I hesitate to leave this stellar review as this place is a genuine diamond in the rough. The day's worries fade from the moment you arrive. The staff, always with a heartwarming smile and welcoming attitude, invite you in as though you've been friends for years. The grounds, small yet grand in comfort, offer an oasis where adults can be themselves in the desert. Eric and the staff made us feel right at home. Holiday House is the perfect getaway -from the handwritten note welcoming us back to excellent and prompt service to rooms that delight in space and decor. Each uniquely furnished, the rooms reflect the true mid-century style. My favorite pieces are the ever-so-carefully chosen books throughout the lobby and in each room. What treasures to discover! The honor bar and honor ice cream cart are simply fantastic. In the day's heat, feel like a kid again by visiting the cart adjacent to the bountiful lemon trees. Just beyond the grass, relax under the trees and sky in their lounge area, or pick up a stick and play shuffleboard. The afternoon is never complete without a bike ride, which they have several. And finally, wind down with the friends you met along the way in the hot tub or the restaurant with a glass of wine. This place is a real gem. From service to style, new friends, and old, Holiday House sets itself apart from the rest. Come prepared to enjoy the simple things in life. Disconnect from the world and reset your body and soul by the pool. Let the soft sound of music in the air and a cool cocktail in your hand guide you to complete and utter relaxation. Be kind. Unwind. Love this place!

This small boutique hotel is laid-back and très chic. Most people here were middle-aged couples - no big groups or kids. There's many shaded spots to relax in the courtyard or by the pool, with a view of the mountains. There are not a ton of amenities like at a big hotel e.g. no gym, but my room had a yoga mat. I booked during their Black Friday sale. I got a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. The "Better" room was large, airy, and clean. The kitchenette was very cute and the bathroom was huge. I like that the rooms do not have TVs or phones. If you're in a room by the lobby, you can hear music from the lobby until 10 pm but it's pretty quiet. The breakfast spread was fresh and healthy, with gluten-free options. Highlights were the chia seed pudding, the banana (?) bread, and the hard-boiled egg. The staff are helpful and have good recommendations for what to do around town. The hotel is right behind the main street of downtown Palm Springs so it's pretty walkable and rideshare availability is good.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our trip, and booked right away to finish our trip here when an Airbnb fell through. Amazing rooms, comfortable beds, and well designed. Honestly the 5 stars go straight to the staff! They are friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond at every move. So grateful to have found this gem in Palm Springs

Enjoyed an excellent weekend at Holiday House. The property was beautiful and the service outstanding. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and the wait service that catered to our every need. We will definitely return.

Spent the weekend here and I have been thinking about it ever since. The establishment is giving everything you think of when you think of palm springs. Breakfast was good, the pool was nice, the staff was wonderful, and you must try their chocolate chip cookies! When I return to Palm springs I would want to stay here, thank you!

Absolutely LOVE staying at the Holiday House. This is the only hotel I stay in when I visit PS, I often look at other hotels to try something different, but no other hotels in PS seem as great as HH. The location is fantastic and you can't beat the staff at this hotel. They go the extra mile with special touches, on one of my last visits they left a note welcoming me back with a Holiday House hat to use at the pool. I have another stay lined up with them next week with my sister so show her the magic of this hotel. It is adult only and a perfect size, don't hesitate to book a stay here.

Stayed here for a long weekend with two other couple friends and had a wonderful time. Nice pool area with plenty of seating & shade and they have shuffleboard which was a fun activity. Attentive staff, excellent complimentary breakfast & perfect location downtown (easy walk to art museum, shops & restaurants). Total “Palm Springs” vibes throughout.

Incredibly rude front desk, guy with long hair. He couldn’t find my res so I called chase travel for 30 min trying to locate. Chase travel told me it was a hotel mistake, and that reservation is indeed confirmed. Front desk guy instead of apologizing for his mistake and for wasting my time, he told me perhaps I should leave when I asked to stay in same room both nights. What kind of staff do you employ?

This hotel is just WOW. everything about it from the rooms, pool, staff, breakfast. We had an upstairs best room with a balcony. The minute I stepped into the room I knew I was going to love it. Huge bed with sumptuous linens. Fluffy towels, bathrobes and exquisite toiletries. Absolutely spotlessly clean and our room was refreshed beautifully every day. Breakfast was delicous. The bagels yummy. The pool area is so chilled and I loved the free suntan cream- such a gorgeous smell. the spa pool was a little chilly but it was newly installed. The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. And I have to mention the most generous and delicous buttermilk fried chicken dinner. Stunning. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. right in the centre of town but lovely and quiet at night. Beautiful mountain scenery. We can't wait to return.

