The experience of moving through the airport and immigration is not as arduous as it used to be. Modern technology has assisted in making this process in arrival and departure more palatable. As long as you flow with everything in order, you will be fine. When you are leaving the country, make sure you invest in the Club Mobay option to expedite your departure and take advantage of a great meal before shopping duty free or boarding your flight. We will be back to Jamaica, no problem!

Truly efficient airport. In and out. From plane to taxi in less than 30mins. Including luggage pickup and Immigration lines. Duty free along the way. No hassle vendors. Lots of taxis and busses.

The departure level of the airport is much nicer than the arrival area. When we were departing it felt like they were profiling my husband they asked a lot of questions. But we enjoyed our trip to Montego Bay.

I would highly recommend the Club Mobay experience for both arrival and departure. The entry to Jamaica at this airport without it can be very time consuming. Based on the extra time and process to travel lately, the investment is well worth it. The shops here are great and lots to do while you wait to board to go home. Very modern airport.

I have never had any reason to complain about the timely service I have gotten at this airport. The employees where sweethearts (Relax! You’re On Vacation!) The shops inside are nice and fairly priced. My friend needed wheelchair assistance and the same young lady helped her coming and going. She so sweet. We both tipped her. Jamaica has become my home away from home. We’ll Be Back!

Sangster International Airport is the airport serving the Montego Bay Area of Jamaica. The last time I came to Jamaica was in 2018, so I was amazed and impressed by the transformation that beheld me, American airports take note of little Jamaica way of a state of the art airport that takes care of its passengers. Let’s get my gripe out of the way, travel in, you encounter a passport machine, then another passport control point, then once baggage collected you encounter another passport check, WHY OH WHY ?? Gripe over, this airport flying out is a much better experience, lots of space, lots of newly installed shops, lots of eateries offering you the chance to live and eat Jamaican before you leave paradise Jamaica. This is definitely an airport I don’t mind arriving early to chill relax and enjoy before the flight out, credit where credit is due

The airport is comparatively small .The staffs make things move quickly even if it’s crowded.They have taxis,Cabs,Vans all available outside the airport so nothing to worry in terms of transportation the prices are all charged in dollars and it is expensive.Inside the airport they have couple of duty free shops to get Jamican rum and local beers.Couple of vending machines and restaurants at the departures.The weekends are usually crowded so please plan accordingly for security check

Staff keeps things moving. Second time at this airport and it’s much better than I remember. Food options, plenty of gift shops. It’s not as much harassing people around the airport as it use to be. Out of customs quickly and smooth. Departure was quick and easy. Able to get through check in (already have boarding pass) within 20 minutes on a Thursday. I’m sure weekends may be busier. Areas clearly labeled with signs. Self kiosk machines were easy to use

Wonderful airport. I love traveling through Montego Bay, a straight flight to Germany in comfort and style. My check-in was smooth. The airport itself was clean

Nice medium-sized airport. There were no lines at bag drops and security. We used the VIP lounge where you get unlimited food and drinks ,including alcoholic drinks with your entrance fee. There's also a play area for the kids, showers, bathrooms, spa facility, and meeting rooms. Really great service and staff was excellent.

the arrival from my country with a change took about 14 hours, I was tired of the journey, I landed at night in beautiful Jamaica. The airport made quite an impression on me. But here you should get 5 stars because the airport employees are very helpful, polite and smiling. I have very fond memories of the arrival and departure.

Due to flight delays, I was able to experience this place twice, and I must say that I didn't disappoint. The first day, I had the big burger, and when I say it melted in my mouth, I mean it. It was so good I tried going back the next day. But they were out, so the waiter suggested the red strip chicken sandwich, and it was cooked to perfection. I have no complaints at all. The service was good. Just be sure to see the hostest before seating yourself, or they won't know you're there or care, lol.

Small airport. Easy to navigate. The stores have better deals than some of the stores around the resort. They didn't take any electronic tickets so you will need to get paper tickets there. It's your only option if your flying to Montego Bay basically and its not a bad little airport.

Significant improvement from last year. The construction work is finally over, and it looks great. It only took a few minutes to check in and drop the bag (and that was with Spirit Airlines).

This is a really nice and welcoming airport. Had no problems with immigration and lots of cool things to explore. Easy to find taxis on arrival as well. Club Mobay is also pretty convenient on the way back.

A little hectic and hot. Departing wasn't as chaotic as arriving. Just Relax, breathe, you'll soon be enjoying a red stripe, converting your money, and enjoying your vacation, Mon.

Important for arrival passengers. Don’t pay more than 10$ for drive to city, or go in front of departure gate and there is transport to town for only 1 usd Nice airport with very good wifi.

Easy airport to get in and out of, quick through Customs and Security. Check with your hotel, should administer COVID test day or so prior to departure. At this time, however, we were told to stay within the confines of the resort for our short stay (Holiday Inn Resort).

This airport in Montego Bay , Jamaica is a very nice airport. It has many stores and food options. The bob Marley restaurant was one of the coolest one. The airport staff is very nice. Our check in process and security went pretty well. There is a language issue but not so terrible.

Flight got canceled due to inclement weather, which isn't the fault of the airport. Though we're waiting and a rat ran through the crowded airport, so... that was- an experience.

We had not been to Montego Bay before and were pleasantly surprised with the ease of entering the country and getting situated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Busses wait right outside the airport doors to pick up those going to resorts. Club Mobay on the way home was an amazing investment. We cannot wait to return.

This is a smaller busy airport. Carful at drop off and pick up as cars are coming from all angles. Can’t tell you much about airport check in as we do it online and use electronic passes. Once inside there are lots of food and shopping choices. Almost overwhelming. The terminal is small and gates are close and small but it went smoothly. Bathrooms were very clean considering such a busy airport. I would have given 5 stars but it’s busy crowded so we downgraded to a 4.

The Airport had Air conditioning, Free Wifi, and cleaned bathrooms. We rolled through customs quickly both arriving and departing. There were a lot of Gift Shops and Restaurants. The Duty Free Shop to get Liquor was fully stocked with the Top Shelf.

The parking lot needs a more functional and human friendly system. Not enough adequate signage about rates, machine are too far from vehicles, QR code doesn't display anything useful and the exiting procedure needs to change. The arrival deck needs multiple and more functional screens with flight info, that tiny writing cannot work especially because non passengers aren't allowed behind the barrier to see it

Pleasant airport, handling staff were very helpful. WiFi was a bit frustrating as it kept dropping off. The area being refurbished is look really nice and fresh, loved the seats.

For the size and the numbers of people who go through it seems to be clean and organized. The upgrades are very good and will definitely help. Beautiful tile floors and a great array of shops for duty free.
