We
did
the
Dunn's
Falls
Zipline
and
Climb,
Horseback
Riding
and
ATV
tour,
and
had
an
amazing
day.
They
do
take
safety
seriously.
We
wish
we'd
been
told
about
the
sequencing
of
the
activities
so
we
could
better
prep
the
clothes
we
wore:
Started
with
horseback
riding,
which
included
riding
in
the
water
at
the
beach
-
you
will
get
fully
wet.
Then
ATV
riding
(same
location),
where
you
may
get
dirty,
and
you'll
get
soaked
if
it
rains.
Finished
with
the
zipline
over
the
falls,
then
climbed
the
falls
-
definitely
need
a
bathing
suit
for
this.
There
are
changing
areas
at
both
locations.
There
are
food
options
at
both
locations.
Horseback
riding
-
our
guide,
Lecky,
was
funny
and
amazing.
He
ensured
we
all
understood
how
to
properly
ride
(not
as
easy
as
it
might
seem
if
you
haven't
done
it
in
a
while).
We
rode
through
the
woods
and
along
the
beach,
then
they
swapped
saddles
and
we
all
rode
through
the
water
as
deep
as
the
horses'
backs.
It
was
a
bucket
list
experience
I
hadn't
realized
I'd
wanted
until
I
actually
did
it.
The
ATVs
were
fun
but
it
took
a
while
for
them
to
find
enough
that
were
in
working
order
before
our
group
could
start.
This
was
the
one
negative
for
the
day
and
I
felt
they
should
have
sorted
this
out
beforehand.
Some
of
the
vehicles
failed
during
the
ride
and
had
to
be
swapped
out.
Definitely
need
to
focus
more
on
maintenance,
although
none
of
the
problems
seemed
to
create
an
unsafe
ride,
just
inconvenience.
We
spent
a
good
60-70
minutes
riding
once
we
got
started,
through
the
woods
and
along
the
beach,
experiencing
a
wide
range
of
terrain.
It
started
raining
without
lightning
about
halfway
through,
and
we
appreciated
that
they
kept
the
tour
going,
but
we
did
get
re-soaked.
Lunch
-
we
stopped
near
Dunn's
Falls
for
lunch,
which
was
included
in
the
price
of
the
tour.
We
had
Jerk
Chicken,
beans/rice
and
cabbage,
and
it
was
solid
but
not
amazing.
Dunn's
Falls
-
our
guide
Maurice
and
the
team
were
super-attentive
to
what
can
at
times
be
intimidating
climb
-
you
literally
climb
through
the
falls
at
some
times,
with
water
rushing
over
the
rocks
you're
climbing.
The
photo/videographer,
Alex,
was
also
fantastic
about
helping
everyone
capture
some
great
poses
at
the
right
spots,
and
was
willing
to
take
pictures
with
your
phone
as
well
as
his
camera.
It
was
a
thoroughly
fun
and
memorable
experience.
The
zipline
before
the
falls
included
three
zip
segments,
and
the
safety
precautions
were
spot
on.
Exhilarating.
Pro
Tip
-
If
you
have
a
standard-size
padlock
(Combination
or
keyed),
bring
one
and
save
yourself
$10
at
the
first
leg
of
the
trip
(you'll
need
to
rent
a
locker
at
Dunn's
Falls
regardless,
but
after
deposit,
you
only
end
up
paying
about
$5).
Pro
Tip
-
Bring
a
swimsuit
AND
change
of
clothes
if
you
want
a
dry
ride
back
to
the
hotel.
You'll
get
soaked
at
both
areas.
Pro
Tip
-
save
yourself
$30
and
bring
a
waterproof
pouch
for
your
phone
that
can
hang
around
your
neck,
or
at
least
buy
one
on
Amazon.
Pro
Tip
-
be
prepared
to
tip
a
lot
if
you're
happy.
Not
sure
if
it's
true
or
not
but
the
tour
teams
actively
suggest
tipping
if
you're
happy,
and
make
the
point
that
it's
how
they
make
most
of
their
money,
not
their
hourly
rate.
We
did
tip
because
the
guides
were
excellent,
but
I
recommend
having
a
variety
of
currency
units
(singles,
fives,
tens,
twenties)
on
hand.
American
currency
is
as
welcome
as
Jamaican
dollars.
FYI
-
you'll
have
the
chance
to
buy
photos
of
the
experience.
The
per-photo
fees
for
horseback
riding
and
ATVs
were
high,
but
we
got
about
25
photos
and
a
video
of
our
Dunn's
Falls
excursion
for
$40,
which
was
a
great
deal.
Overall,
we
felt
we
got
EXCEPTIONAL
value
for
the
amount
paid,
even
when
we
added
in
the
tipping
and
considered
the
cost
of
purchasing
photos
that
we
simply
could
not
have
gotten
otherwise.
Strong
recommend.
Only
reason
for
four
stars
was
the
not-insignificant
mechanical
issues
with
the
ATVs
during
our
tour,
and
because
a
few
simple
reminders
and
clarity
about
the
sequence
of
the
tours
and
availability
of
changing
rooms
would
have
helped
us
better
prepare
and
save
about
$30-40.
