We visited in the afternoon so it was pretty muted as far as the vibe. The food is forgettable but the views are awesome and the cliff jumping is cool. You start at 11 feet, then they let you jump from about 25 feet. If you do that well, they let you try 35 feet. The highest 50 foot is for the staff divers only and they ask for money to watch them jump.

Please ignore the bad reviews, honestly, this place is the one! We were served by Theodore, lovely lad. The scenery is the best around. Cliff jumping, food and cocktails, not to be missed ❤️ absolutely amazing experience. We even had a giggle with the store staff on our way out. As advised by others to go early if you prefer it a little quieter, or if you like the hustle and bustle and you don't want to miss the sunset then 2pm onwards is for you. Good music, spectacular views and lovely staff.

Lovely Christmas Dinner and cocktails, and the service was friendly and prompt. We got the squid for starters which was fresh and well seasoned (so good we ordered another portion before the mains arrived). For mains we got the fish, wings, prawn pasta and the lobster which went down very well. The atmosphere was great and we ended up spending the whole day after we finished eating just having drinks, watching the crowd downstairs and watching the gorgeous sunset. Such a great Christmas 🥰

Talking about a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea and the natural cliffs that are a part of the tundra, Rick's Cafe gave you an option to view Negril other than the 7 Mile Beach. We also had a great chance to see one of the divers jump from roughly 100 feet into the lagoon portion and it will leave a lasting impression. The food options were okay and the gift shop had some good choices as memories. If you are in Negril, visit Rick's Cafe to enjoy some local flair. As a footnote, it was excellent that they keep everyone safe via at least checking the temperatures and offering sanitizer.

Always good to stop in and watch the divers or dive yourself. This time I went I didn't dive but I ate at the restaurant this time. Great music and food for sure. If I had more time I would have jumped off the baby cliff. Don't be scared!

We did not eat there so I cannot vouch for their food. However, their drinks were quite tasty although they were not cheap. Rick's is one of those places. You just have to go to at least once just for the natural ambience. If cliff jumping is your thing, you're going to love this place.

It's always a great vibe at this spot! Staff are entertaining and professional, the ambiance is amazing, the food is absolutely delicious! I loved the fact that they had vegan options as well, since my fiance doesn't eat meat. The divers are truly talented and the dj they hired played music that was clean. It's definitely a family friendly environment for everyone, including the kids. There are so many activities to enjoy. I would recommend this place to any and everyone!

Such a cool place! It’s hard to beat a bar on a cliff overlooking the water where you can watch people cliff dive while drinking a red stripe. Awesome vibes and great atmosphere.

Great vibes!!! Jumping off the rocks into crystal clear blue water, upbeat DJ and dancers, beautiful views. Amazing!! The food was pricey however, it didn’t lack in quality. The jerk chicken burger was plump and full of flavour. Although this is a very tourist-y spot, it’s definitely a must if you’re vacationing in Jamaica.

Say the name Rick's and some persons will readily be able to identify this place, say the name Rick's Cafe and possibly that number quadruples. This is an iconic and almost matchless landmark in West End. Definately worth the trip. I love going to see the sunset. There is now a dining area in the shallow pool and the daredevils that scale the trees and walls to jump and dive are still there to take your breath away. The place is usually crowded, however, the environment allows you to still be able to take in the breath taking views and almost dizzying heights.

Rick’s cafe was a cool place to swim party. People there were very fun to hang out with and the DJ made it funnier. The sunset view was beautiful and it cool to see people diving off the high cliff. Must go visit if you’re in town.

Oh my gosh! What a great place. The vibe is great, the food is good, with a good amount of choice. Great views, great music, great entertainment and those jumpers!!! Loved it here. Would come every day for my daily dose of good vibes, if I could, was such fun.

Great bar area to come to if you are visiting Montego Bay...you see locals and guest diving into the water while you hang out. I would definitely suggest taking a catamaran cruise to get to this location so you can take in the beautiful scenic background.

