The Rastafari Indigenous Village is operating on a smaller scale recovering from Covid-19. Yours are operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10:00-13:00 but you must book in advance. Minimum group size of 2 at $150 per person for a 2-3 hour experience. The village offers a relaxed but structured discovery of Rastafari beliefs and lifestyle - if you bring an open mind you can take away learning as well as a few souvenirs. Highlights include an expert tour of flora with a focus on medicinal uses and cooking your own lunch. A welcoming, interesting diversion into a more authentic culture than your hotel can offer. I am so very glad for the resort chef Wesmore and driver, Kacey (who stayed with me for the full 2-hour tour), could make sure my desire to visit with my brethren could come true. There is so much richness, history, and medicinal appreciation in this sacred land space. Honored to have been allowed to visit.
