They
lost
my
package
before
it
even
left
the
counter...
I've
had
good
experience
with
this
UPS
store
in
the
past
but
my
most
recent
experience
was
far
from
the
same.
I
needed
to
send
some
auto
parts
I
sold
to
Georgia.
When
I
dropped
them
off
at
the
store
he
asked
me,
"Would
you
like
to
insure
the
package
for
more
than
$100
if
it
gets
damaged
or
stolen?"
(Note
he
didn't
say
lost...)
I
said
no
and
they
never
asked
me
how
much
it
was
worth.
A
few
days
later,
the
buyer
noticed
the
tracking
number
wasn't
coming
up.
I
called
the
store
and
sure
enough,
it
had
been
lost.
There
was
over
a
month
of
back
and
forth,
I
visited
the
store
multiple
times,
getting
a
different
story
every
time.
At
one
point
they
told
me
a
claim
had
been
filed
and
just
needed
to
be
approved.
I
asked
them
how
they
knew
the
full
value
of
the
package
and
said
they
had
gotten
the
rescript
from
the
buyer.
"So
the
full
$800?"
I
asked.
"Yes."
He
said.
Well,
another
few
weeks
later
and
I
get
a
check
in
the
mail
for
only
$100
plus
the
shipping
cost...
I
do
not
do
business
with
businesses
that
refuse
to
right
their
wrongs.
Oh
and
for
the
record,
I
called
another
UPS
store
and
explained
the
situation
to
gain
some
insight
as
to
what
went
wrong.
They
told
me
if
the
tracking
number
never
came
up,
it
was
most
likely
never
scanned
in
from
the
beginning...
I
ship
quite
a
bit
of
parts
and
one
thing
is
for
sure,
this
store
lost
a
lot
more
than
$800
in
business
from
me
and
my
circle
of
people.
