It definitely can be a fulfilling experience since there are different sections of the river you could go to relax and vibe in the water with your body partially submerged. If you care to be more adventurous, you can utilize the swing rope or try jumping from the cliff into the refreshing flow of water. Do remember though, IF YOU CANT SWIM DONT JUMP!!

I've never heard about this attraction before, but I am so glad my family introduced me to it. We had such a great time at Benta River, learning a bit of history, eating fresh fruits and enjoying the cold river water. The workers are experienced, nice and very helpful especially to someone like myself who isn't much of a swimmer! They made me feel safe while having fun. Thank you! And the clay massage was very cool. Be sure to check out the cave!

A πŸ’― out of 10 for me. This was a wonderful experience. The grounds are clean and well kept, so is the river. The falls are very nice and not difficult to climb, there are amy pools of different depths so there is a place everyone can sit in and relax, the water is cool and very pretty. I got a very nice guide to help climbing the falls and the water felt so good. They could put up a few signs leading to the park so visitors can be sure they are not getting lost but everything else is great!

Awesome attraction - from the moment I entered the venue, I was greeted with such warmth and friendliness their customer service team (or the ones who were assigned to us) were phenomenal! The tour was great, the food was spicily delicious!!! I would surely take my whole family back there. PS. if you are travelling from Kingston it's an extremely long drive (4 hours)

Insanely expensive. If they know you aren’t local they will try to charge you $50US per person! They give some of that money to your driver. Luckily we went with a friend who told them we weren’t going to pay that. It was still so expensive. The falls are cool to see once especially if it’s not crowded. A good place to let the kids run around, the falls are gentle enough for them to swim without worry. The road to get there is horrendous so bring patience. You would think for how expensive it is they would fix the road a bit after the gate. Nope, instead you get a kinda nice bathroom and a bar with overpriced drinks.

Nice river, clean environment, quiet. The food is delicious!! Fried chicken is juicy n succulent. Just need some more vibes such as music and entertainment.

One of my favorite falls and Camping spot. Stacy and Simone lead a staff of awesome people. The falls is beautiful and the river so soothing. The wide expanse of week kept lawns also makes for a beautiful backdrop. You have to try the food Simone and her staff really know how to throw down with mouthwatering food.

I had an awesome time here... If you go, I hope your tour guide is Shawn. He was amazing. I enjoyed every minute of this visit. I had mostly videos for this trip these are the 2 still pics I took. GO!!!! you'll love it. There's a mineral bath, massages, waterfalls, blue holes, caves and swimming area. Food is cooked on the premises and you can buy souvenirs. It's a one stop shop.

There is a section where the soil is rich in minerals. When you nassage it in your skin and wash it off it makes the skin smooth and soft. Take the guided tour if you visit. Plenty of parking and the lush green vegetation coupled with the mountain back drop makes the place beautiful.

Loved our time here. Duke was an excellent guide; would recommend asking for him if he's available. The fresh spring water pools are so refreshing, and the 'hike' up the falls is an easy gentle one.

Mind blowing experience. The real Jamaica. This was off the radar for most tourists. The whole experience of walking up along the falls was fantastic. Highly recommend this. Our guide, Dave was awesome. Thanks to Damion Jamaica Tours for the recommendation.

Benta was wonderful! Due to recent rains, the river was rushing more powerfully than usual, making the climb difficultβ€”however, our guide was very attentive and confident. Maybe it’s just because of how strong the river was, but it was absolutely not possible for us to climb the falls with a phone. Needed two hands for climbing and got completely drenched and/or submerged in water most of the way. To help anyone else wondering about how to budget, we (husband and I) took a route taxi from Negril-Sav for $600JD ($4US), then a chartered taxi up to the falls for $20US per person each way. Our driver waited for us and took us back to Sav. Entrance fee was $25US per person. Our river guide was tipped $2000JD ($13US), you’d probably want to tip more if you have more people in your group. We didn’t eat there. Overall, about ~$155US trip for 2 people round trip from Negril. SUCH a gorgeous place!!!!

Loved spending the day here. Very peaceful. The guides are so strong and patient and will help you walk all the way up the waterfall. Not as touristy as dunn's river. We had the whole place to ourselves. Good food too πŸ˜‹ Will definitely go back soon

Love it here.. the hidden cave is golden.. hey, there are some death traps here too so you better follow your tour guide especially if you cannot swim. Saved 2 people on my trip there πŸ™ƒ lifeguards are great too. We had fun
