We stayed in building 11. Everything here was A+ from service to atmosphere. The food was OK. Some of these all inclusive places try to do too much with the food. They have an Asian, Mexican, Italian, and Caribbean restaurants. The Caribbean place was the best, hands down (go figure). The others just missed the mark but I get it, they're trying to provide you with options. The people and staff are just some of the sweetest and kindest people I've ever encountered. They truly bring the Jamaican vibe. We had the all inclusive experience so we ate and drank all we could! They have kayaks, paddle boards and Hobie Cats you can use for free. They offer fishing charters, catamaran cruises, diving, and all kinds of other activities for you to enjoy. Every night the staff put on a show of some variety, beach BBQ, fire dancers, live music, and dancing. I would definitely come back in the future and stay here again.

I would highly recommend this resort. The staff are amazing, shout out to Bones, Martin, Ford, Anton, Christina(pool bar), Damien and Mike (security). These staff members went over and above to make our stay fabulous. The security here is amazing they make sure you are well watched out for. My daughter and I felt very safe to walk the beach. Honestly this is had been one of my best vacations. The land of Jamaica is beautiful, the Jamaican people our very loving and kind. The Azul resort is beautiful and with great staff. The resort is well maintained, wish I could remember the names of the man who maintains the grass and the painter. Both men are so friendly, always checking as we went by to make sure all was good and we are having fun. Resort is very clean, lots of pools! Highly recommend 😀

On 2 separate days found large cockroach in our room (building 12) pool bar staff great and other bar staff..but did witness a pool bartender feeding alcohol drinks to a staff member sweeping the sidewalk. Guys at scuba shop are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Have to many conseagre. And witnessed management chewing out staff at buffet by building 12 for having to many bowls out on Mexican night. Why???So they can get mad when they run out later..really?? All this while we are waiting for him to move so we can get our food. Totally uncalled for..( bald skinny guy) beach service staff was great.. they had been painting and doing repairs during our visit but clad to see they invest into property but of course the owns had paid a visit too. Needs a bit more work like fix the toilet I had in my room with one bolt holding it to the floor and never fixed when asked to have it addressed. Had no hot water for a couple days.friend ask to switch to building 12 with the rest of the group and told they would but then nope..he would have paid extra if that was an issue. Beach is nice too. Upper Management staff needs to respect the staff better and appreciate them..

M&M, Situation, Bones were an incredible addition to my first experience in Jamaica. They were attentive, entertaining, beyond friendly. These 3 staffers made the trip worth every penny. Made my birthday the best in years. Thank you Azul Negril.

This was our first time in Jamaica and wow, what an amazing time. Azul beach resort was easily 5 out of 5. From the food to the views, the beach and the amenities, everything was perfect. But if we had to pick one thing they did above and beyond our expectations was the entertainment. The entertainer "Bones" absolutely made our stay amazing. He was nothing short of spictacular. He made us feel at home and showed us the be best time ever. Would highly recommend Azul to anyone.

We have had the best time at Azul. The staff is outstanding and go above and beyond for the quest. On our first day we were greeted by Olivia in the lobby. She is a customer care representative and she takes her job to heart. She checked on us daily and I will remember her forever. The entertainment was also top of the line. Bones kept us entertained all week. His vibrant personality makes him a true asset to Azul. If you stop by Garfield grab a drink from Danielle. She is the absolute sweetest. And lastly you can’t leave without visiting Alphonso at Nesta he is very skilled and a pleasure to meet. Ask him to make the Alphonso special. We loved our time at Azul and already planning our next trip

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! The staff here is so incredible. They are so welcoming and made this trip. We were greeted every morning by name! Every night they have different live entertainment (fire shows, Jamaican dancers, singers) which was so fun! Great beach. Preferred package was worth the spend. The food is okay but nothing special. Again, the staff is so fun & sweet! Bubble, JR & Crystal (beach butler) are the best!!!

I want to thank the entertainment staff, Situation, Ford, and Bones for providing the fun. They were amazing!!! Marklan was great too! Overall…. My trip was amazing because of the people who I was with! But, the service staff could do a better job at following up with requests like wash cloths. I had wash cloths day one and never got them again after several request. The restaurants were mid at best, frequently running out of food. Nothing was consistent as far as quality of food. Power went out a few times in my room while getting ready for a big event. I’m usually not one to be a Karen but… service could be better if you are paying top dollar for all inclusive amenities! Thanks in advance!

