We haven't eaten at CPK for a while, so this was an opportunity to see if we've been missing anything. We ordered a California Veggie Pizza, Jambalaya Linguini Fini, and Mexican Street Corn. The to go service was excellent, very fast, friendly staff, and it was ready earlier than expected. Honestly though, the food was just, meh...I mean, if I'm going to pay $19.00 for a veggie pizza and $25.00 for a pasta dish, totallying $55.00, I would rather go to a non-chain restaurant (if that's a word), and get a higher quality meal. Sorry CPK, your staff is awesome, but based on price, quality, and taste, I'd rather eat at Capone's all day for the same price. 😱 Anyone agree?

I will not be dinning here Again! The Service was so bad, extremely slow and inattentive! We received unsanitized greasy menus. Our Server never came to check how the food came out, we were waiting on Cheese and Red Pepper for our Pizzas and by the time he came by our pizza was cold. We wanted more drinks and again he was too busy. We ended up getting our check from the Host. I spent over $90 for Bad Service and Cold Food. It was a Horrible Experience. I hope you find my review helpful and it prevents you from making the same mistake. Save your Money!

Wow! We ordered Thai pizza and Kung pao spaghetti to our surprise we enjoyed it. The food came out in time and it has amazing flavor. The fusion dish did go well. The atmosphere or the ambiance was quiet and relaxed. The server for our table was kind, polite, and friendly.

Despite being seated promptly, we were completely overlooked by the staff for a good 10-15 minutes – no one came by to even take our drink order or acknowledge our presence. What made the situation more disheartening was the waitress, who diligently tended to the tables in front of and behind us, despite our attempts to make eye contact and signal for service. Feeling utterly neglected, we made the decision to leave and find dinner elsewhere. It's disconcerting to reflect on our experience, especially noting that we're Asian and observed the waitress readily attending to non-Asian customers nearby. The disparity in treatment raises concerns about the possibility of racial bias affecting the level of service provided. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

My first time was good. Food was good except if one doesn't like certain ingredients that might be in a salad that you want to try- they can't omit. So I'm under the impression the salads are already pre assembled.

Update 4/14/23: consistent food quality. Got a take and bake pizza for $8. 1 star for service due to wrong suggested tip calculation generated on receipt. PSA Calculate your own tip!!! Mix and match lunch special $11.99 is a great deal. 7" pizza and a salad was satisfying and not too much food.

California pizza kitchen definitely has the best pizzas. 🍕 we love the bbq chicken pizza, Thai chicken , vegetable and pepperoni pizzas The bread basket is crispy and tasty, perfect for dipping The salads are healthy and delicious and so large that we take half of them home 😍 The service is always great and the decor is cozy and the seating is comfortable and great for family’s and friends We love their pizzas so much that we buy their frozen pizzas for lunch and/ or dinner ( favorite one Margherita pizza) The desserts are delicious too Enjoy every bite 🥗🥗🥗🍔🥗🥙🥰🥰

Places is always great. Seems they just added a happy hour which is really good for the area. Harbor bartender Anthony was awesome. Manager checked up on us as well.

The wine was perfect! It's not my first time in this restaurant, but I will consider coming back. The food is overpriced. The service is terrible. Our waiter Hanna was not at all attentive, completely ignored me every time I talked to her. She never came to ask how the food was and what else we needed, and she was not even busy. Elias, the busboy was by miles more helpful than the server. He was the one helping us. It seems like she was only nice at the end, expecting to receive a tip. Well, girl, here is your tip. Treat customers with respect, refill their drinks, and be helpful. What a shame. This place used to be better when Ivette was the manager! There are places where my patronage is appreciated, and apparently, that is not going to be here.

I love getting their Chicken Piccata mostly because of the sauce with the pasta I wish there was more pasta than chicken because their chicken texture is okay but their pasta with this sauce is great.

We have been there several times before and have Never had the same problem that I had this day. I asked for the veggies to be cooked on the Pizza and not cold on top. I have asked for this at other CPK with out problem. The first picture is what it is supposed to look like but the second and third pictures are two DIFFERENT Pizzas they made for me.

We loved going to this CPK not sure what happened but for a Friday night it was terrible. We sat at the bar all around us, dirty dishes. We were there for an hour, and no one has cleaned up sat around dirty dishes, the whole time not enough servers extremely slow, paced, no initiative on helping customers and just all-around not good.

Our granddaughter wanted to celebrate her upcoming birthday at CPK & since we had never been we were excited to try it. We were not disappointed! Our server, Izzy, was fabulous and our pizzas were ready great. 👍🏻 This is a “must go to again” place on our list!

The food and wait staff were both excellent. We had the lunch special and ordered two Take n Bake full size pizzas to take home for $8 ea! Atmosphere lost 2 stars because I always freeze in the Huntington Beach location!! I've heard other diners complain too.

