🫤 The Ricks Cafe and scuba snorkeling at Motego Bay in Jamaica is not worth at all. They sold the trip with all these fun activities but in reality you see some bats and go to a very crowded Ricks Cafe. They transfer you from one boat to another and they started yelling as people were afraid to move... People often mention experience, boat, time, staff, people, snorkel,

Jeff and his wife are very knowledgeable, experienced, attentive, and Fun! They made our dives seamless and enjoyable. Despite pretty high seas they operated everything very safely. We had small groups of four per instructor. Equipment in the shop is new. We had full 1 hour dives on the reefs. The sites were good, with many corals, fish, calamari. We were on pretty shallow dives, which allowed a lot of light. Granted, these were not the best sights we dove but that's a different issue.they train for open water at the resort. I would feel comfortable having my kids take classes with Scuba Caribe.

Friendly and efficient, located in prime location inside RIU Resort, means you need to buy a day-pass for the resort but worth it to relax and have full access to resort facilities afterwards.

This is a feedback more than criticism for the supposed free activities provided at the Riu montego bay location by Scuba carribe. We wanted to sail in the bay, I understand they want to be careful with their equipment and liability but being so careful and only allowing people with “sail license” defeats the purpose of having people enjoy the experience of sailing. Have an instructor provide proper training (paid) to get guests acquainted with boats, local conditions and limits for sailing versus denegrating someone that couldn’t sail around their bay first time. Even experienced captains take on local pilot to get in and out of ports. I feel they are only keeping sail boats as relics to show they have them on display. Change the policy and allow people to safely experience the beautiful sailing on these hobie cats or remove them completely. Checkout how Bavario resort handles sailing in punta cana, how they manage in friendly and safe way in far more rough conditions.

We had an absolutely amazing time with the staff at ScubaCaribe. We dove 4 times over two days and each day was unreal. Finished our Advanced Open Water certification with their very skilled instructors. The dive boat was the nicest and cleanest boat we have ever been on. If you want to dive, look these guys up.

The ScubaCaribe was indeed real fun. The sales rep Bobie Started with Bobie Lee was really good 😁. The crew of Tammy, Rhoan, Micheal Lee and Captain Rovey were awesome and entertaining 👌🏽 I highly recommend them and this cruise 🛳

Scubacaribe was a wonderful experience when we visited Jamaica. We decided to do the snorkel and booze cruise tour and it was great! It was the perfect start to our vacation. The next day we did a dive with Odi, he was very experienced and safe. We saw Chubb wall it was beautiful! Saw a black and white spotted eel and tons of fish. The visibility was great but odi told us it’s better than that usually. We’re use to Florida diving and vis can be spotty. Overall I highly recommend scubacaribe it was easy and enjoyable to book through them the ladies are very helpful. We will be back thank you!

Not the best Riu I've stayed at. Food is just ok - you won't starve. Staff are very helpful and the entertainment staff are great. I'm a smoker so not pleased at all that they don't allow smoking ON the beach. How ridiculous is that. All the resorts I've stayed at (10) allowed smoking on the beach. Fed up with being treated like a second class citizen.

Overall I think this is a better catamaran experience than the one we booked with JTL in the lobby. They take you both to the same reef to snorkel which is unfortunate, we thought we would be experiencing a different area. The “private island” is mentioned during the explanation process, when asked a separate time it turned to “private beach”..loud music, aggressive vendors asking for money, food, hookah, bar and jet skis. The jet skis are about 70-90 usd and the boat will let you stay on the island for 60 mins. It took us about 35 mins to get on the jet ski itself. Again the value is so diminished at that point. During our snorkel experience the captain decided to link the boat up with another boat. A situation occurred that caused our anchor to uplift and the captain to then reposition the boat entirely and left all the swimmers and people snorkeling in a position of having to swim against current for up to 20 mins to even get back into the boat. When we asked the captain and life guards what happened they ignored the question and laughed at us.. I was really looking forward to this experience and it was unfortunately soured. We told the staff we booked with and they seemed concerned when we explained it to them but again nothing was offered to us. This was 400 dollars for 4 people not well spent.

The best day spent at sea! Scuba Caribe are always the best provider when it comes to water activities, principle of variety and offer as well as a high emphasis on safety and they are highly reliable as a tour provider. This time I opted for the boat party and scuba-diving out in Montego Bay Jamaica. This was really a perfect blend of high energy plus a memorable opportunity to go in the crystal blue waters and take a dip for some snorkelling. One of the diving team was so kind to take some content on my GoPro for me and I ended the trip with some great content swimming and of the colourful reef a little further down . The team were encouraging and supportive even for those less confident swimmers and that’s why time and time again I would always recommend and use this tour guide

I'm currently trying to book a dive but proving to be difficult as the staff at the desk have no clue to the sites they go to. It's seems too casual for me and not an instructor about to talk to either. I went diving last year a the riu in Ochi with no issues but mo bay is definitely loosing a lot of buiseness due to the lazy staff!

Hands down the best experience I had in jamaica. The staff was really fun. Made sure we had a good time. Shawn was everyones favorite. He really represent the company and what jamaica is about.

We went on the signature snorkel experience. It’s 2 hours for $49 pp. It’s way quieter than the catamaran experience which is basically a party/booze cruise. We just wanted to snorkel and that’s exactly what we got to do! It ended up just being the two of us, plus captain Footy and the snorkel guide Rendell (sorry if I spelled those incorrectly). We went to two reefs and it was amazing!

The experience is definitely left up to the customer to create, the staff was very lack luster. One of them seemd to have an attitude as if he didn't want to be at work or deal with anyone. Snorkeling was the highlight, although the water was rough and couldn't really see much, the staff was attentive and on point during this portion of the tour. They definitely need to enforce NO Smoking on the boat! Music needs major improvement. Price is very reasonable, but if u are trying to have a fantastic time....go with another catamaran company.

If you are under 40 you may want to consider another snorkel adventure, unless you are into vulgar “twerking”, vulgar music, and people smoking cigarettes and pot the entire trip. Certainly not judging... that’s just not my thing, but if it’s yours then you will love it. Snorkel location is great.