Great experience all days we were there. From room, food to beach. Everyone was amazing and kind. Roxy got us an amazing spot on the beach everyday!! JR and Ford are absolutely hilarious and they were amazing at entertaining and getting us engage with the activities that were provided. Marion was great at the Mahogany buffet keeping us topped up on mimosas every morning. The food was incredible everyday and meal we ate. Staff and experience at the hotel was amazing!! Definitely recommend for all ages. With lots of activities for kids!

We had a carefree, relaxing and fun honeymoon here. It was great catching some sun and relaxing at the beach. The entertainment team did a great job of keeping it fun with beach games, activities like dance lessons, and nighttime entertainment events. JR, Leon, Nina, Ford, Anton, m&m, and the rest of the team did a great job bringing the energy and keeping everyone entertained throughout the day. Our butler Dwayne made sure we had everything we needed. There are also fun water activities, I’d definitely recommend snorkeling and sailing. Couldn’t ask for more!

Christina was a great bartender! My friends enjoyed the cocktails and she's very friendly. She also made me a non-alcoholic version since I'm pregnant to feel included. As for entertainment, the bocce ball was fun as well as some of the other beach games. I was particularly looking forward to the dance lessons. You have to find M&M to make it happen, she's the best. She knows how to teach the dances and will make it a very fun time! Paula at the coffee bar is so nice and we absolutely love her. I would've kept it at 5 stars, but the resort facility itself has some issues. Many days they didn't have shampoo, clean towels, or water. The supply of bottled water was atrocious. I'm pregnant and my doctor said I could only have bottled water so when there were several days when they didn't have water to me this is unacceptable. This is at no fault of the staff, but a fault of the establishment.

I’d like to call out the Entertainment team here at the resort. We brought multiple kids and the atmosphere was just perfect. They ALL treated my family like we were their family. Coco, the manager was paying attention to every single detail and kept his team engaged through all of the changes we had to go through due to a storm in the area. Leon taught us many dance moves that we enjoyed. Bone’s signature whistle was hilarious and you knew he was in the room. Anton (DJ Slim) is both athletic in the sand but also great with the music! Bubbles has an amazing voice and did a great job with Karaoke night. Nina treated our kids as if they were her siblings. Ford kept the party going and is a great MC. The kids club was a welcome treat throughout our stay and our kids always wanted to go back which is a great sign. All of the live music was just right and very appropriate for the different settings. Overall, the entertainment and the coffee shop, made our experience 5 stars. Without them, this wouldn’t have been a 5 star experience for me and my family.

Awesome resort! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and clean. There is lots of seating on the beach and the sand and ocean are so beautiful. We loved the pool swim-up bars. The majority of staff were super friendly and helpful. We thought the food was really good, except for the West End Grill and some of the room service items. The Jamaican restaurant and Italian restaurants were great. You do need to make sure you book dinner reservations a day in advance or you might not get a table until 9pm. A lot of water sports were included and there were a lot of fun activities. The evening entertainment was great. The app wasn't always accurate about times. Overall, great resort with lots to do and lots of space to relax!

We booked a Royal Swim up with a tub(according to their own website) and when we got here they put us in a room with no tub. They stated they didn’t have those rooms with tubs. The only room available was the presidential suite and we would have to pay more. Almost $2000 more. They are a fraudulent company and it is the LAST TIME we come here. Trust me and go somewhere else. There are so many other places that are much nicer. The rooms are dated. The pools have no lounge chairs(except one) and it has only 4. It’s ridiculous. The food was not good. People are nice but the hotel needs to get their act together.

The service staff at Azul were super nice, friendly, and very attentive. When we first arrived there was trouble with our reservation, and Carlos not only fixed the confusion he also took care of us during our stay. Kaydene the restaurant host was very kind and accommodating for us. This was an all around good stay

M&M was amazing. She made sure we had a great time along with Anton. Honestly this resort is good because of the staff. The company as in resort has some work to do. There is very few authentic experiences on this resort unless you run into the right staff (which we did thankfully). Huge thank you to M&M, Anton, Romain, Calemore, Shayna for making our trip experience amazing.

