Zero star if I can give , this place just wants to suck money out if you . I really hope no one rent this place again . When you move in they asked you to inspect and take photos if there was any damage. Well unless things are broken you would know what to look for . But when you move out , this place nicks and dimes you . A roll of toilet paper you left , $25 , yes I am serious! They also charged $75 for a blind that had little spot that looked like bite marks, but we never noticed them before because we weee not looking for that . No one looks for tiny pin holes on blinds as damage. Yep for that they charge you $75 to replace a blind that was not damaged but rather they wanted someone to pay for new blind. When you file a complaint and they just simply tell you the blind was damaged. Damage is when things doesn’t work or broken. This is really ridiculous, we kept the apartment spotless and no parties, no visitors. Please do not rent here unless you plan to pay extra fee . Do not let the gym and pool fools you !

First the rent is ridiculous. If you wanna pay close to $800 just to get overcharged for every little thing then go ahead and live here. You leave trash on your porch to take out the next time you leave so your house doesn’t smell bad and they pick it up for you then charge you a ridiculous amount when no one asked them to touch your trash. Also multiple people homes get leaks in the roof. Houses are poorly made and overcharged save your money and never live here. Trust me.

Living at Redpoint is great!! My favorite part is all of the resident events that are held, it makes it feel like a true community! Of course every student housing complex will come with flaws but the maintenance and management is always fast and efficient with our needs/ requests. You are definitely getting your moneys worth when choosing redpoint! (The queen sized beds are another huge plus in my opinion!!!)

I love Redpoint Harrisonburg! The management team and those who work at the front desk are amazing. They are always so helpful and understanding of situations. I appreciate all the events that they do for residents. It allows for us to meet other residents in a fun environment. My favorite event they do is bingo. They always give out the best prizes.

the retreat has been great to live at, the staff is always super friendly. when we first moved in we didn’t have hot water, within 24 hrs a maintenance worker was in our house and had it fixed before the end of the day. I love all the amenities and how they have surveys to receive feedback. Their Instagram is super informative and keep me updated.

I lived at Redpoint for three years and was very sad when I graduated from JMU and had to leave! The staff was always very friendly and helpful when I had a question or concern. The maintenance team was always quick to respond (usually within the day I put in the request) and was always able to fix the problem when they arrived to take a look (unless the situation was out of their control and they needed to wait for a part). Of course the property is not 100% perfect, but I truly believe that no property is due to slight unexpected problems that might arise due to no fault of managements. I could not have imagined spending my time post dorm life at any other apartment complex while at JMU! I highly recommend Redpoint to anyone looking for a place to live.

I really like living at the Retreat. It is easy to pay my monthly utility bill, which I only pay for electricity. And it is easy to pay my monthly rent due with many different methods of payment. Trash is easy to dispose of just a short walk away, the house was in great shape when we arrived and it is easy to get a hold of maintenance either by submitting online form or calling the club house. Sunset views are amazing too.
