👍👍 This is a legit Shanghai restaurant and I was surprised to find out that this is the original chain store of Tasty Noodle House. Spicy Stinky Tofu: I'm happy to report that they use real fried stinky tofu and stirred fry with nice hot sauce. Grab a bowl of rice with this dish! 😘 Braised pork feet... This is a legit Shanghai restaurant and I was surprised to find out that this is the original chain store of Tasty Noodle House. Spicy Stinky Tofu: I'm happy to report that they use real fried stinky tofu and stirred fry with nice hot sauce. Grab a bowl of rice with this dish! 😘 Braised pork feet: it was prepped to perfection. Soft yet chewy gelatinous skin with a good balance of sweet and savory sauce. Fried seaweed fish fillets: crispy golden brown outside and tender fish fillets inside. Really a great dish and no complaiy here Shanghai rice cake: lots of restaurants offer this dish but rarely rice cakes are flavorful, soft, and not oily! This is a good dish to judge if the chefs know his skill.

I tried a couple dishes. I noticed the baozi (steamed meat-filled bun) was popular. I have to say, it was one of the worst I've ever had. In China they sell these four large ones for about one dollar on the street all over. They taste much better. Even around East LA there are much better ones. This one had oil collecting on the bottom and the bread was hard, like they did not just steam it. The meat was plain tasting.

Food was alright. Though the flavors are a little too strong in one direction for my taste. Ordered the beef curry and the beef stew. Both flavors were distinctly trying to fight for taste dominance.

4 Star. Overall. Been here numerous times and flavor is always really good. A little on the salty side, just have to request for easy on the salt for say the Crispy Fish Fillet dish. They say they don’t use MSG or can request not to add it. Not sure is it coincidence or I’m just being straight lied-out to, but I always get the sleepy drowsy affect after. I need to try this place once more to make sure. Will bring it down a star if I was lied to. The family tends to always get these every time we come: #81 $8.50 Shanghai Vegetables Pork Rice Cake (nice and chewy) #122 $10.99 Crispy Fish Fillet w/ Seaweed (a favorite) #8 $6.99 Seaweed Cucumber Salad #27 $7.50 Shanghai Xiao Long Bao 8 pc

Lunch comes with a free green/black/Thai tea for every $10. Their steam friend buns are excellent.

We go here almost once per month since we live 1 hr away. It is pleasant to eat here and the dishes are fantastic. It can get busy since it is popular, where people can remain standing outside waiting. Other times it is lonely and completely peaceful.

The fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and xiao long bao were great! However, the shen jian bao's 'wrapper' (dough around it) was quite thick and there was barely any meat. Overall a great place to eat 👍.

One of my favorite noodle spots in the area. Recently ordered the jia Jiang myun. Doesn’t look like much but was very tasty and very filling as well.

Stopped by on my way to Long Beach. Really Good food will definitely come back even though it’s an hour away from me. Noodles were spectacular. Orange Beef was amazing never had that before. Please go try it out

The food is good. Pay attention to the address as it can be tricky to find.

Prices are on the high side, but they're running a promo 20% off special now. Most dishes are well prepared. Luv their Red Cook Pork with Tofu Knots, sound weird I know but oh so delicious ! Covers most Shanghai regional dishes of China, cant go wrong with their noodles dishes as well as assorted rice and rice cakes Well worth a visit !
