, and his wife offered exceptional customer service all the way. My wife and I will definitely bring the kids here soon.

Stayed in Jamaica 2.5 weeks coming from the U.S, staying at 2 other RESORTS and we liked this BETTER. Amazing food, and services very clean, and they are able to have the best driver ever come pick you up!!!

I only stay here when I’m in Montego Bay. Very peaceful and beautiful…yet steps away from hip strip…you get to enjoy the beauty of Jamaica…free breakfast is Jamaican or IS style at your request…my home away from home❣️

Best place to stay in Montego Bay, my daughter and I throughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean property with the friendliest of staff and owners. The breakfasts were superb. The property was very close to all the places on the hip strip and when we wanted to travel for an excursion, they helped us book a private driver. Great experience with beautiful views. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend to all wanting to visit Montego Bay. It also felt very safe and we walked many places in Montego Bay without any issues.

Oh my! What a time we had on our first trip to beautiful Montego Bay Jamaica!! Our stay at Polkerris was nothing short of amazing😍 Mrs. Clarissa, Crystal and Charlotte made sure we were taken care of! The room was beautiful with a big picture window to take in the view of the ocean and the breakfast was nothing short of 5 star!!!!!! Big ups to our brother from a different mother Michael!!! Our awesome tour guide!!!! Michael was patient and showed us sooooooo much of Jamaica!! Love you all and can't wait to see you again when we return! ONE LOVE!!!

If I could give them six stars I would. This hotel is amazing. It’s a hidden gem. The staff, Crystal, and others were very hospitable, friendly and had great customer service. The food is amazing. The hotel is quiet, clean, beautiful and not too busy. It’s on top of a hill with an amazing view of Montego. The pool goes to 8 feet! The rooms are beautiful and clean. My stay was amazing and this was definitely unexpected. Super affordable!

My partner and I had an amazing time in November 2022 . The staff was friendly and catered to our every need . One person who made our stay even better was Peter he was funny ,made every morning so special for us . Breakfast was so good we were spoiled and we enjoyed every moment , the view is breath taking from every angle and the grounds were well kept ,we loved the privacy and cozy romantic feel its like no one was around the rooms beautiful and inviting just what we needed and we got just that a feel of the beautiful island . We will definitely visit again soon and we plan on getting married there soon . Can't wait to visit again .

We stumbled upon Polkerris Bed and Breakfast after dining at The Pelican and what a treasure! This beautiful bed and breakfast is near airport and the hip strip but tucked away just enough to enjoy the tranquility of the botanical gardens and amazing views of Montego Bay. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, include hot water, safety rails and excellent WiFi. Each day you are given a choice of a traditional Jamaican breakfast or an American Breakfast. We were greeted daily with a warm reception from all of Staff including Crystal, Terri and Cherylynn and the lovely Owners who live onsite.

One of the most beautiful places I have stayed . The owners are wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. The breakfast was made to order and plentiful. We sat poolside with a view of the bay. It’s very relaxing with only 4 units in one building and 6 across the street. Easy to walk to restaurants and the beach.

Polkerris Bed and Breakfast will be my home in jamaica from now on. The level of service and hopitality is top notch and Peter and Elaine were so caring it was like we were family. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The facility is very clean and the view is breathtaking. I have been raving about the place since our stay 3 weeks ago and I can't wait to go back.

Felt just like home! Polkerris is perfect stay for a couple getaway peaceful vibes, beautiful views, and impeccable service most of all the property is clean, uh secluded and safe. The staff and Ms. Clarisse take good care you like family. Breakfast is delicious we looked forward to the fresh fruit medley, coffee/tea, and good Jamaican dishes every morning we did not want American breakfast not in JA!! This is our home in Mobay, we will be back!

The owners are the nicest people who want to make sure you have the best possible experience. The compound is secluded, safe and clean and also has a breathtaking view. The price is more than reasonable as you are right off of hip strip and are served an authentic Jamaican breakfast (or american if requested) which is amazing. The service is excellent as well. If you want to experience Montego Bay outside of an all inclusive resort, then this is the right place.

We just had one of the best stays we have ever experienced. Let me start by saying the staff is exceptional at taking care of their guest. From the time of our arrival to the day of departure, we were treated with loving care by a group of kind and professional ladies. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the comfort of a safe and pleasant environment was an additional perk provided. If you are looking for serenity, beautiful scenery, and wonderful service, this is the place for you. It's up a hill which is a little work on the legs for those not use to a little uphill walk. So for us the only challenge was not being as fit as we should have been..lol, but for the service we received- we would do it all again. They treated us like we were a part of their family.

It was my first time here. All I can say is , at first I was a little skeptical but my intuition led me there and let me tell you. Do not waste your time hesitating to go there. It was the best, cost friendly stay I have ever had. The owners and staff are warm and friendly, the visitors are the same and the rooms are heavenly. I almost thought it was too good to be true but the scenery. Everything wowed me !!!!! Great job guys!!!!!!!

“Home away from home” this is a term I’ve always heard people talk about but I’ve never truly experienced until I visited this place. On my first visit with my husband I thought wow this place is beautiful!!! The host (Peter and his wife) were warm and friendly but the part that got me was the food! I had no idea food could have tasted so good. After my first meal, I was tempted to stay another day just so I could have more breakfast lol. My second visit was the charm, we were greeted as familiars I felt like I came home to spend time with my Aunty and Uncle😀 Peter was so welcoming. At breakfast (my favorite part) Mrs Peter delivered the best food ever! We chatted for a while and I realized the food wasn’t great because of a good chef it was magnificent because it was seasoned with love. These people love what they do! They kept the place super clean, its quiet and evident that the covid protocols are being followed. This place is my favorite spot in Mobay “my home away from home”. See you soon Aunty & Uncle Peter🤗🤗
