Such a cute spot with grooving music at the outdoor shopping center. They serve coffee and Jamaican dishes. Had their blue mountain coffee and oxtails for breakfast. Both were great although the oxtail could have been tenderer. Reasonable price. They take credit cards so itโ€™s okay if you donโ€™t have any JMD. :)

Had traditional ackee and salfish breakfast here every day as it was so good. The blue mountain coffee was amazing, too. Will definitely be coming back! ๐Ÿ˜Š

This cafรฉ is a delightful spot to relax, pass the time, or enjoy a satisfying breakfast or lunch. The staff here are friendly and attentive, providing assistance as soon as I stepped through the door. I opted for a fruit smoothie without any syrup or sweetener, and it was quite enjoyable. However, my second order, a vegetarian wrap, left much to be desired. The black beans lacked seasoning and had a bland taste. To salvage the flavor, I had to generously apply sauce to the filling. I can't help but feel that the vegetarian wraps could benefit from more variety in their ingredients. Simply combining cabbage, carrots, and black beans doesn't quite do the trick. Adding some onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, or other flavorful elements would greatly enhance the wraps' taste. I would still recommend this place however and I will go back.

I am a regular (almost daily) and I love the food. The jerk chicken is what I usually order and it's always spot on. Their jerk sauce is to die for. Another popular dish that my mother really enjoys and savors is their jerk chicken panini sandwich. Both dishes that we eat regularly are very generous portions and you can't beat the value. Perhaps it is because I am a regular the service is always excellent. They do have an abundant menu including vegetarian. This is one place that I very highly recommend for both tourists and locals.

First time at island Coffees Cafe and Bistro. It is by far the best authentic Jamaican food. Food was out of this world. Sheree was our server, she is an amazing person, very friendly, and curtious. Also hats off to the chef for a meal well done. Bless up.

The service and food were both good. Don't have any complaints really. The prices aren't bad for a tourist spot and the food portions are also good.

This establishment is inside Island Village. A quaint coffee cafe and bistro. What grabbed me was the authentic Blue Mountain Coffee that I had with a side of freshly made salt fish fritters, I could have had a lovely muffin but wanted something savoury. Excellent customer service, a wide range of items on the menu that should suit most appetites. When in Ocho Rios pop in and seek out this delightful Coffee Cafe. Did I mention the real authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee brewed fresh.

Great and attentive service, but that's about it. Go for coffee, as it is apparently decent, but food? Try someplace else, as they make their food real funky here. Bacon is half done, at best, all greasy and chewy. Sandwiches drizzled with some weird cheese paste. Eggs and wraps prepared in so much oil that I had the whole plate filled up with dripped off oil after eating my breakfast. Yeah, if you're looking for a good breakfast, don't put too much faith into this place as their cooks need a bit more training, it seems, and the food takes quite a while to come out as well.

It was approximately 1:45pm on a Thursday afternoon ( why am I so sure ? ). I was late . I walked in and the busy bee darting behind the counter pointed out how long the wait would be.... I then realised the rest of my dining party hadn't arrived and smiled. I decided to find a table on the outside and was surprised to see the tiny Bistro tables and the awkward iron chairs to match ( the chairs were fixed in a slight recumbent position - which meant sitting up at the edge with no back support). When my friends arrived, we went inside and there was a beautiful pine table and chairs- massive and heavy ( I couldn't lift the chair ). This table comfortably seats 4; there were 3 of us. Having one person: greet customers, taking the orders and serving the meals is ludicrous but the excellent company and eclectic decor (which created a lovely ambiance) allowed my prickly side to stay at bay. We had tea, various flavoured slushies , sticky barbecue wings ( a starter), a ham and cheese wrap, chicken Alfredo pasta and a hamburger (as our main). We were all pleased with the quality of the food served; despite the relatively long wait. This is my 2nd time dining here , the last time was March of this year and the one thing I was so looking forward to having - had been removed from the menu ( a sour dough pretzel like bread used to make the sandwiches).

Very pleasant young lady in the shop. She allowed my guests to try flavors they hadn't heard of! She was very sweet and wished us a good day! The ice cream was great too!๐Ÿ˜

My wife and I are Jamaicans visiting ochi and stopped at this place. Service was friendly but not great, we order ice coffee (over priced and nothing special) as well as a plantain tart and potato pudding. The server brought the wrong thing twice (she THOUGHT it was plantain tart but it was a turnover (no plantain tarts are even sold at this place). I got a banana bread instead but the banana bread and the potato pudding were not good, tasted microwaved and dry, had a weird metallic taste as if there was a lingering taste of the container it was baked in or the display it was stored in. Their food menu has good options, hopefully they taste better than the dessert options we tried. AVOID IF LOOKING FOR DESSERT ๐Ÿฎ ๐Ÿง ITEMS .

I give this restaurant an overall rating of three stars because of it's prime location. Otherwise, the food is poorly prepared and the service is painfully slow. I order a simple beef burger, medium well. However, I received a fried breaded patty between toasted buns with a few drops of drizzled cheese paste. I was thoroughly disappointed. My partner ordered oxtails and steam bammy. Her meal was slightly better as the oxtails was tasty, but the bammy was less than desirable. I could go on and on but it is sufficient to say that our visit to Island Coffees Cafe was our worst dining experience in Jamaica. I do hope the owners of this business will take note of these comments and make every effort to improve a business that has some good potential because of its excellent location.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ This is the best restaurant in Ocho Rios! My family and I were in Ocho Rios, Jamaica for March Break and we decided to try this restaurant. The previous reviews are right - the food is DELICIOUS. We ended up returning 5 more times to try other dishes. Here are some of the dishes we tried - Mushroo...
