Really good authentic food! My husband wanted some steam snapper. We get to choose the fish and boy how i love everything about this place. I hope they stay the same with their seasoning. Unfortunately a lot of Jamaican places in Mo Bay cater to the tourist. I’m a tourist myself but I’m Caribbean and I know what true Jamaican food taste like. This place along with Pelican is awesome for people who want to taste the spice, the heat, eat down to the very end. Please don’t come here asking the chef to change up the taste. There are very few places like these left that others want to enjoy. Either respect the culture or go somewhere else. Cultural behaviour and foods should never be modified for no tourist. You are a guest to their country. Learn to love it all

Snappaz was recommended by several locals, and they did not disappoint us. The food was really good. Loved the spicy mango sauce with the calamari and the spicy mango fish was really good. Definitely should go here if you are in montego bay. Don't expect fast service as that is the norm in Jamaica.

The meals were a hit or miss. The wings are a must try. The garlic lobster was also good. The staffs are very polite and professional. The restaurant is clean and the restrooms are clean as well. The ambiance is peaceful though it’s a sports bar.

Snappaz is a hidden gem in Montego Bay! This was my first time here and the service was good, food was great and the atmosphere was chilled. They were open very early on a Sunday morning, food came out exceptionally fast and the waitress was good too! I’ll be back at some point during my stay!

Let me tell you 1st that my whole entire reason for booking the cruise was to eat some authentic Oxtails! We asked our taxi driver to take us to the best Authentic Oxtails not commercial or franchise somewhereshe would go eat. She took us to Snappaz and OMG was she right! It was worth the cruise. Great food and view of the planes arriving and departing. I would definitely go back! Natasha was our server and she was very friendly she got a laugh at my excitement looking at the planes and trying to take pictures of them departing and landing. Of course I kept missing good shots. I was just so amazed how close they were I simply love planes. The Lemon Lager she said was a lady's drink, it was a great pairing with my meal. The fruit drink was made of fresh fruit and was delicious! If you are in Montego Bay and want some amazing food definitely try Snappaz!

Visited on 16 Dec 2023 Best place for all your seafood needs. Excellent tasty and full of real Jamaican flavour. This up and coming Chef is really giving the hotel cooks a run for their money. Romario will be blessed with michelin stars one day soon. Will be back again🤩

You pick your fish they do the rest! All food was freshly prepared and well seasoned. 20/10 a must try. It's located not too far from the airport so stop there on your arrival you won't regret it!

Pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Loved the large outdoor covered setting. What was especially cool was that it is next to the new airport extension so you get a Birdseye close up of planes taking off and landing. Great if you have little kids or anyone who just loves looking at planes. As for the food, it was super tasty and relatively quick. Not the cheapest place in the world, but still definitely worth a visit and highly recommend. I had the oxtail and, the person I was dining with had the steamed fish with coconut. Both were super yummy. Was told they serve breakfast lunch and dinner, so I am definitely going to check out breakfast later this week.

Great local spot. Tucked away inside the community. Love the diversity of people that come by. Sports bar. Perfect place to watch a football match. Friendly folks and great service.

Love love love! I am please with how the venue looked and the one man live band. I appreciated my waitress. I felt loved with food. Lol I will surely return with my additional family members. This was a lovely experience for my partner and I.

Discovered this flavorful spot while on my trip to mobay from Chicago. Came here multiple times during my trip and loved every dish. The food is full of flavor and cooked to order. I had the snapper and mango chicken and they were so yummy and tasty! The owner was really nice and made sure I enjoy I enjoyed my food. I love the atmosphere as well - they had karaoke one night which was fun. I like that it’s right off the ocean, too. I would definitely come back whenever I visit Montego Bay again.

I have ordered stew peas two times and it was always tasteless and cold. I thought the first time was an accident but the second time is unacceptable. Invest in food warmers. In addition to that I purchase steam bammy instead of rice. (Totally Disappointed) apparently they steamed the bammy with fish so the bammy was raw. The food needs to be at food safe temperature to avoid bacteria. I will not be returning.

After I saw the YouTube video it was a must to go and the food and hospitality did not disappoint..love the place the food the atmosphere everyting good A++++ and Arlene was the best💕

Our waitress was lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended the lobster you can pick your own. Food was amazing when I go back to Jamaica I'm deffo paying this place a visit again.

I was very disappointed that many of the items on the menu weren’t available. The server was unable to provide any recommendations on dishes and when asked about a specific item, told me “she would have to ask the chef how it tasted.” The plus for this was the open air atmosphere right next to the airport runway.

I chose to eat here based on reviews and recommendations. I dined here on a Sunday, arriving between 11am and 12pm, so breakfast was still being served. The service was poor to start with, but then my server, whose name I'm choosing to withhold, did a complete 180 once my food came out, fortunately. I had the ackee and saltfish. It was fine. A little bit oily for me and I could taste the oil in the callaloo. But it was OK. It was filling, I didn't eat all of it. I also had a daiquiri, which was very tasty, with just the right amount of rum. The atmosphere was fine. A steady stream of patrons arrived, from solo diners to families to people collecting take aways. The setting is very clean, comfortable and very airy, which is a must in very hot Montego Bay. The location, away from the tacky Hip Strip is perfect, it really is a hidden local gem. It was also nice to watch planes take off from the runway opposite. I would definitely return here to try some of the seafood dishes this restaurant is known for.

The food was good. The service needs working on, we had to signal a waitress to come to our table after sitting there for a bit, the waitress is ready to take orders from us and we didn't even get a menu to look at. Before I finished my meal the waitress came removing plates from the table and then stood there waiting for me to finish with the piece of plantain left in the plate. 😔. They can't beat the service at chill out hut. The atmosphere is ok but they need to play some better music. Geez 🙄

Food was good, the service was super friendly if not a bit slow. Place had a sports bar kind of vibe which is good.if that's what you want. Location needed additional parking when we visited but we did notice construction underway. Also since it's right next to the airport it can be a bit loud as the planes come and go. If you like watching planes take off and land however then the location will be right for you.

Food was pretty good except for the jerk pork. Sevice was a little slow . But the waitress was patient with us since we were a big group.

Nice local spot that's fairly new! Place was suggested by hotel staff, so had to try! Only about a 10 min drive from the resort next to the airport! The steamed snapper with coconut milk was very good and fresh! !

The food was good but I do not enjoy their rice and peas. The curry goat was top tier and the mixed drinks is definitely on point. The fried chicken wasnt exceptional but not bad either. This spot definitely has the potential to be around for a very long time. The staff is also very friendly and their customer service is on point

Overall experience was good, staff are courteous, and attentive, however the food might take a while if you’re dining with a large group. The meal was good a bit on the lukewarm side. Great ambiance and the overall vibe was good. I would go again when in the area and definitely suggest if you’re in the area.

The margarita was made with perfection, topped off with the perfect taqilla. The curry shrimp and the garlic shrimp, rice and peas was delicious also. Overall I plan to return and highly recommend this place. There are also large screen TVs to watch sports