Beautiful atmosphere. Gorgeous rooms. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Only drawback; room did not have a television or microwave. Otherwise great place to stay. Waking distance from downtown, the strip. Great food, shopping, and nightlife all walking distance away.

Mid Century Modern, cute, clean, spacious rooms , strewn with books on art and design. Friendly helpful staff, real breakfast a plenty, board games, hot tub, pool, bar, large outside shuffle board, different areas to spend the day in an enclosed well groomed private grounds. Bikes you can loan, well stocked in room bar. Central.

There are iconic, unique places like Palm Springs, and then there are mid-century, modern hotels in Palm Springs. The best by far is Holiday House, spectacular in every way imaginable. The accommodations are pristine and proper, with peace and serenity oozing out of every room. The saltwater pool and Jacuzzi, ice cream stand, bicycling, games, and fun, and the heated gathering area lend to socializing or snuggling. The restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner also serves a full buffet, breakfast with bagels and banana or zucchini bread, smoked salmon with cream cheese, red onions, and capers, salami, and cheeses, whole fruit and berry platter green salad with veggies galore, yogurt and granola and fresh cereals and much more, plus delicious coffee Then there’s the freshly squeezed fruit juice from the property’s abundant fruit trees. The best part is the gracious kindness from the top down. The managers, the front desk, and the adorable housekeepers seem like one big happy family. You don’t just want to stay at a holiday house. You want to move in and linger for good.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Better room and had a wonderful experience. I loved all of the little touches at Holiday House - sunscreen by the pool, the ice cream cart, the ability to charge everything to the room, and the intense commitment to branding/theming. The poolside menu is perfect for hanging out by the pool; we ordered lots of food and drinks and enjoyed everything. There are lots of common areas to relax in throughout the day, I absolutely loved the breakfast, and the staff was great.

We've been coming to Holiday House since their first week of opening years ago when we were so pleasantly surprised to find a boutique hotel of this caliber in the downtown area. In 2022, after having been through the pandemic, still amazed at how well this hotel has aged and even improved. The staff is "best in class" ( and plenty of them!), the food and cocktails consistently awe, and their branded little touches, one after another, snowball into a lasting and memorable experience. Thank you team for doing what your doing, time and time again.

We stayed in a Best room for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Throughout our entire stay, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The pool is just perfect...a nice quiet and relaxing vibe and a wonderful view of the nearby mountains. The property decor perfectly captures the mid-century modern essence of Palm Springs. A delightful place for a stay, short or long.

I cannot say enough incredible things about The Holiday House. We booked out the hotel for our wedding weekend. Everything was perfect. Everyone went above and beyond to make our special weekend even more special. When a sandstorm was headed our way the housekeeping team Saged the whole property!! It missed us. Chris and Eric are incredible, everyone is. Shoutout to Candace! Thank you so much. This will be the only place we stay in PS and cannot wait to come back.

I originally booked this hotel due to its glowing reviews. Unfortunately I had to cancel due to a personal family issue. I called the hotel and I believe I spoke with Tonya. The conversation started good but quickly went south. I was already upset I had to cancel this reservation and the person on the phone didn’t make it any easier. I had to spell out my name multiple times for them to then say they don’t have my reservation. Which is odd because I have a confirmation email. When they came back on the phone and I reiterated my name Tonya proceeded to say I spelled my own name wrong. Excuse me? And then they proceeded to say that there’s a guest at the desk and have they have to put me at hold. So I guess I don’t get the same service since I’m not a guest physically there? My family was around me on this call and were also confused on why it’s taking a while to cancel the reservation. I proceeded to explain to my family the issue I was having. This whole time I heard nothing on the other line and proceeded to assume I was still on hold. Until I heard that the phone call was ended. I called back confused and I’m assuming the same person I was on hold with answered the phone. I explained I was on hold previously and they proceeded to cut me off and say “Yes, I was saying hello hello and you wouldn’t stop talking to your friends so I hung up the phone. Your reservation is cancelled. Goodbye” I don’t know who trained their staff but there is no excuse for this. I was already upset that I had to cancel this reservation and their staff made it no better. They may be rated one of the best hotels in Palm Springs but their staff is not.

