I recently had two medical consultations with Dr. Gotlieb and it was a very positive experience. Dr Gotlieb is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He put me at ease throughout the entire visit. The reception staff was also kind and helpful. I had blood work done, and the service was also very good. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend this medical center and Dr. Gotlieb.

For so long now I have been looking for a doctor that actually cares about my health and not just get you in and out as quickly as possible,I found doctor shamendri dassanayake at Nuevo health at south maroubra ,I am 61 and haven’t had a doctor that cares ,shows compassion and as thorough as doctor dassanayake since I was a child,the good old days when a doctor actually cared about their patients,if I have an appointment at let’s say 11am I am seen at 11am not waiting hours for my appointment,I don’t really write reviews but I feel compelled to here as it might help someone else get the care they need,I won’t be going anywhere else.

I called and was able to book in right away on a Sunday. Excellent customer service. Dr Shamendri Dassanayake was lovely - a kind, caring, friendly doctor who I felt extremely at ease with. Highly recommend this professional practice. Catherine

Today was my first visit to Nuvo Health Maroubra. The greeting from the reception team was very welcoming. The waiting area and the consulting room made for a very comfortable experience.

Lovely new facility with great staff. The front desk, health nurse and our GP Dr Selwyn Gotlieb make you feel like you are in great hands. Thorough, helpful and a hygienic medical centre. Plenty of parking in the parking lot downstairs, also has a pharmacy, fruit shop, takeaway food close by.

Had a consult with Dr Ben Pham for the first time today. He’s on the ball, knows what he’s talking about. The girl at reception was so polite and patient and friendly. Extremely happy with my new doctor.

Waiting room time was not excessive. The staff are attentive and tune in. The practice, however, at Nuvo Health, South Maroubra could not bulk bill me as a new patient for my initial consultation .

Friendly & helpful reception staff and empathetic & knowledgeable GP (Dr Shamendri) who was great with my cheeky 2yo. Could accommodate a same-day booking, lovely clean practice with easy parking. Would highly recommend.

Nuvo Health has a very modern medical centre, their facilities are fantastic and my GP, Dr Ryan Vo was great at advising me on my test results. He took the time to carefully explain what the results meant and what I needed to do to improve my health with care and compassion. Thanks to the team at Nuvo Health for the great service.

I’m deeply disappointed with doctor Selwyn Gotlieb. I need to share my experience with others and I hope you won’t have to go through what I had. I went to see doc Gotlieb on Monday 14th Aug after catching a very bad cold, and asking him for a doctor certificate from Mon-Wed (because I had work travel plan on Thursday, so I thought I would get better by then). On Thursday morning I still felt very bad so called up Nuvo to extend my doc certificate date until Friday, the receptionist Beth was very friendly and empathetic. She heard that I couldn’t stop coughing so she offered to help and in the end said it will be sent to my email by the end of the day - I appreciated that. But didn’t receive the doc certificate, today I called up again, another receptionist picked up and said it should be sent to my email by mid day, again nothing came through. Just now, I received a call from them, doctor Selwyn Gotlieb requested me to come see him physically again and I must pay another $102. I cannot believe I need to pay again for simply an extension on my doc certificate. Is this really how you treat a patient who’s genuine so sick? I didn’t go because Im physically unwell and I feel being charged twice for a date extension is ethically wrong. Nuvo clinic, you guys really shouldn’t take advantage of people financially in such a way. It’s disgusting and really upsetting. I hope I’m the last one you are doing this! I will never return to you again.
