Great deal! Met the owner took care of me and my Husband. Party party party!!! Loved it. Room was adequate and View was Amazing! Some rooms have AC mine did and a Lil fridge. And let me not Forget about the Chef 5* thank you for your Understanding and Hospitality!!! Overall Great!! Affordable! Not kid friendly! Will stay again!! See ya soon !

If there was a zero rating.... That's what I would have given. First off.... once you enter the premises, you would realize that the place was filthy. Once I got to my room, I realized that there was no light expect for a night lamp, no comforter on the bed and no towels in the bathroom. I however requested towels and a comforter. I received the towels seven hours later and to date have to received the sheets. But the greatest disappointment for me was the fact that at 10pm the country was under a curfew and there was a party upstairs. Naturally the police came and all the patrons lined the corridor where my room was located and started beating the doors for us to let them in because they did not want to be held by the police. Terrified for my life, a tried calling the front desk to I got no answer to this day. I would NEVER RECOMMEND BIG APPLE TO ANYONE‼

Excellent location. Brand new owners. Chef, bartenders and staff are great and the customer service is outstanding. Hotel in Montego Bay is one of the best locations in Jamaica. Pool is clean and the food is very good. Wings are the best in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Flights out of Jamaica was cancelled on us for my family and friends at the last minute. We booked motel not knowing anything about the place. Owner answered the phone very friendly. Price was very fair. We arrived fairly late, but everyone was ready to help us check in. They brought out beach balls for my kids to play with in the pool and they also brought out music and beer for us adults to unwind from the airport drama. Rooms are what you would get for the price paid. Don't expect a resort style room. AC worked. Water was warm. Beds were comfy. All that we needed. The patio area and view are very nice. It's also located very close to the airport. Their card machine was down so the owner was nice enough to drive us to an ATM to pay for our stay the NEXT day. I'd stay there again for sure.

Booked this hotel because it was cost effective, went through the check-in process smoothly, but bell hop insisted on bringing my bags up. When he went in the room, he kept me locked out as he said he has something to do to keep room cleaned 😂. Tipped him, got my stuff arranged, changed, left my watch and went to dead end Beach before sunset. When I returned someone had come back onto the room (probably through the balcony door) and stolen my watch, they left my phone and other valuables, but took the watch. Recieved no compensation or apology from the hotel, they were very difficult to deal with. This was obviously an inside job. Police also asked why I picked that hotel as it is known for theft and shady business. Unfortunately I didn't know this and it cost me. If you choose to stay here, make sure windows and doors are secured when you leave the room. If I could give them a zero, I would. Nobody cared to help me, was a terrible experience.

Loved the staff . The view was the best. And the pooldeck party was a smash.we will be back soon for sumfest and will be staying at the beautiful big apple hotel

The hotel was located in a very nice area. Had such a beautiful view of ocean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room were comfortable and clean.

Very great stay! The boss is as cool af. Everyone there was nice, welcoming and helpful. Definitely liked having the club right next door.

If I could leave a zero rating believe me I would, but that 1 star was for the view. I got in really late as my family and I really needed someplace to crash for the night. Everywhere else was full for the night. Really did not get a chance to check the room prior to checking in. The sheets were dusty and the walls were striping. The beds squeaked all night. We left without showering as the bathroom was deplorable. We had to shower elsewhere at a friend. I am not going to lie the view was great and the only thing we liked. The rooms looked as though they haven't been upgraded since the facility opened. I have been to other hotels where I paid way less and had a better experience. I am sorry if you are booking please check your rooms and the grounds prior. Management please review your facilities. Also, you won't see my name on your guest list as I wasnt the person to make the reservations. I can't only speak to the rooms we stayed in. The staff was great as well have to give you that.

Major was an angel sent for my grandmother, after missing her flight. He booked her in the hotel and put all her items on his freezer this customer service is the next level.

The big apple hotel Jamaica is simply a must stay for anyone visiting Mobay for many reasons. 1) It is conviently located close to the airport and the hotel is willing to provide transporting from and to the airport. 2) The location of the Hotel is simply to die for. Located above the famed hip strip, the big apple hotel jamaica has one of the best views of mobay for the price by far. 3) With safety being a concern for many travelers, the big apple hotel is located in an extremely secure location and provides around the clock security service. 4) The rooms are spacious and, clean, and if you book properly, provides a much needed air conditioning service. 5) Major is extremely accomdating. He worked diligently to assure I had proper transportation throughout my stay and anything else I needed. The staff is also friendly and there to address any of your concerns as they arise. Again, for first time or repeat visitors to Mobay the big apple Jamaica hotel and Major comes with the highest of recommendations.

The view was beautiful it right next to Montego Bay airport u see the plane's as they arrive and when they taking off also there a real good view of the ocean I be bk soon

We booked this hotel after the air traffic controllers went on strike - we needed a room for a good price. When we got there, the manager, "Major" was friendly and funny. It is a 5 minute uphill walk to the restaurant Peppa, which is one of the best restaurants and values in Montego Bay. The fridge worked, the AC was cold. The resort we stayed in Negril did not have those two things. So we kept a positive attitude, had fun, and enjoyed our local experience in Montego Bay.

Serves its purpose Convenient and economical. If you need a rest after a long day and can't afford lodging this will help for the night while you get some jerk or a cup of coffee somewhere else.

There was not a shower curtain in the shower....no bin for garbage in the room.....alot of noise from persons some of whom were not guests...I wild not recommend to persons who want rest....its more for people passing through....conditions could be alot better....smh