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious welcome spritzers in the beautiful blue lobby, which was equal parts modern art gallery and cozy sitting room. The room we had was perfectly situated so we had a view of the mountains, plus easy access to parking, the pool, the restaurant, everything. Our room was adorable and well-equipped with a huge comfy bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and a nice bathroom with GREAT amenities such as Cowshed and Marvis products. The pool area is beautiful, with grapefruit and other citrus trees all around, misters, shuffleboard, an ice cream cart, and even a sunscreen and towel station with a nice selection of magazines. It was also incredibly quiet-- hard to believe we were in the center of Palm Springs! The hotel staff could not have been better to us: they were all just as generous and accommodating as they were completely chilled out, which really helped us relax and unwind. The food was delicious-- perfectly sized breakfast selection, yummy appetizers by the pool, and delicious cocktails! They bring food/drink to you wherever you are on the property with a smile and are just attentive enough so that you feel neither ignored nor bothered. It was especially nice that they never gave us a bill, but charged things to the room automatically so we could come and go whenever. All in all, everything seemed effortlessly chic, cozy, and inviting. I can't see a reason to stay anywhere else in Palm Springs and we'll be back as soon as possible!

This is a small boutique hotel with beautiful grounds, clean and spacious rooms. It’s adults only no one under 21. Also there are no TV’s or phones in the rooms. They have a pool and other games to play on the grounds. There is also a small bar where you can have drinks and sit in the lounge area. A small continental breakfast is included with your stay. The hotel is located in the heart of the Palms Spring strip close to the museum, restaurants, and shops. You can walk or ride the bikes that they offer for the guests to get around. This is a nice place to stay if you are planning a relaxing vacation in Palm Springs.

Intimate, with a large pool - note the pool was shallow and the water milky - they could do better. The breakfasts were buffet with limited choice. It was a bit noisy at night because the dining area gets busy and the chatter fills the area in front of the rooms. The views are better from the upper rooms. The rooms near the restaurant are the noisiest although its quiet from 10pm. The rooms have no TV, which is a gr8 plus frankly. They look lovely, are quite spacious, with a dining nook and kitchenette which was tucked away and not really visible. The bathrooms have baths and were minimalist with round mirrors, double vanities and nicely designed. The overall ambience is excellent, private, quiet from the street, niche 50's style, excellent bedding and very comfortable, attentive staff. Its overpriced because there is not much competition at the stylish level this hotel fullfills.

The perfect stop. Love showing my guests this lovely hotel. Once you walk through the doors, you feel like you are in your own private world. Today, I had lunch there with an out-of-town guest. We had a chicken club sandwich...definitely will be going back there for another one.

We love Holiday House. It's a great little sanctuary in the middle of the desert. The pool and fire pits, the arrangement of the common areas... it's all very thoughtfully done and has a hip, cute sort of vibe. Our dog loved it, too! The only areas for improvement are that the room lighting is a bit dim (this could be fixed by adding brighter bulbs and dimmer switches), and the dinner menu was a bit limited. Breakfast was great, though! Tranquil and relaxing, it's the perfect weekend getaway and well worth the money.

I don’t normally write reviews, but for this gem, I absolutely will! We found Holiday Gouse after my extensive researching online. I’m all about researching things like crazy before booking. This place is amazing! The staff treats you like a friend/family. Huge shout out to Scott and Eric! The two amazing men we got to know the most. You men were incredible. From the welcome drink, the amazing art work, the comfy beds, knowing the wine I was drinking, and to Eric serving us later at night on a Saturday when we accidentally slept through a dinner reservation on our second night (our 3 hour time change hit us hard). The fortune cookies from Scott for good fortune on our travels home on our last morning was the icing on the cake. One of the best places we’ve stayed - and we travel a lot! We’ll be back!

We visit Palm Springs a couple times a year and have stayed at several hotels. Since finding Holiday House a couple years ago we have no reason to look any further. It’s truly a gem. The location is perfect, the grounds are lovely, the rooms are spacious and meticulously clean, and the staff is gracious and welcoming. We also appreciate that it’s adults only. Thank you Chris and team for another fantastic stay. We’ll see you again soon!

Beautifully designed property with great attention to detail and service all around. Location is central in Palm Springs with many things a quick walk or bike ride away but you probably won't want to leave pool here. Rooms are spacious, clean, lots of care all around. And staffing is 100%!! We had a small incident in the room which was promptly addressed and the manager even called us later to check-in and confirm that all was okay. Definitely a 10/10 and highly recommend if you are looking for a bit of quiet luxury in the desert.