A bit disappointed with our stay at Azul Beach! I’ll start with a good highlight before I describe what led to our disappointment. The entertainment team is GREAT!!! They kept the crowd engaged and having fun! Ford is phenomenal. He delayed his departure time to leave for work to make sure the entire pool and beach celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday with a song and dance! Ford and the rest of the team are the only highlight of our experience at Azul. The check-in and out process was quite lengthy and dated which made it a cumbersome process. Not to mention the air flow in the lobby is poor and extremely hot and uncomfortable! The food was not good! I saw this complaint on a few reviews before I arrived and didn’t think much of it! Food was bad and very limited options. Called for room service and the staff was rude and inpatient. They do not have a room service menu that you can reference in a book or on the TV so they have to read off to you what they have available. After ordering they the phone based on what we were told was available they called back a few minutes later to tell us half the things we ordered actually wasn’t available. Half the restaurants didn’t open when they said they would be and once open only half of the menu was available. Nothing was consistent with the food and simple options should have been available. I asked for hot tea they told me that was only served at the cafe but I could get coffee. I asked for ginger ale and they didn’t offer it! Room staff were nice and pleasurable. Hotel is not very handicap accessible either. No elevators, long walks from each side of property and I’m not sure I saw that listed anywhere.

Great time in Jamaica for my wedding anniversary. The entertainment team was superb! Ford was not only hysterical but also very kind. Michael Jackson Dance Troupe was fantastic. Candle light dinner was beautiful. The butler staff Davita and Adrian weee wonderful and helped make the trip very special.

After reading the bad reviews on the fan page we were so reluctant to go. I’m glad we didn’t let that stop us. We just got back from the most amazing vacation we’ve had thus far! Our butler Tamera was such an incredible person. She not only made my anniversary memorable but she truly cares about the guests. I enjoyed our conversations and getting to know about her personally. We will be requesting her for all of our stays at this resort. The food was great, the staff were amazing, and everyone goes out of the way to make sure you have an incredible experience! You will not be disappointed!

This vacation was so fun. I had a blast. Everything was just lovely from the hotel, to the rooms, to the staff, to the food,to the drinks and especially the entertainment.Flamez is very friendly, helpful and nice. She is real and down-to-earth. The beach is always fun and nice. Patois lessons were really funny .This was very fun experience. The rest of the entertainment team was good too always lots of fun and laughter going around.

We spent 5 nights at Azul. Upon check-in there were a few concerns regarding the rooms and dining options. The staff was able to assure us that the concerns would be handled. Food was good and drinks were too. The room was clean- we were in a swim out room, room service was prompt. Big thanks to Ford for going the extra mile to show the property and for keeping the party going poolside. Ford was great. Jason and Kemar as well. The staff adds allot of value to the experience. The check in process was easy when we arrived, and we were quickly greeted by beautiful smiling faces. Every day there was some type of daytime activity. The entire entertainment team was AMAZING! M&M has become like family to me because there wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t find us and check in with us. She kept us entertained for sure. Bones was so much fun with his witty jokes and dance moves. Ford was so much fun and always ensured that everyone was having a great time. This team is top notch, and they helped make this vacation memorable. Thank you, Azul team for an amazing vacation in Negril!!

Beautiful first trip to Jamaica. The staff here are simply amazing. We were treated very warm by everyone we dealt with. Beach is beautiful, great area. We were in prestige block 12 so had 2 butlers ( Tamara and Thomas) who went above and beyond my expectations. Booked all our restaurants, reserved our spot on the beach each day, always had water and beer on the beach and in our room. Really amazing service. Food was good, nothing special but good. Would love to return again and explore a little more. Walked to Negril, went to Ricks cafe. Never felt unsafe. Beautiful country and people.

All of the staff at Azul are welcoming and friendly. The entertainment team go out of their way to know everybody and ensure you have fun. Bubbles, Anton and Ford in particular were great. Loved all of the staff and have never visited a resort with better service. Sorry about all the reading bubbles! :-) We had a great stay.

My wife and I booked this trip as a replacement for a previously scheduled trip to Mexico and it was worth every penny! The resort is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and facilities. What made it even better was the staff. The staff was amazing in almost every aspect, friendly, attentive, entertaining, you name it. Our personal butler Roxanne made everything stress free and relaxing as she was able to secure us beach cabanas each day, and bring us whatever else we needed. The entertainment was outstanding as well, with Ford and Bones leading the way. We looked forward to interacting with each of them on a daily basis. We also want to thank Christina for making some of the best drinks on the resort and Kaydie for providing excellent service at each restaurant we encountered her. Any criticism of the resort is limited to the rooms, they could use a few updates- but who cares when the best parts are outside of the room. Also, the room service - our mini-fridge was never re-stocked and it didn't work well if it did, nothing was cold. Lastly, some of the resort events did not match the daily schedules, which made some things confusing, and access to food was limited during the late night hours. It would be nice to grab a snack if you are out late enjoying the entertainment. All that aside, we definitely plan to go back! Thanks, everyone, this was an absolutely memorable experience!

