I
see
all
the
good
reviews
of
this
resort
and
I
wonder
how
could
they
be?
did
they
go
to
the
same
resort
I
did??
We
stayed
in
this
property
in
a
villa,
called
Avalon
for
9
days,
and
let
me
tell
you
not
only
this
was
the
worst
trip
I
have
ever
gone
to
but
these
were
the
worst
9
days
of
my
life!!
I
felt
helpless,
lied
to
and
taken
advantage
of.
When
I
booked
this
villa
5
days
prior
to
our
departure,
I
asked
reservation
if
their
special
event
nights,
their
restaurants
and
all
the
resort
amnesties
were
open
and
in
what
capacity
because
I
thought
maybe
they
are
open
with
restrictions
or
limitation
due
to
Covid,
I
talked
with
Candice
Browning,
from
reservation
numerously
and
she
reassured
me
every
thing
(including
entertainment
such
as
reggae
night
and
restaurants)
are
open
and
operational
and
the
resort
is
booked
at
50%
capacity
with
mask
wearing
and
physical
distancing,
sounded
great!
So,
I
booked.
Except
that
they
lied
to
us.
When
we
got
there
we
were
told
all
entertainment
nights
were
cancel
not
because
of
Covid,
but
because
of
low
occupancy,
they
were
maybe
at
10%
occupancy!!
The
resort
looked
like
a
ghost
town,
empty,
deserted
and
abundant.
There
was
only
one
restaurant
open
during
day
time
at
the
beach,
it
opened
at
11
am
to
mid
afternoon
serving
the
same
fast
food
type
of
lunch
everyday,
and
for
dinner
they
open
the
restaurant
IF
you
made
reservation
and
pre
ordered
otherwise
no
food
at
night.
So,
basically
the
staff
at
the
villa
(the
cook,
butler
and
housekeeper)
are
suppose
to
shop
groceries
for
you
and
cook
for
your
meals,
in
our
case
THEY
decided
to
shop
only
from
the
commissary
at
the
property
that
sales
only
limited
frozen
meat
and
vegetables
and
other
things
and
it
really
was
like
a
convenient
store
and
feed
us
frozen
and
canned
food!!!
once
I
realized
that
I
asked
them
to
go
to
a
real
market
and
paid
extra
$300
for
that
but
no
such
luck
I
still
got
frozen
fish..
also
the
cook
did
very
little
effort
in
preparing
meals
I
could
not
even
eat
her
spaghettis
with
meat
balls,
most
of
the
toasts
and
pancakes
every
morning
were
burnt,
and
usually
the
kitchen
filled
with
smoke.
By
the
way
eating
in
the
villa
ended
up
being
even
more
expensive
for
us
than
going
to
that
one
half
opened
restaurant.
There
was
a
layer
of
filth
smeared
on
top
of
the
microwave
and
the
fridge
door
in
the
kitchen
and
not
necessarily
if
you
told
the
cook
what
you
liked
to
eat
you
would
get
what
you
asked,
for
example
your
vegetarian
omelet
could
have
ham
in
it..
the
worst
was
when
the
commissary
was
closed
for
days
due
to
someone
contracting
Covid
working
there,
which
the
management
kept
a
secret
from
the
guests
(we
realized
it
by
a
coincident),
there
were
never
any
notices
sent
to
guests
warning
them
that
they
may
have
come
in
contact
with
Covid
or
even
why
the
supermarket
was
closed.
The
other
problem
was
that
there
was
now
even
less
options
for
food,
this
place
looked
like
a
prison,
a
bad
dream
and
I
wished
I
never
booked
it.
We
talked
to
the
management,
a
vacation
should
not
feel
and
be
like
this,
Richard
from
the
management
offered
us
15%
to
eat
at
the
restaurant
that
night!
he
had
nothing
else
to
say..
what
an
insult..
do
yourself
and
your
family
a
favor
do
not
go
to
this
place.
There
were
many
many
other
issues
with
this
property
like
the
toilet
in
my
kids
room
that
leaked
the
whole
time
or
the
Wifi
that
never
worked
in
our
villa.
I
cannot
describe
how
bitter
happy
I
was
on
our
last
day
to
go
back
home.