The day my friend and I visited Rick's Cafe there was a rainstorm halfway through our visit so we didn't get the whole experience. We did however get to take some photos of the great ocean views and the exciting cliff jumping before the rain got started. Definitely worth going to while in Jamaica although the food isn't so great and is costly it's fun to listen to the music and if you're a dancer it's a great place to dance.

Super pretty water, free entry, and expensive food. The vibes are great, but definitely a huge tourist hot spot. A must visit if you’re in Jamaica though. Great for cliff jumping and overall swimming/seeing nature.

So we came here as part of a boat trip and because of the swell the boat couldn’t drop us off, we had to get on a prearranged coach, which left us with 45 mins at Ricks Place! Something to consider if you are looking to spend longer here. At 5pm the Cliff jumping was busy but you could easily get multiple jumps in. We did the small one which was terrifying enough! The lifeguards were kind and supportive and also took photos for you. DJ was fiyah and the vibe was amazing. An absolute tourist trap but what the hell, you’re on holiday! Plenty of ganja men outside selling. Definitely worth a couple of hours here, brilliant fun 💪🏾

We went to Rick's Cafe just to jump off the cliff and that's what we did. We had an amazing time. Here you can eat, drink, and be merry. They have different levels of jumps and you can do what makes you comfortable or just swim. They have bathrooms and showers for you They do take US money. Try and get early and stay for the sunset. Once the place get to pack they close the gates because of Covid. Amazing views!!

World famous for a reason! Great food, Fun music, pretty potent drinks, the best sunsets, and cliff diving! Just a personal note: do the cluff diving before you eat. 37 feet for a high dive into azure waters is something to mark off a bucket list. I did eat first and went of the dive 3 times, but each time the loudest thing on the way down was my stomach yelling at me. We caught the sunset after and went back to our resort after. Great little souvenir/gift shop. All around fun times !

The view is great. Did not try the food but looked/smelled good very touristy spot. We went driving ourselves not with tour boat/bus so the place was pretty empty and slow. Some workers asked few times to buy them a beer it started to get annoyed but the place looked very well managed with many people working almost feel overstaffed but I know when I went was slow time. I was staying at negril hotel so sunset didn’t do it for me at this spot. Jumping area looked cool and water looked very clean. They say anyone can jump but the highest spot (only one crew does it). Just not sure why this place is so popular (5stars?) there’s other hotels in this area with great view and has cliff..

For what it is, it's great. Definitely a tourist attraction. Beautiful water. The cliff jumping is the main attraction. Drinks weren't bad. Didn't eat so I can't speak for the food. Bartenders were polite and quick.

Went very early on Wednesday, the place was empty. So nice!!! We had it all to ourselves. Gets super packed later in the day, so if you like the crowds and chaos go later. Staff and people who jump the cliffs are nice, give them a tip 👍

Great food, really nice establishment with big views. Priced on the high side. What I disliked was the automatic 10% gratuity they added in the bill that doesn't go to the waiter. I then was still expected to tip the waiter. I've gone once now, so I can say I've been there... but won't be going back.

It has several diving levels. Takes nerve. Has swimming pool. Restrooms were clean. Music was great. Servers okay. Lively, Very atmospheric. Food was so-so. People I was with enjoyed theirs.

Took the "Little Reefer" tour, and this was a stop. Great time, crazy heights to jump from! I went off the 25ft ... Don't jump with your phone...I thankfully, I was able to get my back (for a fee), but it got a priceless video

One of the best locations of a bar we've ever seen. Clear, turquoise and blue water, lower levels on the cliff, oh and the other end of the bar stretches infinitely into the water. The drinks weren't bad either :)

Glad I went. I didn’t jump. Definitely a tourist attraction. I probably will not be back but I’m glad I went. If you want a good seat you ou have to purchase food. I didn’t want to order food since people consistently said it was bad in reviews. I just wanted to drink and watch people dive. Watching people jump was fun, but after about 30 minutes I was ready to go. The drinks were good but more expensive then other restaurants in the area. Glad I went…and Glad it was free.

Drinks are reasonable at 6$ each views are good. This guy knows about marketing. People jumping off the side of the building into the ocean. Food looked nice we didn't eat. Yeah good to see the sea!
