Nice little bakery. I go there for their raisin bread and cheese. Service is okay, no sit and dine facility (purchase to go environment) if you need a baked snack it suits the bill. Prices are very reasonable. Served quickly.

It is a Montegonian landmark. The place needs a little sprucing up but everything is delicious there. The customer service is not bad either. The wait times are bearable.

I found a fish's bone in my bread! Yes, it came from St. James Bakery because it is on the bag, and yes I was eating it alone. How does a bone and hard dough bread correlates? Come on people, I advise you guys not to let it happen again.

Bought 2 dozen regal yesterday 13/03/2021 and it came up to JA $1560. To my astonishment, I gave the cashier US $20 and she gave me back JA $440, she gave me US $1= JA $100. I love their products but this was a big disappointment to me as they have been my favorite bakery since childhood. Just a reminder that you have to be careful of everyone regardless of who they are. 😑😑😑😑😑

St James bakery is as good as it gets in the bread business in Jamaica. I’ve enjoyed their baked good since i was a kid and it’s always a stop when I’m visiting Jamaica. The best are their Easter buns, do yourself a favor and get a couple of them, they make great gifts too. On the regular, i get their pumona biscuits, penny buns and their harddough bread. If you’re seriously into bread, in Montego Bay, there are only 2 that is worthy, St James Bakery is 1.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I don't think a lot of persons actually go to the bakery as much as they actually buy the bread. People surely love the consistently delicious bread, which is available all round town through their street sales agents. Definitely try anything branded Time & Patience as they bake with heart & soul!

🫀 Since Mr. Captain has died, the store in Montego Bay isn't the same. Less products in store & the place is in a bad condition!!!!

πŸ‘ Big favourite is chicken chop suey meal and cornmeal pudding dessert. Place needs a facelift though. Cowfoot soup seems to be another favourite with many.
