    DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! This definitely ruin end of my trip. I spend over 100 USD here and the cashier did not do her job properly by sealing my liquors in the bag. Guess what, security confiscated it. Cashier did not pay attention to us at all, horrible service. We were a group of 4, all of our liquors got confiscated. IT WAS OVER HUNDREDS of USDs. I was so upset cause it is THEIR JOB! I emailed them same day and compliant. That was July and been a month and half, nothing was done! They only told me there was signs everywhere in which there was NOT as the store was under renovation. Do not waste your money! Worst duty free service ever.

    Do not purchase. Horrible experience due to this location. I specifically asked them about going through TSA and they told me everything was fine! My liquor was not wrapped properly so I had to check a small bag and can only hope the bottle does not get ruined during the flight.

    The famous incompetent Sangster duty free!!! DO NOT BUY! Cashier is incompetent. Your duty free bags will not be eligible to take with you at your destination because they don’t seal shopping bags.

    I was very worried about the other reviews and having things confiscated by TSA. However as long as you TELL them you are doing a connecting flight they will pull out an actual duty free bag to pack your bottles. It’s clear with red and seals shut. Just make sure that’s what they use. Sorry to hear about all the bad reviews for confiscated alcohol, but we are enjoying our 4 bottles of rum cream. Only gave 4 stars, selection and prices were good ($12 for bottle of rum cream) however the lines were long and slow as they have to make up all these boxes and tape them for those not doing connecting flights and this takes a lot of time, if they just improved this process to speed it up I’d give them 5 stars.

    Same experience as many others. Skip this duty free - they don’t package things right and my liquor was confiscated. I even told her I had a layover and she said no worries and gave me a plain white bag. The flight attendants thought I was trying to sneak on another bag (Spirit lol) had no idea it was duty free because the bag wasn’t labeled or branded.

    You didn't pack my liquor properly so when I reached my connection flight it was confiscated. The airline told me that you have been told MULTIPLE TIMES THAT YOU ARE NOT PROPERLY PACKING DUTY FREE LIQUOR IN SEALED BAGS AS REQUIRED, yet you keep disregarding the instructions and/or improperly informing your staff. Get a grip on yourselves. It's not a particularly difficult set of instructions to follow.

    I downloaded the app and preordered 4 bottles of Hennessy prior to my departure. Unfortunately my order was not ready and the staff refused to apply my silver card discount to my order. They are terribly unorganized and nearly made me miss my flight.

    I had a great time in Jamaica it was my first time there until it was time for me to go home I decided to visit the liquor store in the airport the cashier was very rude I only asked her if I buy two bottles of Hennessy Pure White do I get a discount she looked at me and said no I purchase the two bottles I wanted anyway I got home November 5th I open my Hennessy Pure White seal bags on November 8th come to found out she stuck a promotion receipt in my seal bag for another purchase to get 15% off that I'd never seen until I open my bag November 8th to me I call this stealing because I could have purchased another bottle for less money that I paid for the first two bottles I just know next year when I go I will not stop in that one anymore

    Very Deceptive pricing. They apply discounts to higher prices which are not advertised in the store. An item was advertised for $85 and they were offering a 20% discount on the item, when I went to pay the price came up as $95 before the 20% discount. Instead of paying $68 wth the discount it was $76. When I told the staff this was unethical and not allowed they claimed they work for an overseas company and they have no control, they can only go by whats programmed in their system.

    We purchased liquor that we had to surrender to TSA at our connecting flight due to it not being sealed. Multiple people on our flight had the same issue. Waste of money!

    Feb 2023. They did not package my alcohol properly in a sealed clear plastic bag and it got confiscated by TSA once I landed in Canada. The most upsetting part was both my wife and I asked the store clerk if it had to be packaged differently. We were both told no it was fine in a regular white shopping bag as long as we had the receipt. This happened to others on our flight as well. Long story short I had to provide proof of purchase and sent pictures of the TSA officers taking it away before my connecting flight. After several long distance phone calls to the Duty Free store in Jamaica, several emails and 6-8 weeks of waiting I finally got my 150$ USD back. Horrible!!!

    DO NOT BUY, ITEMS WILL BE CONFISCATED BY TSA. Same experience as others, I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing alcohol, hot sauce and meat marinades here. They do not seal it properly so TSA will take your items at security. Wish I had read the reviews and prior warnings from other travelers before purchasing here.

    I was in the Duty free near the security checkpoint. I asked the lady if they carried a certain brand of cigarettes... she was very nasty! She wouldn’t even look at me. She laughed and said something smart (while looking in the opposite direction). I wish a knew her name... tall with a ponytail. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful she was

    Nice pre-flight shopping with chance to get last minute present or suvenier on the way home. Very good selection of Duty Free products. Prices are reasonable without taxes. Service is ok.

    The store offers a commendable collection of products, and there were discounts available on certain items. However, the issue lies with the checkout staff. They lack friendly customer service, showing no signs of a smile or willingness to listen to customer inquiries. It seems they are unaware of ongoing promotions, requiring customers to remind them and request price adjustments.

    The airport was ok, just needed better ventilation because it was hot. I had a terrible experience with a lady by the name of Rosan Gray, she is a team lead located at the liquor place. She had a terrible attitude and needs to do better with customer service. The lady working with her was very rude as well. Very nasty attitude!

    The incompetency continues - all my rum and liquor was confiscated in Canada 2 days ago. The Canadian security “TSA” staff already knew which airport I was coming from based on what happened… they confiscated it all too quickly and easily. The staff at this duty free barely took time to verify my flight info and was rushing me, made me uncomfortable. The cashier put multiple liquor bottles in an open white plastic bag without any padding. I should have spoken up when I saw everyone else getting their liquor packaged, boxed … but even that doesn’t seem to fit airport security standards. DO NOT BUY

    I was told today at 2:45 pm Dec 15th 2023 at the chanell counter gates 8-19 I can’t spray parfumes on my body it has to be on a tester, I payed 15k for my trip i had great amount of cash to spend on gifts ( parfumes) but I left! Make sure you take this “rule” out because it’s a great way to chase people away from Your already poor country!

    I made a pre order online for two bottles of Wray and Nephew rum but when I go there no rum was available. What was supposed to be a brief stop turned into a lengthy delay. Why even have the reserve option when you cannot fill the order. Very hot inside but that could have been a one off.

    Customers service by the staff working is appalling and disgusting. They need to ensure alcohol purchased in Jamaica is packed in the appropriate clear bags to clear.our English customs