The place was dead at 8pm. I sat at the bar for 10 minutes before someone approached me. I ordered a Thai chicken pizza to go since it was late and it looked like they were closing. I waited nearly 30 minutes for it. I ate a slice in the car and it was completely cold. Only the very bottom of the crust was warm and the chicken slices were hard and dried out. It tasted like it was baked and cooled 20 minutes ago after being refrigerated the day before. Waste of money and not worth the $20! I've gotten better pizza from Domino's.

Only one word can describe my experience at this cpk, and that is: FLAWLESS. From the clean place and environment to the servers and food. 4/25/2021. 16:00 hrs,. Back again, and as many times before service was awesome, this has become my favorite spot for me and my family also I want to give a HUGE shout out to my favorite server, which hands down is the best most professional and friendly server I have ever encounter (and believe me I eat out ALL the time) her name is Alena ask for her for the best time with your family.

I love this place, but I don't love is the new menu system they have. You know, one of those systems where you need to scan a QR code, and yet they do not take into consideration the fact that not everybody who goes there has a phone that scans a QR code, and not everybody who goes there can read very well through their phone. Apparently they have limited paper menus, which you almost need a magnifying glass to read, and since they are limited I wonder what the person who comes in later in the day needs to use. The service was great, the food was great, and it always is. But still floored at the stupid menu system, and I wish that CPK and other restaurants would learn that it is about the user experience, not just about the food. I did message them through Facebook when I was still sitting at the table, but apparently that was not worth their time to answer my concern.

Ran in to CPK for a quick lunch w/ some coworkers. Food was served fast and hot. I hope the new Watermelon drink they have. It was just ok, the watermelon flavor wasn't strong enough. I like that it wasn't super sweet but if it didn't have the pieces of fruit sticking out I wouldn't know it was watermelon! I also had the lunch Pizza and salad. The Thai Chicken Crunch salad is amazing. I will get that again for sure. The pepperoni pizza was good but a little greasy...but it is pizza and pepperoni. That is like asking a duck not to quack...lol. I will be back for more of that salad!!

So server Amber she was nice. I order Tropical mule it sucks taste like a sweet juice I will not recommend to anyone to order CPK so call favorite drink. So I give them $50 gift which they said I only have $20 and they charge rest on my CC anyways I don’t want to make a scene so it’s fine. Food was good I will rate 3 star. Overall I will not recommend this CPK to anyone. And I will never go back to this location.

I like experiencing the fresh pizza restaurant in Huntington Beach where my grandma and I enjoyed our meal. I had spaghetti and she had soup.

Ever since the pandemic, they have shorten their menus and unfortunately they have eliminated all the good food items that we loved. From the flat bread appetizer with chicken with arugula and then the chicken & vegies entree but as long as the steak was there I was okay, but today they have also taken away the 1 thing that I loved. This might be our last time here. Nothing on the menu is appealing to eat anymore. So sad.

As a plant based customer, there is an extreme lack of menu options to choose from or to even modify. As attentive and helpful as our wait staff was, there was little knowledge of the food ingredients. Perhaps management could provide additional resources and training for all restaurant staff. Plant based options would enhance the dining experience. We felt as though the prices were expensive for the menu items provided.

Not bad for a chain restaurant. The lunch menu was good although not so much for the server accommodating would could be a vegan nightmare, which I never have been.... I feel ya, I know it sucks to have someone special order by omitting and putting cheese and stuff on the side. This is my reality-- doctor's orders. I gave four stars because while my special requests were simple (no salt, items on the side) I think I either annoyed her or she was just having a bad day. So the service made me feel uncomfortable with her cold demeanor but my son thoroughly enjoyed the fattening splurge. Overall, okay with the food and just marginal all else.

I went here today for Veterans Day. I love that they support the troops and everyone who served. I got an entrée with a drink for no charge. I believe I spoke with the manager, and he gave me a card with a deal for BOGO the next time I go. My pizza was excellent, and it came out really quickly. They also gave me some bread and oil to snack on while I waited for the entrée.

The lettuce wrap filling and sauce was excellent. A lot of items on their menu were not available and also restaurant was understaffed. I opted for their zucchini pasta with shrimp. It was good but just a bit oily for my taste. Shrimp was cooked and seasoned well.

Wow the food was amazing. We took our friends for the first time and they loved it. The avocado club egg rolls as an appetizer was a hit with the ranchito sauce. Then we had the Hawaii Pizza, pepperoni pizza, the avocado club pizza, and the two in a bowl soup (pea soup and tomatoe soup) was all delicious. This is a place to go.

Very poor customer service On top of that they changed their menus which is understandable due to rise in everything however that’s not the only thing they changed Smaller portions but costs more No refills on lemonade ( okay fine ) but at least let us know so we don’t get surprised at the end We had to keep asking to please get refills on water , can we get more napkins, we’re still waiting on !!!!!!! List can go on and on Overall very unhappy with how their managing their restaurants I used to love going in for lunch and dinners but now I usually try to stay away