Bones and the entertainment team were exceptional. They were all high energy when showcasing their talent. We were very impressed with the singing and dancing. The lighthearted humor within each show kept us laughing. Please ensure that you check out the live entertainment each day along the beach and at the Amber Deck. There is something for everyone and it’s always different each day.

Just returned from a girls trip for my friend’s birthday, and we had a very fun time. The location is gorgeous and the amenities are great, but it’s truly the wonderful staff that made our stay special. The entertainment crew really went above and beyond to make sure we had a fun and memorable time. Bubbles was the best, and we had so much fun hanging out with her! She’s a true gem and such a lovely person. And Anton made sure everyone got in on the fun. Every single person we met was so welcoming. I’d also recommend the beach highly…stepping out your door right onto 7 Mile Beach is unbeatable.

The entertainment team is Absolutely 5-star on this struggling 3-star resort. Anton, Nina, Bones, Bubbles, M&M, DJ Squid, Leon, JR, Ford and team have been amazing. They have truly made this holiday experience wonderful. Coco has assembled a phenomenal team that has to pivot with changing weather. The kids club team kept our kids wanting to come back. Our Butler - Roxanne - has been absolutely superb. Her hospitality and service to our family has made this experience unforgettable. The resort overall is pretty broke down. The staff is amazing and is the only reason we would return.

This was one of the most amazing experiences. The food, the staff, the resort. Everything was perfect. The staff really went out of their way to remember our names and remember our orders for the next time. Now everything is island time so don't expect " speedy" service, but you can expect exceptional service. Also being in a tropical island you can expect rain most days around 1 o'clock, but it never ruins plans. We enjoyed naps around then. If you truly want an exceptional vacation then this is the resort for you. Everything was simply perfect!

Absolutely amazing. Christina and Tina at tamarind pool bar is such a delight! Highly recommend. Off season was a wonderful time to go peaceful and just wonderful staff we will be back!

Beautiful resort located along Seven Mile Beach. Very nice accommodations and was not overly crowded when we went. Staff was great. Beach was clean and water was perfect!! While we were there, we always saw staff making sure that the property was fixed and they kept areas cleaned. Masks were required in the restaurants, especially at the buffet. The staff served you and the food was good. I would definitely return again.

It really started out rocky however what made the difference was the staff and the customer service that was extended to our group. I must make mention of Chef Rohan Haughton, who made it his point of duty to ensure that we were satisfied every time we went to eat at a reduced. We really and truly appreciated the effort he made to go above and beyond. Really great place to vacation. Thank you team Azul.

The best part of staying at Azul was the customer service. From first stepping into the lobby, reception was the first highlight. Introducing us to the hotel, the different restaurants, the beach and most of all, room service. The app was quite a wonderful addition, especially with the pandemic still going strong. The beach was amazing, the staff were friendly, helpful, and for some staff members encountered, had the best stories. Room service was good, with a few delays at times, but otherwise great. Only downside for Azul was the variety of food. Breakfast was a highlight, but lunch by the grill on the beach was the downside. The options were limited and I expected options such as burgers, hot dogs, fries, more finger foods, rather than having to actually sit down and have a meal on the beach. It felt cumbersome trying to eat jerk chicken with rice and other side dishes, especially as I wanted to go back into the water. More options by the beach that would offer more mobility would have been better. Dinner was great as we had the option to book for the Thai restaurant or go with the buffet-style restaurant and other choices available. Experience was overall great and I left with the best tan I've had in a while!

The room, facilities and Staff were excellent! The food was great and the ambience was perfect for a getaway. I will definitely return and I highly recommend it as an option for your next vacation. The hotel was adequately equipped with sanitizers throughout the hotel.

M&M is an amazing entertainer. She was very friendly. Bones was very enthusiastic and fun He did an amazing job keeping our group happy. Situation was also very fun and kept us entertained. Fully recommend these people for entertainment. Jag it was an amazing bartender. He kept our drinks full and kept our pool time full of fun.

This resort exceeded my expectations! Fun activities, great food and drinks, but mostly the wonderful staff who were so helpful and welcoming. Specifically, Bones and Situation. They went above and beyond to make this one of the most memorable trips of my life. I am so grateful for their friendship and kindness. It is people like these who make places like this so special. I will definitely come back❤️

My experience at Azul was amazing!!!! M&M, Dwight and Anton were amazing host. They were very hospitable and brought such a warm feeling to our stay. Our trip was that much more special because of them!!!
