Cool ride an old time favorite. If you want to hide from the California heat this is the ride to enjoy a cool atmosphere. I like this ride because it has different missions. I have been lucky to experience every different mission. Like the races or a battle seen or an underwater colony. What ever mission you get. You will enjoy the ride, highly recommend this attraction to ride with your family and friends. May the force be with you. Any place you get to seat in is a good place to experience your story.

This ride is always on point! This is a roller coaster that is run in the dark and is really great for all ages! This is one of Disney’s original roller coasters and is consistently the busiest. How we get in line for this ride as it’s awesome even though occasionally it stops due to a mechanical issues. We got stopped right at the end but it was over quick.

Wow, wow, wow! Talk about a great dark coaster and making it better with more immersive effects such as computer generated imagery. It is no wonder they can do seasonal overlays of this attraction. This is definitely one you must lightning lane if you don't get it first thing in the morning. You still have a bit of a wait but nowhere near if you get on in the standby lane. As you walk on the gantry level you are parallel with this giant spacecraft that hovers over the entry platform. Once you are assigned a row move quickly to secure your belongings and get strapped in. This ride wastes no time in getting you on your voyage. Going up the first accent ramp you head through a tunnel of blue parallel lights with space age sounds. You are then hurled up the ascent ramp covered with stars and red lights as you prepare for you ultimate blast off with more space age music. From there all you see are stars but the ride hits you with sharp turns, sudden drops and twists. You have no idea where you are going until you enter the multicolored lights re entry area where your vehicle slows you down signaling the end of your journey. Somewhere along the ride a camera captures you in the midst of the action for a free download when you exit. It truly is one of my favorite coasters I like to ride at Disney. It can go up to 35 mph in speed. This is a very immersive experience that can't be beat!

This is a high speed roller coaster in the dark. There are many twists and turns drops and rises. Mirror balls make stars. Projection of galaxies have replaced some unsophisticated projections. If you have head, neck, or back problems or are prone to motion sickness, don't ride. Do not ride if pregnant.

This broke down while I was on it. All the lights came on. Turns out it isn’t an actual rocket going to space, just a roller coaster! Long queues and this one is not as good as the one in Paris… but it is the iconic original

Tip: if possible go SINGLE RIDER you will save hours of time Awesome ride never get enough Have been 15+ times enjoying the every time. Loved the speed/ loved the turns / zipping around the stars ⭐️ in empty spaces. Loved the theme music that I had to make it as ringtone

Glad to see it back to its mostly original glory. It was neat being star wars themed but with the star wars area the switch back makes sense.

The wait times for this ride are very long and make you question whether it is worth it. But when you finally get on the ride, you realize why this ride is so popular. It is one of the most thrilling in Disneyland. It does not have high drops but moves very fast. If you enjoy tight turns and fast speed rides, I would recommend this.

One of the best rides in the park. This ride takes you on a twisty track in a dark room where lights are projected onto the walls and track. The lights recently got an upgrade too. The ride is really not that intense if you are worried about that. The wait is usually pretty long for this ride, around an hour usually.
